I'm working on a video player app that has the basic functionality of viewing a video and then be able to trim and crop that video and then save it. My flow of trimming a video and then saving it works well with any and every video. Cropping, however, doesn't work in the sense that I am unable to Save the video and export it. Whenever I crop a video, in the video player, I can see the cropped version of the video (it plays too!) but on saving said video, I get the error: Export failed with status: 4, error: Cannot Decode I've been debugging for 2 days now but I'm still unsure as to why this happens. I'm almost certain the bug is somewhere cause of cropping and then saving/exporting. If anyone has dealt with this before, please let me know what the best step to do is! If you could help me refine the flow for cropping and exporting, that'd be really helpful too. Thanks!

I usually connect my iPad Pro M1 to an external monitor via the USB-C port without any issues. However, after updating to iPadOS 26 Beta 5 and now Beta 6, the connection no longer works. To troubleshoot, I tested other devices and setups: Tried connecting a wireless mouse via a 2.4GHz USB receiver - no response. Tried connecting the iPad to my MacBook via USB-C to USB-C cable - not recognized. Both the external monitor and mouse still work perfectly with my MacBook Air (macOS 18.6). This leads me to believe there may be a problem with the iPad’s USB-C data transfer functionality. I’ve checked the iPadOS 26 Beta Release Notes and found no mention of this issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Has Apple acknowledged it or provided any updates? Thanks for your help!

In preparing my ipad 7th gen for resale, I factory reset and now it will not power up. Tried hard reset, new cables, different computer. iTunes does not recognize the ipad yet device manager shows it hooked to usb port. Any advice? Thanks!

I have an Apple TV 4k 3rd gen 128gb model connected to a downstream device that is compatible with all surround sound formats except object-based ones like DTS:X, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos MAT2.0 . However, I would still like to have the highest possible audio output from the Apple TV 4k and not have to downgrade to the lossy Dolby 5.1 or stereo options when playing back content with Atmos audio (only that is affected since all other non-object-based audio is output without any problems since the problem arises from the MAT2.0 encoding for Atmos content which my downstream device is not able to decode). Please let me know if I missed a setting that can resolve my problem and otherwise please either consider adding the option or including me in the closed beta for the Apple TV OS26 since I heared that an option for audio-passtrough is in the works. Installed the iOS 26 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro last night, hated it. I wasn't aware that there is a supported way of restoring back to iOS18.5, so I (foolishly) opted to flash the iOS18.5 ispw file onto my device using a 3rd party tool. Now, my device is stuck in a state between. Unable to flash, unable to use itunes to restore, randomly gives error codes during restoration attempts. Worries my device may be lost permanently! Please advise.

The iPhone mobile data usage skyrocketed to use 1GB per day whereas I am normally a 5GB a month data user. the culprit was Apple System Services General there is currently no iPhone functionality to turn off System Services Genera. the solution was to block updates.cdn-apple.com using data sniffer called Proxyman. Hi all, Im trying tu publish an app for iOS and I get it rejected by the lack of this privacy manifest, but unless I understood this wrong, this manifest is needed for external tools used, or maybe Im wrong, Im publishing an app made in Unity, so in this case, one has to include a privacy manifest by default? I want to update my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 26 from iOS 18.5. I downloaded ipsw firmware. But iTunes and Apple Devices App requires update version of app for update to iOS 26. But I use last version of iTunes / Apple Devices, which was realised 2 May, 2025. That mean Apple need to update their apps for adaptation it to iOS 26 update?

Since updating to iOS 26, audio recordings made through apps like Snapchat and Instagram sound broken, saccaded and choppy. The issue happens with or without headphones. It feels like the microphone is either misused or filtered too aggressively by the app, leading to a stuttering or “cut-off” effect during speech. This doesn’t happen when recording audio in the Voice Memos app or the Camera app — only in social media apps.
