StoreKit entitlement not included in provisioning profiles despite In-App Purchase enabled
I’m running into an issue where the com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement is not being included in provisioning profiles, even though my App ID is properly configured for In-App Purchase. Entitlements file: explicitly includes <key>com.apple.developer.storekit</key> <true/> Capability: In-App Purchase is enabled in the Apple Developer Portal and shows as “Enabled.” What I’ve tried: Automatic signing in Xcode → profiles generated, but missing com.apple.developer.storekit Manual signing → deleted and recreated provisioning profiles multiple times; entitlement still missing. Waited several hours for possible propagation. Verified that my in-app purchase products are set up correctly. Error message: Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: zu.inniu" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement Question: Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a step I might be missing to get StoreKit entitlements included in provisioning profiles, or could this be a backend issue that needs escalation through Apple DTS? DriverKit: embedded.mobileprofile has the wildcard USB Vendor ID instead of my assigned Vendor ID
I've added my Vendor ID to the appropriate entitlement files but my binary fails validation when trying to upload it to the store for distribution. The embeded.mobileprovision file in the generated archive shows an asterisk instead of my approved Vendor ID. How can I make sure the embedded provisioning file has my Vendor ID?

Apple Notarization: Long running notarization jobs / day limitation
Dear Apple support, Since the last couple of days, we have some (very) long running notarization requests. Similar requests were done normally under 1 minute. This behavior is unexpected to us, and we did not see it before. The issue occurs for a small CLI tool submitted as a ZIP archive. Checking the documentation, I come across the section about "Avoid long notarization response times and size limits" (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/security/customizing-the-notarization-workflow#Avoid-long-notarization-response-times-and-size-limits). One fact is mentioned “Limit notarizations to 75 per day.” What is behavior if that limitation is reached? Is that limitation per Apple ID or per team ID? Signed application crashed at launch
We are building an installer application to install a dext. Building in Xcode, the installer app launches fine locally and installs the dext. We then try to sign it with the company Developer ID application certificate. Looking at the Console, we are seeing the following message at launch: "Unsatisfied entitlements: com.apple.developer.system-extension.install, com.apple.developer.driverkit". However, the entitlement file I am using to sign the installer app contains those entitlements. We are looking at different possible issues for days now and can't figure it out. Any advice or thought would be appreciated.

Xcode:Automatic signing failed
In xcode, the signing&amp;capabilities TAB for ios says: Automatic signing failed Xcode failed to provision this target. Please file a bug report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and include the Update Signing report from the Report navigator. Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.kikk.morsecode" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase entitlement. Even though I've already configured the corresponding Certificates, Identifiers &amp; Profiles in developer Does anyone have the same problem? My Version of xcode is Version 15.4 (15F31d), running on m2pro.

Endpoint Security entitlement while in dev
I'm working on a system extension leveraging endpoint security entitlement. However, while in development, is there a way to continue working and testing locally without having the endpoint security entitlement approved or needing the extension signed. I got these errors running a build: Provisioning profile "Mac Team Provisioning Profile: "com.xxxxx.extension" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.endpoint-security.client entitlement.

App works fine in development but crashes in hardened runtime
I am building an application using .NET and Avalonia UI. The application is cross-platform. One of the tasks of the application is to coordinate data collection that is then routed into a Docker container for analysis. Everything works as expected in Windows. Everything works as expected in macOS on the development workstation and before packaging. After I package/codesign into a hardened runtime, I start seeing crashes at the moment when I try to execute the system calls to Docker. I am reasonably confident that this has something to do with an entitlement flag or some other permissions issue. I have been trying to sort this on my own for a while. I am only hoping someone can nudge me in the right direction. Thanks, Kevin

Certificate Active in Keychain and I think Xcode but Not Recognized by VS Code / Flutter on macOS Tahoe (macOS 15)
Hi, hoping someone can help here. I recently updated my Mac to macOS 15 (Tahoe) and am using Xcode 15+ (possibly 16). I’m working on a Flutter app and testing on a real iPhone device. Here's the situation: I’m using the free Apple Developer account. My signing certificate and provisioning profile both show as valid and active in Keychain and says "signing..." in Xcode. When I build and run the app from Xcode, it works completely fine on a simulator. But when I try to run the same project from VS Code using flutter run, whether on an simulator phone or my personal iphone, I get a code signing error, specifically: Failed to codesign Flutter.framework with identity... I believe the app is set to use the correct Team ID because it says my name and (team) (my team ID isBDKUKWVRBY), and I can see my certificate in Keychain under "My Certificates". What I’ve already tried: flutter clean pod install / pod update Manually selecting my team in Xcode Signing settings Restarting my machine and VS Code Confirming the same project builds on other machines Verified provisioning profile is assigned to the project in Xcode deleting and recreating a certificate I have even had AI inside VS code take a shot at it and that couldn't fix either My question: Why would VS Code / Flutter not be able to use the same certificate and signing setup that works in Xcode? Is this an issue with Flutter tooling on macOS 15, or do I need to reconfigure signing differently now? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated!

