I just discover that feature (a folder lost in the middle of others desktop folder ). so with each updates: -/usr/local is emptied -somes apps in the Application folder, are deleted, even paid apps .. -i lost : Docker, python 3.13, latexlive2025, Apache NetBeans, java install, Affinity Publisher 2, all my 3D slicers ... github desktop, Epic Games Launcher, ........ 296go of apps Franckly : c'est la merde !!! Hi everyone, I’m a mixed reality designer currently building visionOS experiences (RealityKit + SwiftUI), and I’m working on a course at Arizona State University where we develop a project in response to a real-world client. I’m looking to collaborate with someone in the visionOS ecosystem who would be open to sharing a simple prompt or brief (nothing confidential), which I can use to create a proposal response. Does iOS 26 support HDR images for app icons to be rendered in High Dynamic Range for Springboard or not?

Hi everyone, since updating to Xcode 26 Beta 3, I’m seeing some really strange behavior. I just changed the color of a Color asset in my SwiftUI view – literally just switched from one named color to another – and suddenly: • Previews stopped working completely, with vague or no error messages. • Even when I changed the color back to what it was before, the previews still refused to build. • In addition, Xcode no longer restores the open tabs/windows when reopening the project. It just shows a blank editor every time I open it. This all happened without touching any project settings or code structure – just a simple color swap. Has anyone else run into this with Xcode 26 Beta 3? Would love to know if it’s a known bug or if there’s a workaround (besides nuking Derived Data, which I’ve already tried). Thanks!

I am looking for guidance on how people have solved this problem/use case. What is the best way to structure a seat based subscription app that an organization can pay for seats for all their users, can be distributed via mdm or via app store and is easy (low friction) to get paid for and started for small companies? I market to a business to buy my app, they want it installed on all 25 devices they have. They use ABM to acquire 25 licenses with and MDM to distribute. The app is currently free to download so ABM charges $0 but has a paywall to use. The paywall is a RevenueCat one and no user account is needed. All entitlements and free trial work great. When it is deployed to the 25 devices, they can either sign up with their own AppleId and own/company credit card, or use a company appleid and company card for all 25 devices to solve the issue but neither are great. Doubtful they would want to pay their money for a company required app on a company phone (don’t blame them). If they share an appleid, my MRR drops to 1/25th since they will just share the purchase. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, in the Human Interface Guidelines, Apple writes: Avoid using a segmented control in a toolbar. Toolbar items act on the current screen — they don’t let people switch contexts like segmented controls do. Along with this image: Source I'm confused by this example. The screenshot seems to be showing a segmented control in a toolbar. Is this saying that the Phone app's All/Missed toggle is different from a segmented control? Under iOS 26 it seems to take a different style compared to a regular segmented control. If so, which component is used to create this filter? Could you please clarify the guidelines? Thank you.

I’m developing an app that includes a navigation bar with a centered title and a single right bar button item. I’ve noticed that when both the navigation bar title and the right bar button item’s title are relatively long, the navigation bar title becomes hidden. This issue only occurs on iOS 26. When running the same code on iOS 18, the layout behaves as expected, with both elements visible. Has anyone else experienced this behavior on iOS 26? Is this a known layout change or a possible bug?

Example: Code filebot -script /Users//score_engine_v3.groovy Instead of being executed inside FileBot’s ScriptShell environment, macOS sometimes compiles the script as a plain Groovy class, producing errors like: Code No such property: input for class: __script_xxxxx This only happens when macOS bypasses the binary and hands the file to Groovy directly. Questions: Under what conditions would macOS bypass the invoking binary and treat a .groovy file as a Groovy script even when the binary is explicitly specified? Are there known cases where exported environment variables in zsh are not inherited by child processes launched by certain binaries? Could extended attributes, quarantine flags, or execution policies cause macOS to treat user‑edited .groovy files differently from newly created ones? Thanks for any insight.

I have many Apple devices, such as macbook, iPad and iPhone. It's very convenient for me to transfer files between devices. However, when I want to send files to my own device in public places, I often click on the wrong recipient because the list avatar keeps changing. I hope the list of recipients can be grouped One group is my own device (or the one I often send to), and the other group is other devices. When the user is about to send, the mouse will be in a relatively fixed and mentally expected area. I feel that this can reduce the probability of sending wrongly

This is my first attempt at creating a Wallet pass, actually a generic store card. When I see it with Pass Viewer on macOS, I get 1 look, when I see it with the iPhone simulator or iPhone proper, I get a different view. Neither is what I was hoping for, a simple vertical layout of an address. Could someone steer me in the correct direction? We have a Figma design (attached) for how the sheet should look, but we are not sure whether iOS allows modifying the default NFC UI. Hello, I have used CPPointOfInterestTemplate for displaying data and as user scrolls using the up/down arrow, I do not see any change in the map. Is there a way to highlight the POIs as the user scrolls through the list? I need to use the map controls and zoom to check the markers on the map. Is it possible to set the zoom level of the map in CarPlay? Pls suggest on the above queries

I am working on a Mac App that was developed with Objective C and Interface Builder. In earlier versions of Mac OS the window title was centered. Now in Tahoe it's left-justified. Is there some way to set this? There is no setting for this in Interface Builder and I can't see any way to do it programmatically by reading the developer documentation. Is this even possible?
