Cannot Install Developer Beta Update OTA or IPSW
I’m a registered iOS developer, and I’ve been facing an issue with installing iOS developer updates for the past couple of years. I can download the updates, but they get stuck at 99.9% complete and don’t finish. I’ve tried following the instructions to force restart the phone, but it stays on the Apple logo screen until it dies. I can update official iOS versions, but not beta versions. To update, I have to put the phone in DFU mode and install the update that way. This is frustrating and prevents me from making timely updates to my app and from diagnosing new issues during testing. I’d like to request that Apple investigate this issue and identify a solution. For reference, I’ve installed a bare-bones version with no new apps, and the problem persists. I would like a resolution that allows me to update normally without having to DFU the phone each time. This occurs via OTA or IPSW manual download and installation. Please refer to the following FB submission numbers: FB21642029 and FB21017894. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND BACK TO THIS MESSAGE AND HELP ME TROUBLESHOOT THIS ISSUE?!

SwiftMacros Not able to access of main project XCTest File.
I have developed a Swift macro called @CodableInit in the SwiftCodableMacro module, and I’m able to use it successfully in my main project. Here’s an example usage: import SwiftCodableMacro @CodableInit // This is for Codable macros public class ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin { public var identifier: UUID = UUID() // MARK: - Codable required public init(from decoder:Decoder) throws { let values = try decoder.container(keyedBy: CodingKeys.self) identifier = try values.decode(UUID.self, forKey: .identifier) } } However, when I try to write a unit test for the ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin class, I encounter an issue. Here's the test case: func testCodableSubjectIdentifierShouldEqualDecodedSubjectIdentifier() { self.measure { let encoder = JSONEncoder() let data = try? encoder.encode(subject) //Here I am getting this error Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' let decoder = JSONDecoder() let decodedSubject = try? decoder.decode(ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin.self, from: data!) XCTAssertEqual(subject.identifier, decodedSubject?.identifier) } } The compiler throws an error saying: Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' Even though the @CodableInit macro is supposed to generate conformance, it seems that this macro-generated code is not visible or active inside the test target. How can I ensure that the @CodableInit macro (from SwiftCodableMacro) is correctly applied and recognized within the XCTest target of my main project?

Help Analyzing Crash Logs – Auto Layout Threading Violation, Memory Pressure, CPU Usage
We're facing critical stability issues with a Xamarin-based iOS warehouse management app and need expert validation of our crash log analysis. We’re seeing recurring issues related to: Auto Layout Threading Violations Memory Pressure Terminations CPU Resource Usage Violations These are causing app crashes and performance degradation in production. We've attached representative crash logs to this post. Technical Validation Questions: Do the crash logs point to app-level defects (e.g., threading/memory management), or could user behavior be a contributing factor? Is ~1.8GB memory usage acceptable for enterprise apps on iOS, or does it breach platform best practices? Do the threading violations suggest a fundamental architectural or concurrency design flaw in the codebase? Would you classify these as enterprise-grade stability concerns requiring immediate architectural refactoring? Do the memory logs indicate potential leaks, or are the spikes consistent with expected usage patterns under load? Could resolving the threading violation eliminate or reduce the memory and CPU issues (i.e., a cascading failure)? Are these issues rooted in Xamarin framework limitations, or do they point more toward app-specific implementation problems? Documentation & UX Questions: What Apple-recommended solutions exist for these specific issues? Unexpected app version in logs — does MARKETING_VERSION change dynamically?
Hello, I've encountered unexpected behavior related to version information in our app logs, and I'd like to ask for some advice. We reviewed logs collected from a user running our app (currently available on the App Store). The logs are designed to include both the build number and the app version. Based on the build number in the logs, we believe the installed app version on the user's device is 1.0.3. However, the app version recorded in the logs is 1.1.5, which is the latest version currently available on the App Store. In our project, we set the app version using the MARKETING_VERSION environment variable. This value is configured via XcodeGen, and we define it in a YAML file. Under normal circumstances, the value defined in the YAML file (MARKETING_VERSION = 1.0.3) should be embedded in the app and reflected in the logs. But in this case, the version from the current App Store release (1.1.5) appears instead, which was unexpected. We'd like to know what might cause this behavior, and if there are any known factors that could lead to this. Also, is it possible that MARKETING_VERSION might somehow dynamically reflect the version currently available on the App Store? YAML: info.plist:

