Screen Sharing failures after installing MacOS 26 Beta 2
Upgraded my M1 Mac mini from MacOS Tahoe 26 Beta to Beta 2. Prior to the update I had no problem connecting to the Max mini from my MacBook Pro M2 running Now, attempting to connect to the Mac mini from a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.5. After the update, I can enter my password, but then I am disconnected with the error "This Mac was unable to start a High Performance connection to the Mac mini" and to "change the screen sharing type to standard and try again" Connecting via a "Standard" connection showed that the Window Server failed.

TVOS - App Data Stored in Shared App Groups not removing after deletion of apps
Hi, Having a weird issue that I’m noticing on Apple TVs with some apps that are by the same company. I think it’s storing residual user data if if you delete the app and all other apps relating to this. I have even tried deleting every app and reinstalling but we found two apps to be still logged in. Seams like a sandboxing bug and I presume it’s to do with App data stored in the shared app groups. I can only reset the apple tv to remove the user data. The two apps we can see are being persistent is Binge and Kayo by streamotion. We have tried problem solving this in every way imaginable but it’s Interesting that this is allowed to happen on an Apple platform. There is no active user logged into the apple TV with an Apple ID either

CSV or TSV file in Numbers app
Hi Everybody knows about how this kind of files works. My issue is about trying to load data from these files to a HTML page. Everything works, I can read and use this data on my project however the records I have in Numbers, text where there are commas for punctuation, will be separated when this file is loaded. The comma is breaking the records, I know this is a CSV file but is there a way to set semicolon as delimiter on Mac or Numbers to be able to use the comma in my records without any issue? Also could be another symbol, but definitely I need the commas. thank you!

iPadOS System Data Bug – Storage Ballooning 30–90GB (iPad Pro M4, iPadOS 17–18.6.2)
📢 Complaint: Severe “System Data” ballooning bug on iPad Pro M4 (iPadOS 17 → 18.6.2). “System Data” (formerly “Other”) grows abnormally from ~3 GB → 70–90 GB in just months. Deleting files, exporting PDFs, uninstalling apps, or clearing trash does not free space. The only “fix” Apple Support suggests is erase & restore — which works temporarily but always comes back within 1–3 months. 🔎 Problem Summary • Growth: 3 GB → 40 GB (1 month) → 58 GB (2 months) → 70 GB+ (3 months). • After erase: drops temporarily, then climbs again. • Multiple resets done — issue always returns. • Confirmed across users (see YouTube: ajXyDCLoLOA, cnOGeI8X-Fc). • Apple Support Case IDs filed (master: 102671138516). • Feedback Assistant report: FB19812484. 📝 Steps to Reproduce (consistent) 1. GoodNotes – Export/merge PDFs, sync large files → System Data grows even after clearing trash. 2. DocScanner (Lufick) – Import + delete scans → cache remains. 3. Apple Scan to PDF / Files – Scan 24 images, merge, delete originals → System Data increases 2–3× file size. 4. External drives (NTFS/exFAT) – Just plugging in causes spikes. 5. Photos Recycle Bin bug – Deleting files increases System Data. ⚠️ Impact • iPad becomes unusable every few months as storage fills. • GoodNotes syncs (30GB+) require full reinstall → takes >1 day. • Device has even frozen on Apple logo (Case: 102456432522). • Breaks productivity workflows: scanning, exporting, file transfers all trigger ballooning. ❌ Apple’s Responses So Far • Force restart → no effect. • Uninstall/reinstall apps → cache remains. • Format → temporary relief only. • “Stop using pen drive” → not a solution. • “Keep reporting” → no updates received. Translation: Apple provides no real tool to manage System Data. Users are stuck in endless erase/restore cycles. 🎯 Request to Apple 1. Add “Clear System Data / Clear Cache” option in Settings. 2. Fix caching bugs in GoodNotes, DocScanner, Scan to PDF, and Files. 3. Ensure deleted files + app data are actually purged. 4. Provide transparency: show what System Data contains (caches, logs, orphaned DBs). 5. Improve external storage handling — plugging in drives should not balloon space. 📌 Final Note This is not expected behavior. It’s a design flaw in iPadOS storage management. On macOS, users have visibility into caches and cleanup tools. On iPadOS, everything is hidden. Without proper cache controls, iPad Pro cannot be a reliable “Pro” device — only one that forces constant resets. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ACT4OtMrFQYciiJg6N4ENriMbnvAcNgc/view?usp=drivesdk

