How should playback readiness be determined with AVSampleBufferAudioRenderer when using AirPlay?
I’m implementing a custom playback pipeline using AVSampleBufferAudioRenderer together with AVSampleBufferRenderSynchronizer. hasSufficientMediaDataForReliablePlaybackStart appears to be the intended signal for determining when enough media has been queued to start playback. For local playback, this works well in practice — the property becomes true after a reasonable amount of media is enqueued. However, when the output route is AirPlay, using this property becomes difficult: AirPlay requires significantly more buffered media before the renderer reports sufficient data. The required preroll amount is much larger than for local playback. For short assets, it is possible to enqueue the entire audio track and still never observe hasSufficientMediaDataForReliablePlaybackStart == true. In that situation there is no more media data to enqueue, but the renderer still reports that playback is not ready. Given this behavior, what is the recommended way to determine playback readiness when using AVSampleBufferAudioRenderer with AirPlay?

RealityKit equivalent of ARGeoAnchor?
In ARKit there is ARGeoAnchor, which lets you anchor content using latitude and longitude so objects stay fixed to a real-world location. Is there an equivalent feature in RealityKit? I want to place points in the world and make sure they don't move or drift after placement. If RealityKit doesn't support this directly, what is the recommended approach?

Cross-domain issue in wkwebview
Subject: Cross-Domain Access Behaviour in WKWebView – Clarification Required Description: We are facing a cross-domain issue in our iOS application where WKWebView loads content from one domain and attempts to access resources/data from another domain. Current Setup: App Platform: iOS WebView: WKWebView iOS Version: 26 Primary Domain: *.franconnectqa.net Data/Analytics Domain: analytics.franconnectdev.net SSL: Valid certificates configured ATS: Enabled Issue: When WKWebView loads content from franconnectqa.net, it attempts to access resources or analytics from analytics.franconnectdev.net, resulting in cross-domain restrictions. We would like to understand: Does WKWebView support cross-domain resource access by default? Are there any configuration settings that allow controlled cross-domain access? Are there known limitations regarding cookies, local storage, or session sharing across domains? Does WKWebView enforce additional restrictions beyond standard browser CORS policies? Are there recommended best practices for handling cross-domain scenarios in WKWebView? Expected Behavior: We want to determine whether: Cross-domain access is supported under certain configurations, OR The recommended approach is to align all resources under the same domain. Kindly provide guidance on the supported architecture and any configuration recommendations.

Scrolling to row with a pinned header view
Hi, I have a list with section headers as pinned views. I'm trying to programmatically scroll to a view inside a section using a proxy.scrollTo(id, anchor: .top). I was expecting the view to be aligned to the top of the scroll view but after the pinned header. Instead, it's aligned to the top of the scroll view overlapping with the header, hiding most of the row. Here is a code snippet to reproduce: import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { ScrollViewReader { proxy in ScrollView { LazyVStack( pinnedViews: .sectionHeaders ){ ForEach(1...10, id: \.self) { count1 in Section(content: { Text("First row") .id("\(count1), row1") Text("second row") Text("third row") }, header: { Text("Section \(count1)").font(.title) .background(.red) }) } } } .safeAreaInset(edge: .bottom) { Button("Tap me") { proxy.scrollTo("3, row1", anchor: .top) } .padding() } } } } Any idea how this could be solved?

Looking for TestFlight feedback on Steady, an app for impulse interruption
Hi everyone, I’m testing an iPhone app called Steady through TestFlight and would love honest feedback. Steady is built for the moment right before someone acts on an urge they may regret. The core idea is to create a short pause before action, then let the user log what happened so they can spot patterns over time. Use cases could be things like sending a text you shouldn’t, reacting too fast, opening something you wanted to avoid, or other impulsive moments. I’m mainly looking for feedback on three things: Does the concept feel useful in real life? Is the flow clear or confusing? What feels unnecessary or missing? iPadOS 26: How to prevent new scene creation when sharing a file to my app?
Many different types of files can be opened in my app. If a user, for example, views a file in the Files app and chooses to share the file, they can select my app from the list of options. My app is then given a chance to handle the file as needed. This works just fine in most cases. However, on iPadOS 26, if the user has set the iPad's Multitasking to either Windowed Apps or Stage Manager, then any time they choose to share a file with my app, a new scene (and window) is created. The user is usually not even aware that more and more windows/scenes are being created. It's only after they long-press on the app icon and select Show All Windows (or look under the Open Windows section) do they see far more windows than expected. Under iPadOS 17, 18, or with 26 set to Full Screen Apps, sharing a file to my app simply uses an existing scene, even if the user has explicitly created multiple scenes. A new scene is never created when sharing a file to my app unless there is no existing scene. Due to the nature of my app, even if the user has setup the iPad with Windowed App or Stage Manager under iPadOS 26, it would be far better if a new scene was not created and an existing scene was used. In other words, have it behave just as it does under iPadOS 17 or 18, or with 26 set as Full Screen Apps. Is there any way to configure an app to always use an existing scene when a file is shared with the app? My app is written with UIKit. Under iPadOS 26 with multitasking set to Windowed Apps or Stage Manager, sharing a file with my app results in the UIApplicationDelegate method application(_:configurationForConnecting:options:) being called. At this point a new scene is already in the process of being created. I don't see anything that can be set in the Info.plist. I do not see any relevant UIApplicationDelegate methods. Am I missing something or is this not possible?

Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Apple Pay on the Web Merchant Issues
Hi, To ensure the issue is not caused by an error within your app or web service request, please review the Apple Pay Merchant Integration Guide. Additionally, please review the following technotes on Apple Pay: TN3173: Troubleshooting issues with your Apple Pay merchant identifier configuration TN3174: Diagnosing issues with the Apple Pay payment sheet on your website TN3175: Diagnosing issues with displaying the Apple Pay button on your website TN3176: Troubleshooting Apple Pay payment processing issues TN3206: Updating Apple Pay certificates If the resources above don’t help identify the cause of the error, please provide more information about your app or web services to get started. To prevent sending sensitive credentials in plain text, create a report in Feedback Assistant to share the details requested below. Additionally, if the error is something we need to investigate further, the appropriate engineering teams also have access to the same information and can communicate with you directly within Feedback Assistant for more information, as needed. Please follow the instructions below to submit your report. For issues occurring with your native app or web service, perform the following steps: Install the Apple Pay profile on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2. Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video. Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS. Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The serial number of the device. For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > Serial Number (tap and hold to copy). For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > Serial Number. The SEID (Secure Element Identifier) of the device, represented as a HEX encoded string. For iOS and watchOS: open Settings > General > About > SEID (tap and hold to copy). For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > System Report > NVMExpress > Serial Number. The sysdiagnose gathered after reproducing the issue. The timestamp of when the issue was reproduced. Screenshots or videos of errors and unexpected behaviors (optional). Important: From the logs gathered above, you should be able to determine the cause of the failure from PassbookUIService, PassKit or PassKitCore, and by filtering for your SEID or merchant domain in the Safari Web Inspector. See Inspecting Safari on macOS to learn more. Submitting your feedback Before you submit to Feedback Assistant, please confirm the requested information above is included in your feedback. Failure to provide the requested information will only delay my investigation into the reported issue within your Apple Pay website. After your submission to Feedback Assistant is complete, please respond in your existing Developer Forums post with the Feedback ID. Once received, I can begin my investigation and determine if this issue is caused by an error within your web implementation, a configuration issue within your developer account, or an underlying system bug. Dock Grid View folder jumps unexpectedly after opening with "Dock Magnification" enabled in Tahoe 26.4 RC
This is a generic, non-developer related macOS issue, but reporting here as well so it has more visibility since. It is an embarrassing bug that has not been fixed since the earliest versions of macOS Tahoe. Issue description: When Dock Magnification is enabled, the Dock Folder abruptly jumps approx. 10-15pixels down as the user moves the cursor after a brief pause). Video about the issue (see the last second of the small video and observe the entire grid popup jump abruptly): https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-tahoe-26-4-release-candidate-now-available.2479503/post-34494643 Related FB: FB20761846 (opened in October, 2025) The issue is easily reproducible and confirmed by many. The lack of this issue being fixed for so long is indicative in the eyes of many of the lack of attention to details in macOS Tahoe's Glass interface.