SystemData and IOS Images
Hi, I’m trying to free up space on my computer and have uninstalled Xcode. However, I noticed that many large files remain on the filesystem even after uninstalling it. The largest remaining files (~33 GB) are iOS Simulator images located at: /System/Volumes/Data/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Volumes I attempted to delete them using root privileges, but it seems that these system files are mounted as read-only. I’m reaching out to ask for guidance to ensure that these files do not contain anything important for macOS, and that it’s safe to remove them before getting in recovery mode. Thank you very much for your advice!

ATS doesn't download AirPlay Diagnostic profile
I need to install the AirPlay profile on an iphone to watch decrypted traffic in ATS for development work on CarPlay. The documentation for ATS says to click "Utilities -> Download Profiles -> AirPlay Diagnostic Mode". When I do this, it brings up a file dialog, presumably to select a location to download. But nothing happens. The other profiles launch a web browser and download the .mobileconfig profile. How do I get the AirPlay profile? Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work? I found ATSAssetsInfoDefault.plist which references these files. And they all have https://aninterestingwebsite.com/services-account/download?path=/iOS/iOS_Logs/... except the AirPlay profile, which is type "slug" and just says ats-airplay-diagnostic-mode-profile. Is this a bug in the app?

Gyro/Orientation iframe embed doesn't work on iOS26, works on iOS 18.5
So I'm testing a microapp that is contained in an IPFS folder. I use a web3 website that is used to view NFTs and their IPFS files. Issues with Family Controls during development
Hi everyone! I’m building Delta — an app designed to rethink time, because time is literally our most valuable currency. So the core mechanic involves earning time in useful apps and then spending it on apps that are a distraction. I already have a prototype that’s being actively tested in a closed beta, but I’ve started noticing that more and more testers are reporting the same bug. “Time is being counted even when I'm not in the app I marked as useful.” I suspect that Screen Time is also tracking background time, although this behavior isn't correct for my app. Does anyone know how to track specifically those moments when an app marked as useful and used for “time-earning” is in the foreground? Additionally, I hit a wall with Screen Time and had to accept that I can’t force a user away from another app if they’re active there, nor redirect them to my app to trigger the lock screen. Because of this, I had to resort to a penalty system, which is equal to the time the user spent additionally after their time ran out. And here, I run into the same problem I described at the beginning of the post. I can’t track the background status of another app, even though I’m trying really hard... Can anyone suggest any ways I can get out of this situation, or should I keep looking for a solution, or shift toward explaining this to the user?.. (However, I’m holding out until the very end before giving up on finding a solution)

Xcode Code coverage shows zero; even after 245 successful tests
I have a project inside the project structure. I have around 300 unit tests in the project. I see that for some of the subprojects, the coverage numbers show up correctly, but for other subprojects and the main project, the coverage number shows zero, even though the tests are running successfully. The log I get is: Aggregation tool emitted warnings: warning: /Users/ABC/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/projectABC-hfzmkbdgpiswoxfvvnvhrafaiqyb/Build/ProfileData/A8EEC1FB-1699-4C29-A88C-D3DDA226DBC0/0A416494-A393-4319-AA47-502D72084C9C-43351.profraw: raw profile version mismatch: Profile uses raw profile format version = 8; expected version = 10 PLEASE update this tool to the version in the raw profile, or regenerate the raw profile with the expected version. I only have one Xcode (26.0.1) on my machine. I tried cleaning the derived data, the cleaning project, and rerunning the tests, but it hasn't helped. Please help me get the coverage number back. Thank you.

Thank you.

There is an issue with Korean consonants and vowels being separated in the simulator.
In Simulator Korean character system has not working well. I want to type "", however, if I type the same thing on the simulator's virtual keyboard (Korean), it comes out as ''. I think this is caused by IME system in ios simulator bug. I think this has been happening since IOS 17.
