Apple pay processing payment fail
Hey, I am trying to implement the apple pay process pay backend service, I have checked everything and somehow it fails. I only have 1 certificate for merchant and 1 for the apple pay process, I have the private keys and try to run this following code that fails - import crypto from 'crypto'; import fs from 'fs'; import forge from 'node-forge'; const MERCHANT_ID_FIELD_OID = '1.2.840.113635.100.6.32'; function decryptedToken() { const token = ""; const ephemeralPublicKey = ""; const encryptedData = ""; //=================================== // Import certs //=================================== const epk = Buffer.from(ephemeralPublicKey, 'base64'); const merchantCert = fs.readFileSync('merchant_full.pem', 'utf8') const paymentProcessorCert = fs.readFileSync("apple_pay_private.pem"); //=================================== let symmetricKey = ''; try { symmetricKey = restoreSymmetricKey(epk, merchantCert, paymentProcessorCert); } catch (err) { throw new Error(`Restore symmetric key failed: ${err.message}`); } try { //----------------------------------- // Use the symmetric key to decrypt the value of the data key //----------------------------------- const decrypted = JSON.parse(decryptCiphertextFunc(symmetricKey, encryptedData)); console.log("Decrypted Token:", decrypted); // const preppedToken = prepTabaPayToken(token, decrypted) //~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ // Send decrypted token back to frontend //~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ // res.send(preppedToken); } catch (err) { throw new Error(`Decrypt cipher data failed: ${err.message}`); } } // extractMerchantID - const extractMerchantID = (merchantCert) => { //=================================== // Extract merchant identification from public key certificate //=================================== try { const info = forge.pki.certificateFromPem(merchantCert); const result = info['extensions'].filter(d => d.id === MERCHANT_ID_FIELD_OID); //----------------------------------- // Return //----------------------------------- return result[0].value.toString().substring(2); } catch (err) { throw new Error(Unable to extract merchant ID from certificate: ${err}); } } // generateSharedSecret - const generateSharedSecret = (merchantPrivateKey, ephemeralPublicKey) => { //=================================== // Use private key from payment processing certificate and the ephemeral public key to generate // the shared secret using Elliptic Curve Diffie*Hellman (ECDH) //=================================== const privateKey = crypto.createPrivateKey({ key: merchantPrivateKey, format: "pem", type: "sec1", // because it's "EC PRIVATE KEY" }); Migration to Organization Account pending for 3 weeks - Case ID: 102799400229
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some insight or advice regarding the timeline for migrating from an Individual to an Organizational developer account. My request was initiated on January 11th, making it over three weeks now. The last communication I received from the support team was on January 24th (8 days ago). Despite sending follow-up inquiries to check on the status or if additional documentation is required, I haven’t received any updates since then. Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently? Is there a specific channel or method to escalate this beyond the standard follow-up emails? Request Started: Jan 11, 2026 Last Contact: Jan 24, 2026 Case ID: 102799400229 Thanks in advance for any help!

Unable to access Certificates Identifiers & Profiles as an Admin in Apple Organization Developer Program Account
Hi all, I’m an Admin user in an Apple Developer Program (Organization) team, but I’m unable to access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles (CIP) on aninterestingwebsite.com. I’d like to understand what permission is missing and where it should be enabled. Context Program type: Apple Developer Program (Organization) My role in App Store Connect: Admin I can access App Store Connect normally, but CIP resources on aninterestingwebsite.com are blocked. The Account Holder can access CIP normally. What I see (Problem) In the Apple Developer portal → Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, I get: “Access Unavailable — You currently don't have access to this membership resource. Contact your team's Account Holder or an Admin.” In Xcode → Settings → Accounts → Team, the “Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles” section shows a red error indicator and doesn’t load. Only my account is affected; the Account Holder is not. What we’ve tried / confirmed Membership is active (renewal date is valid) Signed out/in of Xcode and re-added my Apple ID Confirmed selecting the correct Organization team in Xcode / Developer portal Account Holder confirmed they can access CIP Questions For an Organization team, what exact permission(s) are required for a member to access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles? Where is this access controlled — App Store Connect → Users and Access vs aninterestingwebsite.com → People? If Admin in App Store Connect is not sufficient, what additional role/setting is needed to grant CIP access?

https://api.storekit.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/history/ Bug
Hello, We are currently using the App Store Server API - Get Transaction History endpoint to check whether consumable in-app purchase orders are completed. (https://api.storekit.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/history/) Recently, we’ve been seeing some cases where consumable purchases appear in the transaction history as completed orders, even though they were already fully processed and delivered to the user. This behavior seems to be a possible issue or bug in the App Store Server API. We would like to understand why this happens. Is there any known situation where consumable purchases reappear as completed orders in the transaction history after fulfillment? What is the most reliable method or best practice to confirm the completion status of consumable purchases to prevent re-processing? We would appreciate any insights or experiences from other developers who have encountered a similar issue. Thank you.

Cannot create new developer account
Trying to make a new developer account but says I cannot. Here are the variables. I have a personal icloud account, it was tied to a developer organization account for an app and company I shut down. I let that developer account expire. Both tied to my mobile number. I can access it but cannot do anything. Trying to setup a new organization developer account using that mobile phone number, but it will not let me create the account. (have a new app/company) Used a different phone number and still got the message that I could not create a new account at this time.

LiveKit SDK + VisionPro
I’m developing an app for visionOS and testing it on AVP (visionOS 26), on iOS 17 and 26 devices, and in simulators (visionOS 2.5). The idea of the app is random video calls. For video calls I use LiveKit SDK. At the moment, SDK the version is 2.11.0. Maybe this will help clarify where the problem is: A user presses the "Start" button, which calls matchingViewModel.startMatching(). After that, matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .searching. Another user presses "Start" and the same thing happens. Then the API returns information for both users (myInfo, partners, roomId, myLiveKitToken). When a user receives the room information, matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .connecting. At this point, the connection to LiveKit should happen. In the MatchingWrapperView file, the handleChangeRoomIdOrPartners method checks whether it should connect to LiveKit (when partner information and a room ID are available) or disconnect from the room (when the partner ends the call). The connectRoom method handles connecting to the LiveKit room, enables the camera, and runs emitHasConnectedToLiveKit() (matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .connected, and information is sent to the other partner that the user has joined LiveKit). When testing visionOS device + visionOS device or iPhone or visionOS simulator, most of the time the video from the iPhone is not shown on the visionOS device. Less often, the video from the visionOS device is not shown on the iPhone or in the simulator. When testing iPhone + iPhone + visionOS simulator, everything usually works fine. Occasionally the video doesn’t appear, but this happens much less often. Maybe you know why this issue occurs much more frequently on visionOS? Here is all the code for the core functionality. If you need any additional code, please let me know. RoomModel.swift