Unable to change codesign page size during xcodebuild export
We've noticed, that size of our ipa started to vary from time to time. We've found that all the difference was in the LC_CODE_SIGNATURE command under the _LINKEDIT segment of binary. The main reason of that change was the different number of hash slots due to different value of page size: 4096 on macOS SEQUOIA and 16384 on macOS TAHOE. So the size of the final binary was dependent on the machine, it was produced on. I didn't find out any information on why the default page size changed on TAHOE. Apple’s codesign supports a --pagesize argument. For regular builds that setting can be passed via OTHER_CODE_SIGN_FLAGS=--pagesize 16384. But it seems that xcodebuild export ...` completely ignores it: i've tried to pass invalid size (not the power of two), and the export still succeded. I've also managed to get xcodebuild logs via log stream --style compact --predicate 'process == "xcodebuild" OR process == "codesign"' --level trace They have no occurrences of --pagesize: 2026-03-24 13:43:27.236 Df xcodebuild[93993:a08c53] [IDEDistributionPipeline:verbose] invoking codesign: <NSConcreteTask: 0x8a1b21bd0; launchPath='/usr/bin/codesign', arguments='( "-f", "-s", 8C38C4A2CB0388A3DB6BAEFE438F20E044EE6CB2, "--entitlements", "/var/folders/w_/5t00sclx2vlcm4_fvly7wvh00000gn/T/XcodeDistPipeline.~~~T3Dcdf/entitlements~~~c2srXx", "--preserve-metadata=identifier,flags,runtime,launch-constraints,library-constraints", "--generate-entitlement-der", "--strip-disallowed-xattrs", "-vvv", "/var/folders/w_/5t00sclx2vlcm4_fvly7wvh00000gn/T/XcodeDistPipeline.~~~T3Dcdf/Root/Payload/App.app/Frameworks/FLEXWrapper.framework" )'> So here I have some questions: How is the default page size selected? Why the default page size may change between SEQUOIA and TAHOE? How to provide page size to xcodebuild's export or it's a bug that it doesn't look at the value of OTHER_CODE_SIGN_FLAGS?

URGENT: No Account Holder Access – Cannot Accept Agreement – Production Blocked
We are facing a critical issue with our Apple Developer account that is currently blocking app releases. Context: Organization account (Apple Developer Program) Account Holder: Ben Kunkel Apple Business Manager integrated with Okta (SCIM) Issue: The original Account Holder was deleted from Apple Business Manager and re-created via SCIM The recreated account now shows as “Staff” (Source: Custom Sync) and cannot be modified In Apple Developer, Ben is still listed as Account Holder but does not see any options to accept agreements or manage the account A transfer request was initiated to me before he left the company, but I am unable to complete identity verification (“Invalid Submission” error) Result: No active Account Holder can take action Unable to accept the updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement App submissions and updates are blocked (production impact) This appears to be a cross-system identity mismatch between Apple Business Manager and Apple Developer due to SCIM provisioning. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any guidance on resolving this or getting it escalated internally would be greatly appreciated. We already have open cases with Apple Support, but progress has been slow. Thanks in advance.

