Request Guidance on Apple Pay Web Push Provisioning Enablement for Issuer Program Post Content:
We are currently supporting an Apple Pay-enabled card program as an issuer/issuer processor and have successfully completed In-App Push Provisioning integration within our iOS application. The in-app flow is fully operational, including issuer-side cryptographic exchange and Mastercard MDES network tokenization. We are now looking to extend this integration to support Apple Pay Web Push Provisioning, allowing cardholders to add eligible cards to Apple Wallet directly from our web application. We would appreciate guidance on: -The process for enrolling in Apple Business Register (if required) -Enabling Web Push Provisioning for an issuer profile Required entitlements or provisioning certificates Any additional onboarding steps specific to issuer-level Web provisioning We understand that Web Push Provisioning requires issuer-level enablement beyond standard Apple Pay on the Web, and we would like clarification on the correct path to activate this capability. Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Universal Link works directly but not via redirect on iOS 18 and above
Hi everyone, We're facing an issue with Universal Links on iOS 18 and above. The problem seems related to how iOS handles redirects before reaching a Universal Link. ✅ Working Link (direct): When we open this direct Universal Link, the app opens as expected: 👉 https://dl.punchh.com/deeplinks/logansroadhouse/ ❌ Not Working (redirected link): This marketing/tracking link eventually redirects to the above Universal Link, but on iOS 18+, it opens the App Store or a browser instead of the app: 👉 https://ip2.loyalty.logansroadhouse.com/ls/click?upn=... The same redirect link works fine on iOS 17 and below — it opens the app.

CKQuerySubscription on public database never triggers APNS push in Production environment
Hi everyone, I have a SwiftUI app using CKQuerySubscription on the public database for social notifications (friend requests, recommendations, etc.). Push notifications work perfectly in the Development environment but never fire in Production (TestFlight). Setup: iOS 26.4, Xcode 26, Swift 6 Container: public database, CKQuerySubscription with .firesOnRecordCreation 5 subscriptions verified via CKDatabase.allSubscriptions() registerForRemoteNotifications() called unconditionally on every launch Valid APNS device token received in didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken Push Notifications + Background Modes (Remote notifications) capabilities enabled What works: All 5 subscriptions create successfully in Production Records are saved and queryable (in-app CloudKit fetches return them immediately) APNS production push works — tested via Xcode Push Notifications Console with the same device token, notification appeared instantly Everything works perfectly in the Development environment (subscriptions fire, push arrives) What doesn't work: When a record is created that matches a subscription predicate, no APNS push is ever delivered in Production Tested with records created from the app (device to device) and from CloudKit Dashboard — neither triggers push Tried: fresh subscription IDs, minimal NotificationInfo (just alertBody), stripped shouldSendContentAvailable, created an APNs key, toggled Push capability in Xcode, re-deployed schema from dev to prod Additional finding: One of my record types (CompletionNotification) was returning BAD_REQUEST when creating a subscription in Production, despite working in Development. Re-deploying the development schema to production (which reported "no changes") fixed the subscription creation. This suggests the production environment had inconsistent subscription state for that record type, possibly from the type being auto-created by a record save before formal schema deployment. I suspect a similar issue may be affecting the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for all my record types — the subscriptions exist and predicates match, but the production environment isn't wiring them to APNS delivery. Subscription creation code (simplified): let subscription = CKQuerySubscription( recordType: "FriendRequest", predicate: NSPredicate(format: "receiverID == %@ AND status == %@", userID, "pending"), subscriptionID: "fr-sub-v3", options: [.firesOnRecordCreation] ) let info = CKSubscription.NotificationInfo() info.titleLocalizationKey = "Friend Request" info.alertLocalizationKey = "FRIEND_REQUEST_BODY" info.alertLocalizationArgs = ["senderUsername"] info.soundName = "default" info.shouldBadge = true info.desiredKeys = ["senderUsername", "senderID"] info.category = "FRIEND_REQUEST" subscription.notificationInfo = info try await database.save(subscription) Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way to "reset" the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for a production container? I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to resolve and get my push notifications back to normal. Many thanks, Dimitar - LaterRex

