Logged error/warning in FigCaptureSourceRemote when capturing a photo
I'm using this library: https://github.com/Yummypets/YPImagePicker to capture photos. I've modified it slightly, and I'm using an older version. When testing on my iPhone 16e, ios 26, whenever I take a photo, I get the following two error messages: <<<< FigXPCUtilities >>>> signalled err=-17281 at <>:302 <<<< FigCaptureSourceRemote >>>> Fig assert: "err == 0 " at bail (FigCaptureSourceRemote.m:569) - (err=-17281) These error messages appear, but as far as I can tell, the photo comes through OK, and I can save the data no problem. I've even removed all my handling code to see if it was something I was doing. I don't really want to ship with these errors showing, but I also have no idea what can be causing this error to appear. chatgpt was not helpful diagnosing this. Does anyone know what can cause this error Is there a way I can see the source code to figure out if there's something I'm doing wrong here? It really seems like this is an internal apple error, or else I would have expected more details on the error relating to the code I've written. Any clues would be appreciated!

builtInLiDARDepthCamera doesn't work on the 2020 iPad Pro on iOS 26
On iOS 26.1, this throws on the 2020 iPad Pro (4th gen) but works fine on an M4 iPad Pro or iPhone 15 Pro: guard let device = AVCaptureDevice.default(.builtInLiDARDepthCamera, for: .video, position: .back) else { throw ConfigurationError.lidarDeviceUnavailable } It's just the standard code from Apple's own sample code so obviously used to work: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/AVFoundation/capturing-depth-using-the-lidar-camera Does it fail because Apple have silently dumped support for the older LiDAR sensor used prior to the M4 iPad Pro, or is there another reason? What about the 5th and 6th gen iPad Pro, does it still work on those?

How can I locate a UVC camera for PTZ control by AVCaptureDevice.unique_id
I'm writing a program to control a PTZ camera connected via USB. I can get access to target camera's unique_id, and also other infos provided by AVFoundation. But I don't know how to locate my target USB device to send a UVC ControlRequest. There's many Cameras with same VendorID and ProductID connected at a time, so I need a more exact way to find out which device is my target. It looks that the unique_id provided is (locationID<<32|VendorID<<16|ProductID) as hex string, but I'm not sure if I can always assume this behavior won't change. Is there's a document declares how AVFoundation generate the unique_id for USB camera, so I can assume this convert will always work? Or is there's a way to send a PTZ control request to AVCaptureDevice? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40006908/usb-interface-of-an-avcapturedevice I have seen this similar question. But I'm worrying that Exacting LocationID+VendorID+ProductID from unique_id seems like programming to implementation instead of interface. So, if there's any other better way to control my camera? here's my example code for getting unique_id: // // camera_unique_id_test.mm // // 测试代码:使用C++获取当前系统摄像头的AVCaptureDevice unique_id // // 编译命令: // clang++ -framework AVFoundation -framework CoreMedia -framework Foundation // camera_unique_id_test.mm -o camera_unique_id_test // #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <vector> #import <AVFoundation/AVFoundation.h> #import <Foundation/Foundation.h> struct CameraInfo { std::string uniqueId; }; std::vector<CameraInfo> getAllCameraDevices() { std::vector<CameraInfo> cameras; @autoreleasepool { NSArray<AVCaptureDevice*>* devices = [AVCaptureDevice devicesWithMediaType:AVMediaTypeVideo]; AVCaptureDevice* defaultDevice = [AVCaptureDevice defaultDeviceWithMediaType:AVMediaTypeVideo]; // 遍历所有设备 for (AVCaptureDevice* device in devices) { CameraInfo info; // 获取unique_id info.uniqueId = std::string([device.uniqueID UTF8String]); cameras.push_back(info); } } return cameras; } int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { std::vector<CameraInfo> cameras = getAllCameraDevices(); for (size_t i = 0; i < cameras.size(); i++) { const CameraInfo& camera = cameras[i]; std::cout << " 设备 " << (i + 1) << ":" << std::endl; std::cout << " unique_id: " << camera.uniqueId << std::endl; } return 0; } and here's my code for UVC control: // clang++ -framework Foundation -framework IOKit uvc_test.cpp -o uvc_test #include <iostream> #include <CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h> #include <IOKit/IOCFPlugIn.h> #include <IOKit/IOKitLib.h> #include <IOKit/IOMessage.h> #include <IOKit/usb/IOUSBLib.h> #include <IOKit/usb/USB.h> CFStringRef CreateCFStringFromIORegistryKey(io_service_t ioService, const char* key) { CFStringRef keyString = CFStringCreateWithCString(kCFAllocatorDefault, key, kCFStringEncodingUTF8); if (!keyString) return nullptr; CFStringRef result = static_cast<CFStringRef>( IORegistryEntryCreateCFProperty(ioService, keyString, kCFAllocatorDefault, kIORegistryIterateRecursively)); CFRelease(keyString); return result; } std::string GetStringFromIORegistry(io_service_t ioService, const char* key) { CFStringRef cfString = CreateCFStringFromIORegistryKey(ioService, key); if (!cfString) return ""; char buffer[256]; Boolean success = CFStringGetCString(cfString, buffer, sizeof(buffer), kCFStringEncodingUTF8); CFRelease(cfString); return success ? Questions about H.264 encoding settings with low-latency rate control
Hi everyone, I noticed that Apple recently added a few new beta sample codes related to video encoding: Encoding video for low-latency conferencing Encoding video for live streaming While experimenting with H.264 encoding, I came across some questions regarding certain configurations: When I enable kVTVideoEncoderSpecification_EnableLowLatencyRateControl, is it still possible to use kVTCompressionPropertyKey_VariableBitRate? In my tests, I get an error. It also seems that kVTVideoEncoderSpecification_EnableLowLatencyRateControl cannot be used together with kVTCompressionPropertyKey_ConstantBitRate when encoding H264. Is that expected? When using kVTCompressionPropertyKey_ConstantBitRate with kVTCompressionPropertyKey_MaxKeyFrameInterval set to 2, the encoder outputs only keyframes, and the frame size keeps increasing, which doesn’t seem like the intended behavior. Regarding the following code from the sample: let byteLimit = (Double(bitrate) / 8) * 1.5 as CFNumber let secLimit = Double(1.0) as CFNumber let limitsArray = [ byteLimit, secLimit ] as CFArray // Each 1 second limit byte as bitrate err = VTSessionSetProperty(session, key: kVTCompressionPropertyKey_DataRateLimits, value: limitsArray) This DataRateLimits setting doesn’t seem to have any effect in my tests. Whether I set it or not, the values remain unchanged. Since the documentation on aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation doesn’t clearly explain these cases, I’d like to ask if anyone has insights or recommendations about the proper usage of these settings. Thanks in advance!

