hi, im new to this, i updated my ipad pro 5th gen, to the latest ios 26 beta developer, but today, after using it like i regularly do, right now is with a black screen, is it related to the beta? do i need to downgrade? it is still working, the mac detects it, and it sounds by unlocking it, anyone had this same issue?

After updating to iPad iOS26 , the software update area shows that it cannot check for updates. Is this normal?

what else can you do with it except for getting the alarm run off? and the alarm even gets dismissed when the user presses any buttons on device even volume buttons. I hope it's better by the time when iOS26 is officially released but I can't prepare for the new iOS update with this useless new framework. does anybody know what new features in this framework are coming up?

Hi all, Im trying to upload an app to the App Store, the app is made in Unity, well I built the app there and then open the Xcode project, from there set some fields and now when I have to go to Product>> Archive I get an error always, could you please tell me what is this and how to fix? unsupported option -mno- thumb for target arm64-apple-ios 15.6 Im using Xcode 16.4 which I think is the latest version released. Hello, I installed iOS 26 beta 1 yesterday when it came off but now, when I plug my iPhone, it just do nothing. I can charge it via the induction charger but I can't via USB-C port. The other way I can charge it is by turning my iPhone off and plugging it so it starts and then it charges via USB-C Port even when it starts. The thing is that when I unplug the cable and try to plug it back in, it doesn't charge anymore... I tried to put the restore mode (with the Mac and the cable on the screen) and even the DFU Mode but the iPhone is not detected by my Macbook and it's the same thing for my Windows PC : not detected... I also tried to erase the settings and content but same issue... Not charging Apple Store can do nothing because it's a dev beta... Am I the only one to have that issue ?

Installed the iOS 26 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro last night, hated it. I wasn't aware that there is a supported way of restoring back to iOS18.5, so I (foolishly) opted to flash the iOS18.5 ispw file onto my device using a 3rd party tool. Now, my device is stuck in a state between. Unable to flash, unable to use itunes to restore, randomly gives error codes during restoration attempts. Worries my device may be lost permanently! Please advise.

The Uber Driver app is able to get background location and there’s no way to turn it off from settings. Unlike other apps where there’s always an option to turn off background location from settings. Is this a bug or special treatment for big companies? this matters to me because we’re in a similar business but our app has to request background permissions, explicitly. I am attaching both of the screenshots here for you to compare and see. Please note that I verified personally that Uber Driver app is able to get background location.

Maybe a bit of a simplistic question, but…. Best ways to create music - programmatically - within an app? I have a few small, simple games that I would like to add some background music to. I’ve fiddled with AVAudio, SKAudio, and now AudioKit. I’m just not quite finding the holy grail of music generation. I don’t know if it’s more technique or tool. So I thought I’d hit up the pool of minds here for some suggestions…?

Hello there I have got into a bit of an issue with the Apple TV 4k 3rd Gen with Ethernet . So I installed the iOS 26 beta to try out the new changes I usually do this on Apple TVs but in this case it has a bug where my apple music randomly skipped to the next songs . So after some bit of reading I got to know that the apple TV as a recovery mode which could be accessed by pressing home and pause/play buttons . After getting there I was required to bring an iPhone close to start the recovery process which I did but somehow that process always failed I tried to plug in the Ethernet cable since my apple TV is literally 3-5 inches away from my main router I even tried the recommended option of switching to a 2.4ghz connection but nothing worked . I would think that by apple getting rid of the USB ports on these things they had a reliable method of recovery in case of error because these are computers they are bound to fail at some point . So for now am stuck with a boot looping apple TV without a port and I don't even know how that too came about since the recovery process barely starts and fails. Ps am in Africa where we have no apple stores so we usually deal with our products ourselves

Hello, I created a particular ray tracing based photo/video capture app for iPhone (which causes me several headaches in finding the optimal configuration) that which often offers very soft and visually beautiful shots but is trapped in the usual oblivion of apps from unknown developers. While it is true that on the one hand the fact that almost no one downloads your app even if it is free can save you from several gaffes in the early days, in the long run it becomes depressing. So I thought of creating something that could be an incentive to try the app. Not having money to invest in prizes for contests or much more pragmatically in advertising, I thought of adding a function where you can see the best photos taken in your area and vote for them and, if you want, add a photo taken in the competition. Do you think it could be a nice idea? It's true that the problem itself is to overcome the wall of 0 downloads, where your app is neither successful nor unsuccessful because in fact nobody tries it, but without money for advertising I don't have many other ideas... I recent installed IOS 26, with my iphone 15 as a machine. I am experiencing glitch on switching apps, switching users in a specific apps. Delay is also visible when unlocking the phone, typing, touching the screen, going back to the previous app (clicking the arrow button on the top left). When using a two fingers navigating the phone, the other finger is unrecognizable when clicking on to something. Overall, UI were elegant and amazing. Please fix the responsiveness and may consider lower versions of iphone when possible.