Scheduled events reach threshold almost immediately on iOS 26.2
Hi, we are developing a screen time management app. The app locks the device after it was used for specified amount of time. After updating to iOS 26.2, we noticed a huge issue: the events started to fire (reach the threshold) in the DeviceActivityMonitorExtension prematurely, almost immediately after scheduling. The only solution we've found is to delete the app and reboot the device, but the effect is not lasting long and this does not always help. Before updating to iOS 26, events also used to sometimes fire prematurely, but rescheduling the event often helped. Now the rescheduling happens almost every second and the events keep reaching the threshold prematurely. Can you suggest any workarounds for this issue?

Help with visionOS pushWindow issues requested
I first started using the SwiftUI pushWindow API in visionOS 26.2, and I've reported several bugs I discovered, listed below. Under certain circumstances, pushed window relationships may break, and this behavior affects all other apps, not just the app that caused the problem, until the next device reboot. In other cases, the system may crash and restart. (FB21287011) When a window presented with pushWindow is dismissed, its parent window reappears in the wrong location (FB21294645) Pinning a pushed window to a wall breaks pushWindow for all other apps on the system (FB21594646) pushWindow interacts poorly with the window bar close app option (FB21652261) If a window locked to a wall calls pushWindow, the original window becomes unlocked (FB21652271) If a window locked in place calls pushWindow and the pushed window is closed, the system freezes (FB21828413) pushWindow, UIApplication.open, and a dismissed immersive space result in multiple failures that require a device reboot (FB21840747) visionOS randomly foregrounds a backgrounded immersive space app with a pushed window's parent window visible instead of the pushed window (FB21864652) When a running app is selected in the visionOS home view, windows presented with pushWindow spontaneously close (FB21873482) Pushed windows use the fixed scaling behavior instead of the dynamic scaling behavior I'm posting the issues here in case this information is helpful to other developers. I'd also like to hear about other pushWindow issues developers have encountered, so I can watch out for them. Questions: I've discovered that some of the issues above can be partially worked around by applying the defaultLaunchBehavior and restorationBehavior scene modifiers to suppress window restoration and locking, which pushWindow appears to interact poorly with. Are there other recommended workarounds? I've observed that the Photos and Settings apps, which predate the pushWindow API, are not affected by the issues I reported. Are there other more reliable ways I could achieve the same behavior as pushWindow without relying on that API? I'd appreciate any guidance Apple engineers could provide. Thank you.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for more than 30 days
Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with the review process for my app on App Store Connect. My app has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over 30 days, and the review process has not started yet. Initially, I submitted the build on February 9, but the status remained “Waiting for Review” for a long time and never moved to “In Review.” Because of this, I canceled the submission and resubmitted the build on February 17. However, even after resubmitting, the app is still stuck in “Waiting for Review.” I also submitted a request for an expedited review, but unfortunately I have not received any response regarding that request either. Since the app status is still “Waiting for Review,” the Resolution Center option is not available yet, so I cannot contact the App Review team directly from there. I also attempted to contact Apple Developer Support but have not received a response yet. Has anyone experienced a similar situation where the app remained in “Waiting for Review” for this long? Any guidance or suggestions on how to move the review process forward would be greatly appreciated. App details: App ID: id6755089083 First Submission Date: February 9 Resubmission Date: February 17 Submission ID: bbad192f-768f-40f6-bcc3-47f30b5ecb6d Thank you for your help.

Button in ToolbarItem is not completely tapable on iOS 26
I have an icon button in toolbar but only the icon is triggering tap events while outside icon button gives tap feedback but event is not firing. Code: ToolbarItem(placement: .navigationBarTrailing) { Button(action: toggleBookmark) { Image(systemName: isBookmarked ? "bookmark.fill" : "bookmark") .resizable() .aspectRatio(0.8, contentMode: .fit) .frame(width: 20, height: 20) } } Here toggleBookmark function is only called if I click on Image but not if I click outside image but on the circular button that appears on iOS 26. See this screen recording.