iOS 26: Underexposed image in exposure bracket appears clamped vs single capture
Hello, I have an iOS camera app that captures exposure brackets and performs custom HDR processing. On iOS 26, I’m observing a visual difference between: a single photo captured at –2 EV, and the –2 EV frame from an exposure bracket (–2 / 0 / +2 EV). On iOS 26: The single –2 EV image looks natural and consistent. The –2 EV image from the bracket appears clamped / distorted, most noticeably in high dynamic range scenes (highlight compression and loss of detail). On iOS 18, both approaches produce visually identical and correct –2 EV images. The issue only appears for bracketed captures on iOS 26. Attachments (examples) iOS 26 Single capture –2 EV (JPEG): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/ios26SingleImage/JPEG image-4006-8B77-51-0.jpeg Single capture –2 EV — Capture report (dumped settings): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/ios26SingleImage/UnderExposureDebug_CaptureReport_2026-01-09T15-59-20Z.md Bracket capture –2 EV frame (JPEG): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/bracket_iOS26/JPEG image-45CE-9793-A5-0.jpeg Bracket capture — Capture report (dumped settings): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/bracket_iOS26/UnderExposureDebug_CaptureReport_2026-01-09T15-55-42Z.md iOS 18 Single capture –2 EV (JPEG): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/ios18SingleImage/JPEG image-47FD-AF73-28-0.jpeg Single capture –2 EV — Capture report: /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/ios18SingleImage/UnderExposureDebug_CaptureReport_2026-01-09T16-25-27Z.md Bracket capture — –2 EV frame (JPEG): /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/bracket_iOS18/JPEG image-4A4C-9E93-46-0.jpeg Bracket capture — Capture report: /Users/danilobudimir/Downloads/bracket_iOS18/UnderExposureDebug_CaptureReport_2026-01-09T16-27-23Z.md Question Is there any new behavior in iOS 26 AVFoundation related to: AVCapturePhotoBracketSettings, tone mapping / HDR preprocessing, or internal image processing applied specifically to bracketed frames? Is there a new flag, format requirement or opt-out mechanism required to preserve linear underexposed frames in exposure brackets?

