FromToByAnimation triggers availableAnimations not the single bone animation
So, I was trying to animate a single bone using FromToByAnimation, but when I start the animation, the model instead does the full body animation stored in the availableAnimations. If I don't run testAnimation nothing happens. If I run testAnimation I see the same animation as If I had called entity.playAnimation(entity.availableAnimations[0],..) here's the full code I use to animate a single bone: func testAnimation() { guard let jawAnim = jawAnimation(mouthOpen: 0.4) else { print("Failed to create jawAnim") return } guard let creature, let animResource = try? AnimationResource.generate(with: jawAnim) else { return } let controller = creature.playAnimation(animResource, transitionDuration: 0.02, startsPaused: false) print("controller: \(controller)") } func jawAnimation(mouthOpen: Float) -> FromToByAnimation<JointTransforms>? { guard let basePose else { return nil } guard let index = basePose.jointNames.firstIndex(of: jawBoneName) else { print("Target joint \(self.jawBoneName) not found in default pose joint names") return nil } let fromTransforms = basePose.jointTransforms let baseJawTransform = fromTransforms[index] let maxAngle: Float = 40 let angle: Float = maxAngle * mouthOpen * (.pi / 180) let extraRot = simd_quatf(angle: angle, axis: simd_float3(x: 0, y: 0, z: 1)) var toTransforms = basePose.jointTransforms toTransforms[index] = Transform( scale: baseJawTransform.scale * 2, rotation: baseJawTransform.rotation * extraRot, translation: baseJawTransform.translation ) let fromToBy = FromToByAnimation<JointTransforms>( jointNames: basePose.jointNames, name: "jaw-anim", from: fromTransforms, to: toTransforms, duration: 0.1, bindTarget: .jointTransforms, repeatMode: .none, ) return fromToBy } PS: I can confirm that I can set this bone to a specific position if I use guard let index = newPose.jointNames.firstIndex(of: boneName) ... let baseTransform = basePose.jointTransforms[index] newPose.jointTransforms[index] = Transform( scale: baseTransform.scale, rotation: baseTransform.rotation * extraRot, translation: baseTransform.translation ) skeletalComponent.poses.default = newPose creatureMeshEntity.components.set(skeletalComponent) This works for manually setting the bone position, so the jawBoneName and the joint-transformation can't be that wrong.

How to Renew visionOS Enterprise API Entitlements?
How can I renew visionOS Enterprise API? I've spent so much time contacting Apple Developer Support. They said they don't know the renewal process either and are "checking with the internal operations team" - but it's been 2 months with no updates. The official documentation (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/visionOS/building-spatial-experiences-for-business-apps-with-enterprise-apis#Request-the-entitlements) says: "The license file comes with an expiration date, so you need to renew it before then to ensure your entitlements continue to function." But it doesn't explain HOW to renew. When I asked Apple Support about this, they told me: "After Apple approves your app for one or more entitlements, you receive a license file, along with additional instructions." But I never received any instructions when I was first approved, and I still don't know how to renew. There's also no direct way to contact the Enterprise API team. Now my visionOS Enterprise API license has been expired for 2 months. I submitted a renewal request, but I still haven't heard anything back. Is it normal to take more than 2 months for approval? Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful. Thanks!

visionOS Widget Bug
When I was developing the visionOS 26beta Widget, I found that it could not work normally when the real vision OS was running, and an error would appear. Please adopt container background api It is worth mentioning that this problem does not occur on the visionOS virtual machine. Does anyone know what the reason and solution are, or whether this is a visionOS error that needs Feedback? Thank you!

spatial-backdrop feature available yet?
In WWDC25 session What’s new for the spatial web, the presenter showed creating an immersive environment for a web page by adding to the page's HEAD section <link rel="spatial-backdrop" href="office.usdz" environmentmap="lighting.hdr"> My first attempt failed, and I am trying to track down why. Before I search all the potential failure paths, I wanted to ask the community, Is this feature available in the latest visionOS 26 beta? I haven't seen anyone talk about their use of the feature yet.

Extending or disabling the 1.5-meter boundary in ImmersiveSpace
I’m currently developing an app for visionOS and working with an ImmersiveSpace. I’ve noticed that the system automatically enforces a safety boundary at approximately 1.5 meters. If the user moves beyond this limit, the content fades out or the system reverts to Passthrough. Is there any way to disable this boundary or extend its radius? This app is currently in the experimental/verification phase, and it is intended to be run on a Vision Pro in Developer Mode. Since the primary goal is to test large-scale spatial interactions during development, I am looking for any way—including developer-specific settings or configurations—to bypass or expand this limit. If there isn't a direct API to change the boundary size, are there any recommended workarounds for testing movement within large environments? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Tapping once with both hands only works sometimes in visionOS
Hello! I have an iOS app where I am looking into support for visionOS. I have a whole bunch of gestures set up using UIGestureRecognizer and so far most of them work great in visionOS! But I do see something odd that I am not sure can be fixed on my end. I have a UITapGestureRecognizer which is set up with numberOfTouchesRequired = 2 which I am assuming translates in visionOS to when you tap your thumb and index finger on both hands. When I tap with both hands sometimes this tap gesture gets kicked off and other times it doesn't and it says it only received one touch when it should be two. Interestingly, I see this behavior in Apple Maps where tapping once with both hands should zoom out the map, which only works sometimes. Can anyone explain this or am I missing something?