Family Controls extensions stuck in "Submitted"
Hi, I’m requesting the Family Controls distribution capability for my app and its extensions. The main app bundle ID was approved within 1 day. However, I later realized the associated extensions (Shield Configuration, Device Activity Monitor, Device Activity Report) also require separate approval. I submitted those extension requests 4 days ago, and they are still in "Submitted" with no updates. This is currently blocking me from proceeding with TestFlight/App Store submission, since the extensions require the approved capability. Is this delay expected for extension bundle IDs? Thanks for your help.

Unable to test my apps, crashing with provisioning profile validation
Since around September (iOS 26 release), i'm unable to test my app normally. It says "internet connection is required to verify [my certificate id]", or just crashing. All terms and conditions accepted, everything is valid, certificates are OK. Reinstallation via xcode does not help. Removal of provisioning profile, generating new does not help. Revoking of certificate and generating new does for around week, then it happens again, but do i need to do it every week now? In logs i see the following: default amfid validation failed because of missing trust and/or authorization (0xe8008026) error amfid not valid: 0xe8008026: The provisioning profile requires online authorization. error amfid Unexpected MISError (0xe8008026): The provisioning profile requires online authorization. default +0300 amfid /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/5B8E560E-75B2-46EF-8606-02072D99E9CF//Frameworks/oss.dylib not valid: Error Domain=AppleMobileFileIntegrityError Code=-400 "An unknown error was encountered" UserInfo={NSURL=file:///private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/5B8E560E-75B2-46EF-8606-02072D99E9CF//Frameworks/oss.dylib, NSLocalizedDescription=An unknown error was encountered} default kernel AMFI: code signature validation failed. It looks like apple validation servers are not working, or is it iOS bug? All provisioning profiles are showing like "valid" in apple developer center. My network is not behind a proxy, connection is direct. If use EXACTLY the same app, signed with the same provisioning, same signature, on another test device, it works! When i reset current device to default settings and installing the EXACTLY same app after it, it works as well. Looking for a help from apple developer support

Content Filter Permission Prompt Not Appearing in TestFlight
I added a Content Filter to my app, and when running it in Xcode (Debug/Release), I get the expected permission prompt: "Would like to filter network content (Allow / Don't Allow)". However, when I install the app via TestFlight, this prompt doesn’t appear at all, and the feature doesn’t work. Is there a special configuration required for TestFlight? Has anyone encountered this issue before? Thanks!

Explicit dynamic loading of a framework in macOS - recommended approach?
I am working on a cross-platform application where, on Android and Windows, I explicitly load dynamic libraries at runtime (e.g., LoadLibrary/GetProcAddress on Windows and equivalent mechanisms on Android). This allows me to control when and how modules are loaded, and to transfer execution flow from the main executable into the dynamically loaded library. I want to follow a similar approach on macOS (and also iOS) and explicitly load a framework (instead of relying on implicit linking via import). From my exploration so far, I have come across the following options: Using Bundle (NSBundle) - Load framework using: let bundle = Bundle(path: path) try bundle?.load() Access functionality via NSPrincipalClass and @objc methods (class-based entry) Using dlopen + dlsym Load the framework binary and resolve symbols: let handle = dlopen(path, RTLD_NOW) let sym = dlsym(handle, "EntryPoint") Expose Swift functions using @_cdecl Using a hybrid approach (Bundle + dlsym) - Use Bundle for loading and dlsym for symbol access From what I understand: Bundle works well for class-based/plugin-style designs using the Objective-C runtime while dlopen/dlsym works at the symbol level and is closer to what I am doing on other platforms However, my requirement is specifically: Explicit runtime loading (not compile-time linking) Ability to transfer execution flow from the main executable into the dynamically loaded framework **What is the recommended approach on macOS for this kind of explicit dynamic loading, or is implicit loading the way to go? Also, would it differ for interactive and non-interactive apps? ** In what scenarios would Apple recommend using Bundle instead of dlopen? Is there any other methods best for this explicit loading of frameworks on Apple?