PHPhotoLibrary.performChanges completionHandler not called when deleting assets on iOS 26
In my app, I use api provided in Photos framework to delete specified photo. But after upgrading to iOS 26, the delete function in some iOS device no longer work. The api will never triggers the system confirmation dialog, and the completionHandler is never called. In the iOS Photos app, deletion works correctly on the same assets, but calling the API from my app does not work. Steps to Reproduce Make sure the app has Full Photo Library Access. Execute the following code: PHPhotoLibrary.shared().performChanges({ let assetsToBeDeleted = PHAsset.fetchAssets(withLocalIdentifiers: delUrls, options: nil) PHAssetChangeRequest.deleteAssets(assetsToBeDeleted) }, completionHandler: completionHandler) Expected Behavior The system should present a confirmation dialog asking the user to delete the selected photos. After the user confirms, the deletion should occur, and the completionHandler should be called with success or error. Actual Behavior The system delete confirmation dialog does not appear. The completionHandler is never called. Environment iOS Versions: 26.1 / 26.0.1 It looks like api bug. I want to check Is it a know issue and will be fixed. Thanks

AVAudioSession : Audio issues when recording the screen in an app that changes IOBufferDuration on iOS 26.
Among Japanese end users, audio issues during screen recording—primarily in game applications—have become a topic of discussion. We have confirmed that the trigger for this issue is highly likely to be related to changes to IOBufferDuration. When using setPreferredIOBufferDuration and the IOBufferDuration is set to a value smaller than the default, audio problems occur in the recorded screen capture video. Audio playback is performed using AudioUnit (RemoteIO). https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/avfaudio/avaudiosession/setpreferrediobufferduration(_:)?language=objc This issue was not observed on iOS 18, and it appears to have started occurring after upgrading to iOS 26. We provide an audio middleware solution, and we had incorporated changes to IOBufferDuration into our product to achieve low-latency audio playback. As a result, developers using our product as well as their end users are being affected by this issue. We kindly request that this issue be investigated and addressed in a future update. “This document has been translated by AI. The original text is included below for reference.” 音声の再生にはAudioUnit(RemoteIO)を使用しています。

AVAudioEngine fails to start during FaceTime call (error 2003329396)
Is it possible to perform speech-to-text using AVAudioEngine to capture microphone input while being on a FaceTime call at the same time? I tried implementing this, but whenever I attempt to start the AVAudioEngine while a FaceTime call is active, I get the following error: “The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error 2003329396)” I assume this might be due to microphone resource restrictions during FaceTime, but I’d like to confirm whether this limitation is at the system level or if there’s any possible workaround or entitlement that allows concurrent microphone access. Has anyone encountered this issue or found a solution?

P3 Display to XYZ Color Space Conversion
When I use the ColorSync Utility to convert Display P3 color (1, 0, 0) to an XYZ color, the result is (0.5151, 0.2412, -0.0011). I expected that result because that is identical to the red colorant tristimulus value in the Display P3.icc file. When I use the CGColor converted method to do the same, the XYZ color is approximately (0.5151, 0.2412, 0.0). Note that the third element is 0.0 whereas it is -0.0011 when using the ColorSync Utility. I have printed out the Z component to 16 digits of precision, and Z is all 0s. It appears that the CGColor converted method is clamping the result from 0 to 1.My questions are:1. Which conversion is correct? The ColorSync utility or the CGColor converted method?2. I am not a color specialist, but I thought that the XYZ components should never be negative. If so, is the colorant tristimulus value in the Display P3.icc file wrong?3. Because CGColor clamped the Z component to 0, the XYZ color cannot be converted back exactly or closely to the Display P3 color (1, 0, 0). I would have expected to be able to go back and forth between the two color spaces when starting from a valid P3 Display color especially since the XYZ color space completely encompasses the P3 Display color space. Is that not true?4. Is (1, 0, 0) an invalid Display P3 color? If so, I can understand the peculiar results. I'm not sure how I would know if a Display P3 color is valid or not. (I only know that the component values must be from 0 to 1.) I think it is valid because Apple uses that color in the UIColor API Reference in an example.