Network filtering/VPN configurations not working
Hello, I'm experiencing issues with multiple apps on macOS related to network-related tasks. FIrst, I had problems with the network filter on Avast security. It told me to allow net work filtering, so I pressed the popup button that said allow filtering, but did nothing and gave me a error. Later on, on Nord VPN didnt work aswell, when I had to grant permission to configure a VPN. It didn't even give me a description of the error, just said something went wrong. I contacted NordVPN support, which didnt do anything exept for telling me to uninstall avast and restart my mac, which I did but was useless. Please help me.

macOS 26 Beta 1 on MacPro7,1 – WindowServer crash when opening Finder
I’m running macOS 26 Beta 1 (build 25A5279m) on a 2019 Mac Pro (MacPro7,1) with a single 4K display connected via HDMI. Whenever I attempt to launch Finder, WindowServer immediately aborts and the machine reboots. Crash details: Process: WindowServer (PID 1441) Exception: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) triggered in thread 0 (ws_main_thread) Termination Reason: Abort trap: 6 Backtrace highlights: CA::OGL::MetalContext::draw(MTLPrimitiveType, …) hits an internal __assert_rtn in libsystem_c.dylib Subsequent calls all stem from QuartzCore’s OpenGL/Metal bridge (CA::OGL::render_layers, LayerNode::apply, etc.) Related threads: Thread 2 (com.apple.coreanimation.render-server) idle in mach_msg_overwrite Thread 1 shows AmbientDisplay and ColorSync callbacks running Hardware/Software: MacPro7,1 (2019) macOS 26.0 Beta 1 (25A5279m) 4K monitor via HDMI System Integrity Protection enabled What I’ve tried so far: Safe-boot (crash still occurs) Switching display profiles in System Settings → Displays → Color (no effect) Happy to provide any additional logs or verbose console output. Let me know if there’s any other data that would help diagnose the Metal/OpenGL integration issue in this beta.

Apple, please protect developers' legitimate rights.
As developers of an app with a free basic version and a paid premium version, we recently received a malicious review on our premium app. The review falsely accused our app of being a scam and baselessly claimed it was error-ridden. This comment is clearly malicious and designed to dissuade other users from purchasing our app. The most critical point is that we haven’t had any sales records in that region recently. In response to this review, we promptly contacted Apple Support but received only a generic, templated response stating that no action would be taken. We followed up with another complaint about the review, but it was still dismissed. Apple Support provided a link to their guidelines, and within those guidelines, we found specific clauses that Apple should act upon in cases like this. We sent another email pointing this out, but we’ve received no response since. It feels like developers are left defenseless against such malicious reviews. When we face these attacks, there’s no fair judgment, and Apple doesn’t uphold the very policies it has set to protect developers’ rights. If this continues, how can developers trust this platform to safeguard their basic interests?

iPad Pro M1 unable to connect to external devices after updating to iPadOS 26 Beta 5/6
I usually connect my iPad Pro M1 to an external monitor via the USB-C port without any issues. However, after updating to iPadOS 26 Beta 5 and now Beta 6, the connection no longer works. To troubleshoot, I tested other devices and setups: Tried connecting a wireless mouse via a 2.4GHz USB receiver - no response. Tried connecting the iPad to my MacBook via USB-C to USB-C cable - not recognized. Both the external monitor and mouse still work perfectly with my MacBook Air (macOS 18.6). This leads me to believe there may be a problem with the iPad’s USB-C data transfer functionality. I’ve checked the iPadOS 26 Beta Release Notes and found no mention of this issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Has Apple acknowledged it or provided any updates? Thanks for your help!