Is there a reliable way to check pending agreement status for multiple App Store Connect accounts via API?
Hey everyone, I'm managing CI/CD pipelines for around 45 iOS apps across different Apple Developer accounts. One recurring pain point is blocked pipelines due to unsigned agreements. Things like the Paid Applications Agreement and the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. I built an internal dashboard to flag these before they block a release, but I'm hitting a wall with detection accuracy. Since there's no dedicated endpoint for agreement status, I'm running three probes per account and checking for 403 FORBIDDEN.REQUIRED_AGREEMENTS_MISSING_OR_EXPIRED: GET /v1/agreements GET /v1/bundleIds?filter[identifier]={bundleId}&filter[platform]=IOS GET /v1/certificates?limit=1 Case 1 : Works perfectly. Account has "Apple Developer Program License Agreement has been updated and needs to be reviewed" : All three endpoint return 403 (In this case, the step 1 is enough) # Step 1 /v1/agreements → HTTP 403 ⛔ BLOCKED # Step 2 /v1/bundleIds → HTTP 403 ⛔ BLOCKED # Step 3 /v1/certificates → HTTP 403 ⛔ BLOCKED # [Step 1 body] { "errors": [ { "id": "TXF6QUVS6OY66YVUNINVLKXZFA", "status": "403", "code": "FORBIDDEN.REQUIRED_AGREEMENTS_MISSING_OR_EXPIRED", "title": "A required agreement is missing or has expired.", "detail": "This request requires an in-effect agreement that has not been signed or has expired.", "links": { "see": "/business" } } ] } # [Step 2 body] { "errors": [ { "id": "MTDI5P37UTYQOOVJSMXCWUK42U", "status": "403", "code": "FORBIDDEN.REQUIRED_AGREEMENTS_MISSING_OR_EXPIRED", "title": "A required agreement is missing or has expired.", "detail": "This request requires an in-effect agreement that has not been signed or has expired.", "links": { "see": "/business" } } ] } # [Step 3 body] { "errors": [ { "id": "GI6EN2CMBFJIJJZM547LSW66KY", "status": "403", "code": "FORBIDDEN.REQUIRED_AGREEMENTS_MISSING_OR_EXPIRED", "title": "A required agreement is missing or has expired.", "detail": "This request requires an in-effect agreement that has not been signed or has expired.", "links": { "see": "/business" } } ] } Case 2 : Not detected. Different account, same message in App Store Connect UI. But v1/agreements endpoint return 404 while other 2 steps return 200 # Step 1 /v1/agreements → HTTP 404 ➖ 404 # Step 2 /v1/bundleIds → HTTP 200 ✅ OK # Step 3 /v1/certificates → HTTP 200 ✅ OK # [Step 1 body] { "errors": [ { "id": "37459578-8167-449c-ad22-e0ffa392df2d", "status": "404", "code": "NOT_FOUND", "title": "The specified resource does not exist", "detail": "The path provided does not match a defined resource type." } ] } # [Step 2 body] { "data": [ { "type": "bundleIds", "id": "xxx", "attributes": { "identifier": "xxx" }, "links": { "self": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/bundleIds/[xxx]" } } ], "links": { "self": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/bundleIds?fields%5BbundleIds%5D=identifier&filter%5Bplatform%5D=IOS&filter%5Bidentifier%5D=[xxx]&limit=1" }, "meta": { "paging": { "total": 1, "limit": 1 } } } # [Step 3 body] { "data": [ { "type": "certificates", "id": "xxx", "attributes": { "serialNumber": "xxx", "expirationDate": "2026-07-03T04:47:09.000+00:00", "certificateType": "DISTRIBUTION" }, "links": { "self": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/certificates/[xxx]" } } ], "links": { "self": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/certificates?fields%5Bcertificates%5D=serialNumber%2CcertificateType%2CexpirationDate&limit=1", "next": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/certificates?fields%5Bcertificates%5D=serialNumber%2CcertificateType%2CexpirationDate&cursor=[xxx]&limit=1" }, "meta": { "paging": { "total": 4, "limit": 1 } } } Same agreement type, same UI warning, completely different API behaviour. My best guess is Apple enforces the agreement deadline progressively. The 403 gate only kicks in once the deadline is crossed or the account reaches a certain state, while the UI warning shows much earlier. What I'm looking for, Is there a supported API endpoint that reflects pending agreement status regardless of enforcement state? Or is the 403 gate genuinely the only signal available and some pending agreements just won't show up until Apple enforces them? Happy to hear "there's no API for this" if that's the reality. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I accept that limitation. Thanks.

Charged twice for Developer Program enrollment, account still pending
Hello everyone, I’m running into an issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment and hoping someone here or an Apple staff member can point me in the right direction. I tried to pay the annual fee, but my account status wasn't updating. Thinking the transaction had failed, I tried to make the payment a second time a few days later. Because of this, my credit card was actually charged twice. The charges appear on my bank statement as: February 19 (R$ 543.16 BRL) February 23 (R$ 536.70 BRL) Despite both payments clearing on my end, it is now March 16 and my account still shows as pending. My enrollment has not been approved yet. Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? What is the best way to get Apple to activate the account using one of these payments and issue a refund for the duplicate charge? I have all the bank statements ready to show support, but the process has been completely stuck. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Gesture & SimultaneousGesture interfere with ScrollView behaviour.
I have faced a problem while I was trying to implement a reorder drag & drop view. I found that when I add any kind of .gesture or .simultaneousGesture, a ScrollView's scrolling behavior wasn't working properly (does not scroll at all). ScrollView(.vertical, showsIndicators: false) { ForEach($items) { $item in EditorCard(stepDetails: item) .simultaneousGesture( customCombinedGesture(item) ) } } This ScrollView worked fine with .onLongPressGesture(), however, I wanted to use custom gestures sequences.

Scrolling to row with a pinned header view

I was expecting the view to be aligned to the top of the scroll view but after the pinned header.

I am working on offline license support for FairPlay. I am trying to identify offline vs. live streaming requests. How do I do that? Is there any way to identify the request type (offline or streaming) from SPC?

XPC is the preferred inter-process communication (IPC) mechanism on Apple platforms. For more about the File Provider side of this, see the NSFileProviderServiceSource protocol. For more about the client side, see the NSFileProviderService class. An app can move part of its code into a helper extension and talk to it using XPC. See Creating enhanced security helper extensions. Alternative browser engines can do a similar thing. See BrowserEngineKit for more about this. Apps with embedded extensions can use XPC via ExtensionFoundation.

Thanks.

Developer Program enrolment double charge
Followed Apple's instructions and signed up via the iOS developer app. Received confirmation email of purchase. However I can 't complete enrolment because the developer account and the apple account haven't synced, so the developer account is trying to get me to "finish payment". Anyone else have this issue?