I cannot acquire entitlement named com.apple.developer.avfoundation.video-data-output-prepares-cellular-radio-for-machine-readable-code-scanning.
AVCaptureVideoDataOutput.preparesCellularRadioForNetworkConnection requires com.apple.developer.avfoundation.video-data-output-prepares-cellular-radio-for-machine-readable-code-scanning. But I cannot acquire its entitlement. I can't find its entitlement on 'Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles'. Any solutions? Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: ......" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.avfoundation.video-data-output-prepares-cellular-radio-for-machine-readable-code-scanning entitlement.

MusicKit - ApplicationMusicPlayer fails to play certain Songs
[Note: this issue was happening on a main testing device, and after testing the same code on other devices, this issue is only happening on 1 out of 4 devices] We are successfully getting a MusicCatalogResourceResponse for every song ID where we make the MusicCatalogResourceRequest. We are able to display the song title, artist name, and album artwork for each Song in the response. However - when we go to play the song, there are some songs that play, and several songs that do not play. For the songs that don't play, the console shows “Failed to prepareToPlay error=<MPMusicPlayerControllerErrorDomain.6 "Failed to prepare to play" {}>” let musicPlayer = ApplicationMusicPlayer.shared func playSong(_ song: Song) { musicPlayer.queue = [song] Task { try await musicPlayer.prepareToPlay() try await musicPlayer.play() } Is there anything else we can investigate about what may be causing specific song IDs not to play on this specific device? Even if we remove line 6 musicPlayer.prepareToPlay() we still see the same console error when running playSong with the Songs that don't work. It is always the same song IDs that we can play and always the same song IDs that we cannot get to play, even trying them across different projects with different bundle identifiers. We can tap to play a song that works, and it starts playing immediately. Then tap a song that doesn't work, and nothing happens. Then back to a song that works. It's consistent which songs succeed and fail on this device. Perhaps there is an issue specific to this very iPad when it comes to certain specific songs, but we'd like to be confident that an app relying on MusicKit will be able to play songs that have been successfully loaded with a MusicCatalogResourceResponse. Thanks for any help or suggestions about what we may be able to investigate further on the device or what we should consider when launching an app that expects anyone with Apple Music to be able to listen to any of the songs loaded by the app. Specific iPad details: iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation) running iPadOS 26.4 Beta Two of the song IDs that won't play on this iPad (even though we can access and display their album artwork and all other information): 943204000 and 1441164805

iOS 26 Beta Personal Voice bug affecting AVSpeechSynthesizer
I have sent in a feedback report (FB18222398) but I have no idea if anyone has looked at it. I know from past experiences that Apple devs do look at these forums. This applies to each of the betas, 1, 2 and 3. I have created a new Personal Voice with each beta. I create a personal voice in English. When it's done processing, I tap Preview and it says in English what is expected. But after some time, an hour or a day, the language of the voice file changes languages and no longer works properly. If I press Preview it is no longer intelligible. I have a text to speech app and initially the created voice works but then when the language of the file changes, it no longer works. I have run an app on my iphone through Xcode that prints to the console the voices installed on the device with the language. Currently this is the voice file: Voice Identifier: com.apple.speech.personalvoice.AAA9C6F2-9125-475F-BA2F-22C63274991D Language: es-MX and on a second device the same personal voice is in a different language: Voice Identifier: com.apple.speech.personalvoice.AAA9C6F2-9125-475F-BA2F-22C63274991D Language: zh-CN Although, a previous personal voice file that listed as Spanish-Mexican played in English with a Spanish accent or when playing Spanish text, it sounded almost perfect. This current personal voice doesn't do that, and is unintelligible. Previous attempts have converted to Chinese. I hope someone can look into this.

Sound not working on testflight / Appstore
I have a flutter iOS app that has some simple sound FX for button clicks, swipes, etc. In simulator and on real device the sound works fine, but when i upload the app to testflight (and App store) the sound FX don't play. When I upload the app to my phone via xcode I am using the release profile so I don't see what the difference could be. I have also gone through the archive that i uploaded and verified that the sound files are indeed there. I have other flutter apps that use sound but non since the iOS 26 update. I've tried 3 different flutter sound libraries and all face the same issue. Wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue or if I'm missing a simple permission or something that has changed recently? Thanks in advanced

Dell monitor volume control issue on iMac via USB-C
I have a new 2725QC (Dell) Monitor that uses USB-C connection to connect with the iMac (2019, 27 inch) through the back port but the problem is that the volume control can currently only be done from the hardware, not the software control using the Apple keyboard. What should I do in terms of writing code to do this (Swift or Obj-C)? Is there a third-party solution for Intel iMac and ARM Mac?

