My app has been published by 2 months now I still I cant get Universal Links to work. I checked a lot of docs as well as videos about setting up universal links. Everyone with clear steps: Add the well-known json file to the server. Already validated by AASA web validator. Add the Associated domain on project capabilities, with the Web page root only. Eg: applinks:example:com. Install the app and trying clicking a link from notepad. Or instead make a long press to deploy contextual menu to see if my app is on the selectable options to open the link. My app is not been open in any of my attempts and the console always trying to use safari. I had a couple of screenshots of my testing. I really need help with this.

When we embed some of the youtube videos are unable to load in the Mobile app but at the same time it works in Website. I need to allow it in both places. I have tried both embed and native sdk for youtube in iOS.

So I have web Augmented Reality apps hosted on AWS S3. It worked fine for a month, but as soon as the IOS 18.4 update was installed they stopped working. It works on every other device and IOS versions. The icon (new file downloaded) inside the search bar on Safari does not display after downloading a file. To update the search bar and display the icon you have to open the search bar and then close it again to see that a new file was downloaded.

For this I use the method class func dispatchMessage( withName messageName: String, toExtensionWithIdentifier identifier: String, userInfo: [String : Any]? = nil ) async throws of the SFSafariApplication class. If the site is opened in Safari in normal mode, everything works as expected. However, if the site is "docked", the messages are not transmitted to this "Web App".

With most recent Safari update, our page started having some of it's core functionality broken while users access it on Private mode due to Fingerprinting protection. The issue is that the code that breaks is our first-party code and I want understand why it is breaking and how to properly fix it. One thing we discovered was that a service of ours that uses the same code base doesn't have these issues and current assumption is that their page bundles are served on the same domain as the actual page request, while ours is coming from a different one. The other assumption was that the domain which we use for serving the bundles of the page are set on the domain that is flagged as tracking domain. Is there some documentation on how Safari decides which code is allowed reading user inputs and which isn't and what is the appropriate approach to fix this issue as it would be possible that these changes get release as default in the future?

I have "http://localhost:8080" showing the index page I've created but php is not handled though an extension is running. Haven't even tried mySQL yet but since there is no reference to it in https.conf the same problem will exist. Homebrew extension running also. https.conf: #PHP was deprecated in macOS 11 and removed from macOS 12 #LoadModule php7_module libexec/apache2/libphp7.so There are no php.so files on my machine and again no mention of mysql What should I enter in http.conf to activate these functionalities? However, this error is not shown on the frontend, leaving users unaware of why the form silently fails or stalls. Steps to Reproduce Go to the Apple ID account creation page (https://appleid.apple.com/account). Enter valid account details where the password includes the user's first or last name (e.g., Johnacb2331!l for a user named John Doe). Complete all fields, including phone number verification and captcha. Submit the form and monitor the Network tab in your browser’s DevTools. Observe that the form appears to hang, loop, or silently fail. Open the PUT request to /account — the response JSON will contain the relevant validation error (e.g., “Password cannot contain your name”), but the user is not shown this. Expected Behavior The password validation error (e.g., containing the user’s name) should be immediately displayed in the UI next to the password field to inform the user and allow for correction. Actual Behavior No error is shown in the UI. The form appears to fail silently, leaving the user confused. The actual reason for failure is only visible through browser developer tools in the PUT response payload. This is a really strange issue on iOS Safari. Under certain conditions a basic input element will not be focusable or show the on screen keyboard. I can reproduce the issue with a very simple HTML file by dynamically adding an anchor element with an href during a touch event. If you add a different element or an anchor without an href, there is no issue. Similarly, if you apply the same listener to a click event there is no issue. How can I set it as a formal payment environment if I can make the payment now without any deduction?

We use a direct link mechanism in our app that attempts to open the app if it's already installed; otherwise, it redirects the user to the App Store. However, when the app is not installed, Safari displays an alert saying: "Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid." (Error) When using Safari to access an internal website during development (using a self-signed certificate), may encounter issues where backend data fails to be retrieved.

When a DNR rule is set for a specific URL and the request receives a server-side redirect (e.g., 302) to a different URL that does not match the urlFilter, the rule still seems to apply to the redirected request. We are using macOS 15.4 and Safari 18.4. For example, consider two sequential calls: call1 and call2. call1 triggers a 302 redirect to call2. A DNR rule is created to add a "Cookie" header to call1 based on its URL. Unexpectedly, the same cookie is also added to call2, even though call2's URL does not match the rule's urlFilter. This results in the Set-Cookie response from call1 being ignored, and call2 receiving the manually set cookie instead—leading to incorrect behavior. This issue doesn't occur in Chrome or Firefox, where the rule is not applied to the redirected request if the URL no longer matches. We are looking for assistance in fixing these issues and having our Safari Extension function the same as it does in Firefox and Chrome.

Hi Developers, I am working on a small project and I noticed that my website header looks different in Safari on macOS compared to Windows browsers like Chrome and Edge. In Safari, the header text and spacing look slightly shifted (screenshot attached). On Windows browsers, everything looks perfectly aligned.
