In PDFKit on MacOS, if you create a PDFView and matching Thumbnail View, and then set the PDFView to Horizontal: selecting the thumbnail no longer move the PDFView to the correct page. It works for all styles of View (Two Page Continuous, etc) in Vertical orientation.

I have a Macbook and a Mac Mini at home, connected with Universal Control. When I copy-paste some big group of files (say, 250GB of photos) the OS creates a copy of all those files under shared-clipboard in Library (filling up disk space in short time) even if I don't even move the cursor to other devices. It doesn't even delete those files and clear up disk space even after I paste it. This is a design flaw, it shouldn't be like this.

(6) Check current result of "Default web browser" in System Settings again. What is the expected result? The "Default web browser" should still be Edge Canary. What happens instead? The "Default web browser" in System Settings will change to Arc. But this time, when you click the link from Notes, it will open in Safari, which means that "Default web browser is shown as Arc, but it is actually Safari. It is worth noting that if you start Edge Mac in step (3) and then set it as Default Browser in the "edge://settings/defaultBrowser" page, this problem will not occur after the update is completed. Hi everyone, I updated my iPhone 16 Pro to iOS 26 beta and my Apple Watch to watchOS 26 beta because I wanted to test out the new features. After a few days of testing, I found the iOS 26 beta too unstable and laggy for daily use, so I downgraded my iPhone back to iOS 18.5 stable. Now my Apple Watch is still running watchOS 26 beta. I tried resetting it to factory settings, hoping that would help, but now I can’t pair it back to my iPhone because it requires iOS 26 again — which I don’t want to reinstall and don't want to use it till it's stable. Is there any way to downgrade my Apple Watch back to a stable version or somehow pair it again with my iPhone running iOS 18.5? Thanks in advance for any help!

I started this process on January 1st. On January 18th, I received an email from Apple stating that the developer team "must speak with me" to move forward. I don't know if this is the right place to raise this, so apologies if not. For years now, I have exported an NFS share from a host Mac which I connect to from a Raspberry Pi on the same network. I configure this by adding a line in /etc/exports - /Users/Pi -mapall=myusername This has always worked flawlessly, but since updating my Mac (M4 Mac Mini) to Sequoia 15.5 last week, it has developed a problem. If the NFS share is not accessed from the Pi for five minutes, it dies, and the Pi's file manager locks up necessitating a complete reboot. If I run a script on the PI which does an ls on the mounted share every 5 minutes, the lockup does not happen. But if I extend the period to 6 minutes, the lockup occurs. Something on the Mac NFS server seems to be dying in an unrecoverable fashion after five minutes of idle. Even with nfsd logging set to verbose, there is nothing helpful in the console logs. I am open to suggestions to further investigate or to try and fix this, but this is basically a showstopper for me - I need to be able to share data between Mac and Pi, and this is now broken.

Steps to Reproduce: Run any app from AppStore that shows "Save Password" alert. Enter any credentials and tap Login, iOS shows the system “Save Password?” alert. Without interacting with the alert, swipe up to the Home screen (or open the App Switcher). Reactivate the app. Tap the text field in the app.

I’ve gathered system logs and app-level diagnostics and would really appreciate insight from anyone familiar with daemons, VPN tunnels, or MDM behavior on Apple platforms. Summary of Issues Over Time March 2025: Most apps begin logging out automatically when closed April 2025: Passwords across apps and browsers begin failing May–June 2025: Gmail password reset emails stop arriving (even though other email works) These symptoms suggest something affecting secure sessions, DNS routing, or background data handling. I began running diagnostics and found unexpected system and network behaviors: Examples: com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted file_relay.shim.remote pcapd.shim.remote webinspector.shim.remote bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote On a normal, non-jailbroken device, I wouldn't expect so many .shim.remote or .diagnostic services to be active. Is this expected on iOS 18.5? The binary /usr/sbin/scutil appears to be missing. This breaks commands like: scutil --dns scutil --proxy scutil --nc list On a standard iOS device, is it even possible for scutil to be removed or disabled? App Behavior and Config Locking (Cloudflare WARP Log) From the logs of the Cloudflare WARP app (not enterprise-managed): The app repeatedly forces VPN tunnels to reconnect or restart by injecting dummy URLs (force OS to restart the network extension process). It tries to load policy configuration from MDM and Teams APIs (even though no MDM appears in Settings). Many config items are marked as: locked: true, visible: true including: DNS logs Fallback DNS Trusted WiFi settings The account is labeled as: WarpAccountRole.child which may explain some restrictions — but I’ve never set this manually. This seems more advanced than what the standard WARP app does. Could a provisioning profile or side-loaded config be applying these? Key Questions for the Community Are ~50 remote diagnostic services (.shim.remote) normal on iOS 18.5 stock devices? Could a VPN app (e.g. WARP) or hidden config enforce flow-switching across interfaces like ipsec, awdl, and pdp_ip, even when not visibly active? After recently updating my MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021, M1 Pro) to macOS Sequoia (15.6), my docking station sporadically disconnects and reconnects about once every 1-5 minutes. This causes my external screens to switch off for about a second, and my external drive to disconnect. This has (obviously) completely broken my workflow, and I've had to resort to connecting two screens directly to the MacBook. I've had to completely disconnect the external drive for fear of corrupting due to the sudden disconnects. I've seen other people report the same or similar issues here, and other places. I've tried all kinds of fixes suggested on various forums (reinstalled drivers, cleared preference files, etc.) without any luck. To be frank, this is a completely unacceptable bug that needs to be fixed ASAP. I cannot accept that installing an os update completely breaks something as fundamental as connecting to external devices via a docker. Especially when this worked completely fine on macOS 13, and I was essentially forced to update because the (working) macOS 13 was no longer supported.