No audio in screen recordings when using AVAudioEngine Voice Processing
Hello, We are developing a real-time speech recognition application and are utilizing AVAudioEngine with voice processing enabled on the input node. However, we have observed that enabling this mode interferes with the built-in iOS screen recording feature - specifically, the recorded video does not capture any audio when this mode is active. Since we want users to be able to record their experience within our app, this issue significantly impacts our functionality. Is there a known workaround or recommended approach to ensure that both voice processing and screen recording can function simultaneously? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

After iOS 18.5, the AVFoundation AVCaptureSessionInterruptionReason.videoDeviceNotAvailableWithMultipleForegroundApps error has caused a significant increase in camera black screen issues.
Issue: After iOS 18.5 release, our app is experiencing a significant increase in AVCaptureSessionInterruptionReason.videoDeviceNotAvailableWithMultipleForegroundApps errors. Details: Our camera-related code has not been updated recently. However, we've observed that the error rate has significantly increased starting from May 2025. The error rate has risen from approximately 0.02% (2 in 10,000 users) to 0.1% (1 in 1,000 users). This represents a 5x increase in error occurrence. The frequency has increased noticeably since iOS 18.5 This is affecting our app's camera functionality and user experience Questions: Are there any known changes in iOS 18.5 regarding camera access management? What are the recommended best practices to handle this interruption reason? Are there any API changes we should be aware of? Best, Shay

Why a driverkit extension needs a CMIO extension
I developed a driverkit extension based on overriding-the-default-usb-video-class-extension, but the link didn’t give the details of realization. I asked DTS who gave two tips: 1, Do you also have a CMIO extension to load in place of the default overriding-the-default-usb-video-class-extension 2, Your DriverKit extension’s info.plist is also missing the CameraAssistantBundleID. I want to know why a driverkit extension needs a CMIO extension, what’s the data and control flow?

APMP & Photography?
Hi, I'm a fan of the gallery in vision pro which has video as well as still photography but I'm wondering if Apple has considered adding the projected media tags to heic so that we can go that next step from Spatial photos to Immersive photos. I have a device that can give me 12k x 6k fisheye images in HDR, but it can't do it at a framerate or resolution that's good enough for video, so I want to cut my losses and show off immersive photos instead. Is there something Apple is already working on for APMP stills or should I create my own app that reads metadata inside a HEIC that I infer in a similar way to the demo "ProjectedMediaConversion" is doing for Video. It would be great to have 180VR photos, which could show as Spatial in a gallery view, but going immersive would half-surround you instead of floating in the blurred view. I think that would be a pretty amazing effect.

Only fetch PHAssets from the current user's iCloud Library
I'm working on a photo app and I want to allow the user to display, edit and delete photos. I can fetch all photos using PHAsset.fetchAssets(with: options). This works as intended. However, I can't seem to find a way to prevent the user from seeing photos from a Shared Library. The PHAssetSourceType only contains typeCloudShared to only show items from a specific album; not library. How can I filter by iCloud Shared Library?

UIDocumentPickerViewController in Audiounit Extension unable to receive touches
Hello, I have an existing AUv3 instrument plugin. In the plug in, users can access files (audio files, song projects) via a UIDocumentPickerViewController In Logic Pro, (and some other hosts, but not all), the document picker is unable to receive touches, while a keyboard case is attached to the iPad. Removing the case (this is an Apple brand iPad case) allows the interactions to resume and allows me to pick files in the usual way. One of my users reports this non-responsive behavior occurs even after disconnecting their keyboard. I have fiddled with entitlements all day, and have determined that is not the issue, since the keyboard disconnection appears to fix it every time for me. Here is my, very boilerplate, presentation code : guard let type = UTType("com.my.type") else { return } let fileBrowser = UIDocumentPickerViewController(forOpeningContentTypes: [type]) fileBrowser.overrideUserInterfaceStyle = .dark fileBrowser.delegate = self fileBrowser.directoryURL = myFileFolderURL() self.present(fileBrowser, animated: true) {

