In the actual development, I found that I could not complete the setting of my icloud+ customised email domain name SMTP. I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.

Hello, I have a question regarding the ethernet-over-USB-C stack within iOS/iPadOS. It seems that when manually assigning an IP on this interface within iOS, the IP is stored. Therefore, when disconnecting (the USB-C cable) and reconnecting to another device for a subsequent ethernet connection, the iOS device will always default to the previously assigned IP address (obviously, this isn't the case if the other end is a DHCP server). So, within the iPhone's Ethernet-over-USB-C driver, I was curious if iOS just keeps the assignment based on the MAC of the local USB-C interface, or is stored information tied to some other identifier? Is there a way to override this behavior? Thank you

Installed update on Monday night and since then keep losing Network connection despite resettting Network connections and iphone. Comes back for a short time after rsetting then is lost with nothing showing under Mobile Service.

I submitted an enrollment request for the Apple Developer Program on March 3, 2025 (Enrollment ID: 3CJFXN3AA3), and it’s now been over 2.5 months with no resolution. All required documents have been submitted, confirmed received by Apple Support, and multiple follow-ups have been made (Case #102541675488). Each time, I’m told that the case is still under review, but I haven’t received any clear update or timeline. Is there anything else I can do to move this process forward? After doing a software update I can only view iMessages older than 12hrs (from a single contact) if the other person replies to and older message. Every time I leave the Massages app and go back in the issue occurs again.

The Apple logo and progress bar appear, and the progress bar gets about halfway through when the screen disappears, then reappears with the Apple logo and progress bar, and then eventually the progress bar just disappears, and only the Apple logo appears. After staring at that for an hour, I gave up and restored iOS 18.5. I made three attempts with Beta 1 and one attempt with Beta 2 and had the same results.

Ever since last weeks 18.5 beta update, the Deltek Vision T&E app no longer opens. I did the next update last night, still not working. I've deleted the app, restarted phone, re-installed, still the same behavior. When you open the app, it just spins and nothing ever happens, don't get to login screen or anything.

Hi, I've been trying to debug an issue with my extension. I am able to register the extension on install of my app, can select it under Phone> SMS/Call Reporting. When I touch Report it brings up my view controller, with the sender and message details. I set let response = ILClassificationResponse(action: .reportJunk) I've added debug logs throughout my extension and everything looks good. Now when MobileSMS takes over, I see: default 23:15:09.837024-0400 MobileSMS response: extension: error 23:15:09.837328-0400 MobileSMS error reporting SMS response: default 23:15:09.837387-0400 MobileSMS Finished, invoking didCompleteClassificationRequest info 23:15:09.837487-0400 MobileSMS didCompleteClassificationRequest -- di I don't see what the error is, and that last log entry is cut off at "di". I replied to the email three days ago and got no response. I tried again by requesting the subscription two days ago, but all I received was an automated message saying they would reply within two business days. What I did: I went to my Apple Developer account, clicked on Subscriptions, and entered my card details. They sent me an email saying they are preparing my order, but nothing else. I encountered some issues while developing a Vision Pro program using Unity. After binding an ARAnchor to a game object, I overlapped the virtual game object with a real-world cup. However, when I moved around with the Vision Pro on, the virtual game object shifted, causing the real-world cup and the virtual object to no longer coincide. Is there a way to solve this?

Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm encountering a persistent issue while attempting to create a new partition on my Mac, and I'm hoping to get some assistance or insights from anyone who might have faced a similar problem. Issue Description: I'm trying to partition my internal drive. I initially used Disk Utility.app for this purpose. The partitioning process starts, but consistently freezes when it reaches approximately 10-20% completion. I've left it running overnight (for over 9 hours), but there was no progress, and the application remained unresponsive at that percentage. After several attempts with Disk Utility, I decided to try using the diskutil commands in Terminal to see if that would yield a different result. I used commands such as diskutil apfs resizeContainer and diskutil partitionDisk. Unfortunately, these commands also result in the same behavior: the process starts, reports progress up to about 10-20%, and then completely freezes without any further output or completion, requiring me to force-quit Terminal. In preparing my ipad 7th gen for resale, I factory reset and now it will not power up. Tried hard reset, new cables, different computer. iTunes does not recognize the ipad yet device manager shows it hooked to usb port. Any advice? Thanks!

I'm totally baffled by the changes Apple made on iOS18 about certificates usage in the built-in mail application. They decided that self-signed are not accepted any more, fine. As long as you can install your own root CA and trust it, it should be fine. But NO! They have also decided that mail will only accept IMAP servers using a domain name, no more just and IP address. So you can't get any IP-based certificate that will be accepted by the mail app, even with the right SAN and al. I've tried two "identical" certs, one with a domain and one with an IP and the domain works while the IP fails, being rejected as non-valid by the app. The most funny part is that the IP cert is good enough to configure mail (can see the successful login), but is being rejected when reading emails. I'm really fed up with the "Apple police" that wants to push us not using our own storage anymore. My se case is simple, I have an IMAP server that is used by family to archive all emails and keep them organized, saved forever and away from being scanned. I need to access that server either when locally connected or through VPN. For VPN, I use split tunnels because I don't want all traffic to go to tunnel. Nor do I want to create my own local DNS server and have all VPN clients use such DNS server only for the sake of having a domain name for the IMAP server. Nor do I want to open an external port to redirect to my IMAP server (that works of course as then I can use DDNS ...). Talk about increased security! This is insane

Hi, After installing Macos 26 Beta on my Mac Mini M1 it doesn't boot. On the front panel there is an orange blinking light. The monitor doesn't recognize it. In DFU mode my other Mac Mini (M4) recognizes it but I can't restore it from Configurator (see print). Thanks for your help.