Unity PolySpatial – Live handheld camera feed of graspable objects not rendering on Vision Pro
I am developing a Unity application for the Apple Vision Pro using PolySpatial and RealityKit integration. The goal is to create a graspable object (for example, a handheld cube) that includes a secondary camera. When the user grabs and moves the object, the secondary camera should render its view to a RenderTexture, which is displayed on a quad attached to the object, simulating a live camera screen. In the Unity Editor, this setup works correctly. The RenderTexture updates in real time, and the quad displays the camera’s view as expected. However, when building and running the application on the Vision Pro, the quad only displays the clear background color of the secondary camera. No scene content appears. The graspable interaction itself works fine: the object can be grabbed and moved as intended. Steps I have taken: Created a new layer (CameraFeed) and assigned the relevant objects to it. Set the secondary camera’s culling mask to render only the CameraFeed layer. Assigned the RenderTexture as the camera’s target texture. Applied the RenderTexture to an Unlit/Texture material on a quad. Confirmed the camera is active and correctly positioned relative to the object. From my research, it appears that once objects are managed by RealityKit through PolySpatial (for example, made graspable), they are no longer rendered through Unity's normal camera pipeline. Only the main XR camera (managed by RealityKit) seems able to see these objects. Secondary Unity cameras cannot render RealityKit-synced content to a RenderTexture. If this is correct, it seems there is currently no way to implement a true live secondary camera feed showing graspable objects on Vision Pro using Unity PolySpatial. My questions are: Is there any official way to enable multiple camera rendering of RealityKit-managed objects through PolySpatial? Are there known workarounds to simulate a live camera feed that still allows objects to be grabbed? Has anyone found alternative design patterns or methods for this kind of interaction? Environment: Unity 6.0 , PolySpatial 2.2.4, Apple Vision OS XR 2.2.4 Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How to mix Animation and IKRig in RealityKit
I want an AR character to be able to look at a position while still playing the characters animation. So far, I managed to manually adjust a single bone rotation using skeletalComponent.poses.default = Transform( scale: baseTransform.scale, rotation: lookAtRotation, translation: baseTransform.translation ) which I run at every rendering update, while a full body animation is running. But of course, hardcoding single joints to point into a direction (in my case the head) does not look as nice, as if I were to run some inverse cinematic that includes, hips + neck + head joints. I found some good IKRig code in Composing interactive 3D content with RealityKit and Reality Composer Pro. But when I try to adjust rigs while animations are playing, the animations are usually winning over the IKRig changes to the mesh.

Cannot reassign worldTracking / planeDetection providers in my PlacementManager when switching environments
Environment Xcode: 16.2 VisionOS SDK 2.4 Swift 6.1 Targets: Apple Vision Pro (immersive space) Frameworks: ARKit, RealityKit, SwiftUI What I’m Trying to Do I have a view-model class PlacementManager that holds two AR providers: private var worldTracking: WorldTrackingProvider private var planeDetection: PlaneDetectionProvider I want to dynamically replace these providers in a setEnvironment(_:) method (so I can save/clear a JSON scene and restart ARKit). What’s Happening If I declare them as : private let worldTracking = WorldTrackingProvider() private let planeDetection = PlaneDetectionProvider() I get compile-errors when I later do: self.worldTracking = newWorldTracking // Cannot assign to property: 'worldTracking' is a 'let' constant If I change them to un-initialized vars: private var worldTracking: WorldTrackingProvider private var planeDetection: PlaneDetectionProvider then in my init() I get: self used in property access 'worldTracking' before all stored properties are initialized Code snipet @Observable final class PlacementManager : ObservableObject { private var worldTracking: WorldTrackingProvider private var planeDetection: PlaneDetectionProvider // … other props … @MainActor init() { // error: self.worldTracking used before init… planeAnchorHandler = PlaneAnchorHandler(rootEntity: root) persistenceManager = PersistenceManager( worldTracking: worldTracking, rootEntity: root ) // … } @MainActor func setEnvironment(env: Environnement) async { let newWorldTracking = WorldTrackingProvider() let newPlaneDetection = PlaneDetectionProvider() try await appState!.arkitSession.run( [ newWorldTracking, newPlaneDetection ] ) self.worldTracking = newWorldTracking self.planeDetection = newPlaneDetection // … } } What I’ve Tried Giving them default values at declaration (= WorldTrackingProvider()) Initializing them at the top of init() before any use Passing the new providers into arkitSession.run(...) My Question What is the recommended Swift-style pattern to declare and reassign these ARKit provider properties so that: They’re fully initialized before use in init(), and I can swap them out later in setEnvironment(...) without compiler errors? Any pointers (or links to forum threads / docs) would be greatly appreciated!

How to visualize a point cloud in RealityKit on visionOS?
I would like to visualize a point cloud taken from a lidar. Assuming I can get the XYZ values of every point (of which there may be hundreds or thousands), what is the most efficient way for me to create a point cloud using this information?

Volumetric Maps in VisionOS
At the moment the map kit APls only support non-volumetric maps (i.e. in a window or in a volume, but on a 2D surface). Is support for 3D volumetric maps in VisionOS in the works? And if so when can we expect it to be available?

RealityView content.add Called Twice Automatically
I’m working with RealityView in visionOS and noticed that the content closure seems to run twice, causing content.add to be called twice automatically. This results in duplicate entities being added to the scene unless I manually check for duplicates. How can I fix that? Thanks.