builtInLiDARDepthCamera doesn't work on the 2020 iPad Pro on iOS 26
But I don't know how to locate my target USB device to send a UVC ControlRequest. There's many Cameras with same VendorID and ProductID connected at a time, so I need a more exact way to find out which device is my target. It looks that the unique_id provided is (locationID<<32|VendorID<<16|ProductID) as hex string, but I'm not sure if I can always assume this behavior won't change. Is there's a document declares how AVFoundation generate the unique_id for USB camera, so I can assume this convert will always work? Or is there's a way to send a PTZ control request to AVCaptureDevice? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40006908/usb-interface-of-an-avcapturedevice I have seen this similar question. But I'm worrying that Exacting LocationID+VendorID+ProductID from unique_id seems like programming to implementation instead of interface. So, if there's any other better way to control my camera? here's my example code for getting unique_id: // // camera_unique_id_test.mm // // 测试代码:使用C++获取当前系统摄像头的AVCaptureDevice unique_id // // 编译命令: // clang++ -framework AVFoundation -framework CoreMedia -framework Foundation // camera_unique_id_test.mm -o camera_unique_id_test // #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <vector> #import <AVFoundation/AVFoundation.h> #import <Foundation/Foundation.h> struct CameraInfo { std::string uniqueId; }; std::vector<CameraInfo> getAllCameraDevices() { std::vector<CameraInfo> cameras; @autoreleasepool { NSArray<AVCaptureDevice*>* devices = [AVCaptureDevice devicesWithMediaType:AVMediaTypeVideo]; AVCaptureDevice* defaultDevice = [AVCaptureDevice defaultDeviceWithMediaType:AVMediaTypeVideo]; // 遍历所有设备 for (AVCaptureDevice* device in devices) { CameraInfo info; // 获取unique_id info.uniqueId = std::string([device.uniqueID UTF8String]); cameras.push_back(info); } } return cameras; } int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { std::vector<CameraInfo> cameras = getAllCameraDevices(); for (size_t i = 0; i < cameras.size(); i++) { const CameraInfo& camera = cameras[i]; std::cout << " 设备 " << (i + 1) << ":" << std::endl; std::cout << " unique_id: " << camera.uniqueId << std::endl; } return 0; } and here's my code for UVC control: // clang++ -framework Foundation -framework IOKit uvc_test.cpp -o uvc_test #include <iostream> #include <CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h> #include <IOKit/IOCFPlugIn.h> #include <IOKit/IOKitLib.h> #include <IOKit/IOMessage.h> #include <IOKit/usb/IOUSBLib.h> #include <IOKit/usb/USB.h> CFStringRef CreateCFStringFromIORegistryKey(io_service_t ioService, const char* key) { CFStringRef keyString = CFStringCreateWithCString(kCFAllocatorDefault, key, kCFStringEncodingUTF8); if (!keyString) return nullptr; CFStringRef result = static_cast<CFStringRef>( IORegistryEntryCreateCFProperty(ioService, keyString, kCFAllocatorDefault, kIORegistryIterateRecursively)); CFRelease(keyString); return result; } std::string GetStringFromIORegistry(io_service_t ioService, const char* key) { CFStringRef cfString = CreateCFStringFromIORegistryKey(ioService, key); if (!cfString) return ""; char buffer[256]; Boolean success = CFStringGetCString(cfString, buffer, sizeof(buffer), kCFStringEncodingUTF8); CFRelease(cfString); return success ? Questions about H.264 encoding settings with low-latency rate control

Hello, I have an existing AUv3 instrument plugin. In the plug in, users can access files (audio files, song projects) via a UIDocumentPickerViewController In Logic Pro, (and some other hosts, but not all), the document picker is unable to receive touches, while a keyboard case is attached to the iPad. Removing the case (this is an Apple brand iPad case) allows the interactions to resume and allows me to pick files in the usual way. One of my users reports this non-responsive behavior occurs even after disconnecting their keyboard. I have fiddled with entitlements all day, and have determined that is not the issue, since the keyboard disconnection appears to fix it every time for me. Here is my, very boilerplate, presentation code : guard let type = UTType("com.my.type") else { return } let fileBrowser = UIDocumentPickerViewController(forOpeningContentTypes: [type]) fileBrowser.overrideUserInterfaceStyle = .dark fileBrowser.delegate = self fileBrowser.directoryURL = myFileFolderURL() self.present(fileBrowser, animated: true) {