Enterprise Install for a TLS Inspection proxy
I’m working on a product that includes TLS inspection capability. TLS inspection using a local MitM requires installing a trusted root certificate which is then used to create masquerade certificates to intercept and forward TLS traffic through the proxy. For manual installation the end user is required to authenticate as an administrator to modify the trust settings on our internal CA’s root certificate. My question concerns the options for enterprise deployment using an MDM. We want the generated root certificate to be unique to each endpoint so that if a private key is compromised it can’t be used to intercept traffic anywhere else. We can install a “certificate trust” configuration profile from the MDM but this requires a base64 encoded string of the root certificate. In effect the MDM needs to obtain the certificate from the endpoint and then send it back in the form of a configuration profile. I’m not aware that MDMs like Jamf can be configured to do this directly so we’re looking for any other mechanism to have macOS trust a locally generated certificate via MDM based on some non endpoint-unique criteria? One option might be to use an external CA with a trusted certificate to sign an intermediate endpoint certificate but this creates a significant risk if the external trusted certificate were ever compromised. Is this a common industry practice? So my question remains is there a better way to trust our per endpoint root certificate via MDM without needing to install a unique per endpoint configuration profile?

AlarmKit leaves an empty zombie Live Activity in Dynamic Island after swipe-dismiss while unlocked
Hi, We are the developers of Morning Call (https://morningcall.info), and we believe we may have identified an AlarmKit / system UI bug on iPhone. We can reproduce the same behavior not only in our app, but also in Apple’s official AlarmKit sample app, which strongly suggests this is a framework or system-level issue rather than an app-specific bug. Demonstration Video of producing zombie Live Activity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZdF3oc8dVI Related Thread https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/812006 https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/817305 https://aninterestingwebsite.com/forums/thread/807335 Environment iPhone with Dynamic Island Alarm created using AlarmKit Device is unlocked when the alarm begins alerting Steps to reproduce Schedule an AlarmKit alarm. Wait for the alarm to alert while the device is unlocked. The alarm appears in Dynamic Island. Instead of tapping the intended stop or dismiss button, swipe the Dynamic Island presentation away. Expected result The alarm should be fully dismissed. The Live Activity should be removed. No empty UI should remain in Dynamic Island. Actual result The assigned AppIntent runs successfully. Our app code executes as expected. AlarmKit appears to stop the alarm correctly. However, an empty “zombie” Live Activity remains in Dynamic Island indefinitely. The user cannot clear it through normal interaction. Why this is a serious user-facing issue This is not just a cosmetic issue for us. From the user’s perspective, it looks like a Live Activity is permanently stuck in Dynamic Island. More importantly: Force-quitting the app does not remove it Deleting the app does not remove it In practice, many users conclude that our app has left a broken Live Activity running forever We receive repeated user complaints saying that the Live Activity “won’t go away” Because the remaining UI appears to be system-owned, users often do not realize that the only reliable recovery is to restart the phone. Most users do not discover that workaround on their own, so they instead assume the app is severely broken. Cases where the zombie state disappears Rebooting the phone Waiting for the next AlarmKit alert, then pressing the proper stop button on that alert Additional observations Inside our LiveActivityIntent, calling AlarmManager.shared.stop(id:) reports that the alarm has already been stopped by the system. We also tried inspecting Activity<AlarmAttributes<...>>.activities and calling end(..., dismissalPolicy: .immediate), but in this state no matching activity is exposed to the app. This suggests that the alarm itself has already been stopped, but the system-owned Live Activity UI is not being cleaned up correctly after the swipe-dismiss path. Why this does not appear to be an app logic issue The intent is invoked successfully. The alarm stop path is reached. The alarm is already considered stopped by the system. The remaining UI appears to be system-owned. The stuck UI persists even after our own cleanup logic has run. The stuck UI also survives app force-quit and app deletion.

Best practice for centralizing SwiftData query logic and actions in an @Observable manager?
I'm building a SwiftUI app with SwiftData and want to centralize both query logic and related actions in a manager class. For example, let's say I have a reading app where I need to track the currently reading book across multiple views. What I want to achieve: @Observable class ReadingManager { let modelContext: ModelContext // Ideally, I'd love to do this: @Query(filter: #Predicate<Book> { $0.isCurrentlyReading }) var currentBooks: [Book] // ❌ But @Query doesn't work here var currentBook: Book? { currentBooks.first } func startReading(_ book: Book) { // Stop current book if any if let current = currentBook { current.isCurrentlyReading = false } book.isCurrentlyReading = true try? modelContext.save() } func stopReading() { currentBook?.isCurrentlyReading = false try? modelContext.save() } } // Then use it cleanly in any view: struct BookRow: View { @Environment(ReadingManager.self) var manager let book: Book var body: some View { Text(book.title) Button("Start Reading") { manager.startReading(book) } if manager.currentBook == book { Text("Currently Reading") } } } The problem is @Query only works in SwiftUI views. Without the manager, I'd need to duplicate the same query in every view just to call these common actions. Is there a recommended pattern for this? Or should I just accept query duplication across views as the intended SwiftUI/SwiftData approach?

Sheet background in share extension ignores Liquid Glass effect in iOS 26/Xcode 26
I’m developing a share extension for iOS 26 with Xcode 26. When the extension’s sheet appears, it always shows a full white background, even though iOS 26 introduces a new “Liquid Glass” effect for partial sheets. Expected: The sheet background should use the iOS 26 glassmorphism effect as seen in full apps. Actual behavior: Custom sheets in my app get the glass effect, but the native system sheet in the share extension always opens as plain white. Steps to reproduce: Create a share extension using UIKit Present any UIViewController as the main view Set modalPresentationStyle = .pageSheet (or leave as default) Observe solid white background, not glassmorphism Sample code: swift override func viewDidLoad() { super.viewDidLoad() view.backgroundColor = .clear preferredContentSize = CGSize(width: UIScreen.main.bounds.width, height: 300) } Troubleshooting attempted: Tried adding UIVisualEffectView with system blur/materials Removed all custom backgrounds Set modalPresentationStyle explicitly Questions: Is it possible to enable or force the Liquid Glass effect in share extensions on iOS 26? Is this a limitation by design or a potential bug? Any workaround to make extension sheet backgrounds match system glass appearance?

Does the OS has dedicated volume levels for each AVAudioSessionCategory.
We have an VoiP application, our application can be configured to amplify the PCM samples before feeding it to the Player to achieve volume gain at the receiver. In order to support this, We follow as below. If User has configured this Gain Settings within application, Application applies the amplification for the samples to introduce the gain. Application will also set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback Provided the User has chosen the output to Speaker. This settings was working for us but we see there is a difference in behaviour w.r.t Volume Level System Settings between OS 26.3.1 and OS 26.4 When user has chosen earpiece as Output, then we will set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayAndRecord. User would have set the volume level to minimum. When user will change the output to Speaker, then we will set the AVAudioSessionCategory to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback. The expectation is, the volume level should be of AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback what was set earlier instead we are seeing the volume level stays as minimum which was set to AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayAndRecord Could you please explain about this inconsistency w.r.t Volume level.

Apple Developer Program - Payment button freezes during enrollment - Enrollment ID: AJ78LF239A
Hi Apple Developer Support Team, I need urgent assistance with my Apple Developer Program enrollment. My details: Enrollment ID: AJ78LF239A Support Case: 102840241902 (opened 4 days ago, no response yet) Issue: I have completed all enrollment steps and entered my payment information correctly. When I click the "Continue" button to finalize the payment, the page freezes completely — no error message, no confirmation, nothing happens. Steps already taken: Confirmed with my bank that the card supports international purchases Removed and re-added the card in Apple ID settings Tried multiple times on different days and browsers Sent email to Apple Developer support (devprograms) Opened support case 102840241902 with no response This is blocking my app from being published on the App Store. I kindly request that someone manually process the payment or provide an alternative method to complete enrollment. Thank you.

App stuck in "Waiting for Review" for over two weeks
Hello, I submitted my app for review for the first time about two weeks ago and it is still stuck in "Waiting for Review" with no update. I haven't received any feedback yet and I'm not sure if this kind of delay is normal or if something might be wrong. Has anyone experienced something similar? What did you do in this situation? Thanks.