Xcode archive DriverKit application
I am trying to build a release for an application that installs a DriverKit driver. I created a Developer ID Application Profile with a valid certificate but I'm coming across this error in Xcode 16.3 that is preventing me from archiving: Xcode 14 and later requires a DriverKit development profile enabled for iOS and macOS. Visit the developer website to create or download a DriverKit profile. I thought I needed a Dev ID Application profile to distribute the application and that a Development profile is for testing. Is there something I'm missing?

Can't fix "Provisioning profile doesn't include com.apple.InAppPurchase entitlement" even after resetting everything
Hi everyone, I’ve been struggling for days with a recurring issue in my iOS app build. The build fails with the following error: Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.myapp.bundleid" doesn't include the com.apple.InAppPurchase entitlement. Here’s what I’ve already tried: Created a new Bundle ID with correct capabilities (In-App Purchase, Push Notifications, Sign in with Apple). Created a new provisioning profile manually from Apple Developer Console. Used EAS CLI (Expo) and Xcode to regenerate all certificates and provisioning profiles. Ensured that the In-App Purchase capability is enabled in the App ID (it's greyed out but enabled). Made sure all subscriptions and products in App Store Connect are “Ready to Submit”. Followed all steps from RevenueCat and Apple documentation. Cleaned entitlements in .entitlements file and tried both and variations. Tried building both locally and with EAS – same error every time. Sent multiple tickets to Apple Developer Support, but no helpful reply yet. Extra Notes: I'm using react-native-purchases and RevenueCat, already integrated and working before this started. The error began randomly; before that, I was able to build successfully with in-app purchases. Even creating a completely fresh app from scratch results in the same entitlement missing error. Has anyone faced this exact problem where the provisioning profile fails to include com.apple.InAppPurchase, even though everything is correctly set up? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Account Shows to "Enroll" again after I submitted Mac app for Notarization
I submitted a mac app for Notarization. For the first few tries the Notarization failed with an error "Team is not yet configured for Notarization" but few days after my account started to show "ENROLL" option again even though my membership was set to expire on 2026. I am doubting my account has been suspended. I have not received any emails from apple regarding the suspension. I have contacted support but no help yet ! This was the second year, i was paying for the membership. Could you please help me to - Help me get the account unsuspended (if it is, as there is no notification or information regarding this) If the account is suspended due to my app being submitted for Notarization then help me identify the reason so that i can fix them. Mac App is Time Tracking application that runs in background and capture periodic screenshot(NOTE - I am doing this after taking user consent)

codesign command failed - Requirement syntax error - unexpected token
I am trying to distribute my Unity app to test flight. Bundle ID is: com.Squaricon.TondoJigsaw2 When I change bundle ID to com.testasd.TondoJigsaw2 (I do this in Xcode before archiving) that error disappears and I reach the part where I have to pick language. Even though this is not the solution, I think it is interesting, it implies issue might be with Bundle ID but this bundle ID is correct. I am using "automatically manage signing", I did not create any provisioning profile or certificate manually.

CI - Warning: unable to build chain to self-signed root for signer
I am able to sign my application when logged in to the machine, however when build is running in CI (Jenkins), I get this: "Warning: unable to build chain to self-signed root for signer.." We just renewed or certificates, so I am not sure about previous procedure, but it used to work without temporary keychain and stuff, I believe. What should be the recommended way to sign an application on CI? What keychain should we use? system? temporary? other method? Thanks, Itay

NotaryTool failing with invalid server certificate
Hi All. I'm having a notarization issue trying to get a product built. Starting around the beginning of April, I have a notarization process failing every time with an invalid server certificate. The returned error is: Error: HTTPError(statusCode: nil, error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1202 "The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “notary-artifacts-prod.s3.amazonaws.com” which could put your confidential information at risk." UserInfo={NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Would you like to connect to the server anyway?, _kCFStreamErrorDomainKey=3, NSErrorPeerCertificateChainKey=( "<cert(0x107810200) s: *.s3.amazonaws.com i: Amazon RSA 2048 M01>", "<cert(0x107810c00) s: Amazon RSA 2048 M01 i: Amazon Root CA 1>", "<cert(0x107811400) s: Amazon Root CA 1 i: Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2>", "<cert(0x107811c00) s: Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2 i: Starfield Class 2 Certification Authority>" The problem certificate appears to be "Amazon RSA 2048 M01" which appears to be expired. The error fires in response to an 'xcrun notarytool log' command. The initial ' xcrun notarytool submit' has already worked. The build server in this case is running Jenkins, with a Makefile driven notarization stage. It all worked perfectly until a build on April 3rd, all builds have failed since. I have tried using '--no-s3-acceleration'. But that fails even faster with: Conducting pre-submission checks for ICFA.zip and initiating connection to the Apple notary service... Submission ID received id: d50a2157-7acb-4bd6-b1d1-6d0b1d52d5c9 Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (Network.NWError error 2.) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Right now I have folks needing a valid build. Thanks in advance.

I can't distribute the build to Testflight
Hi the best community! Migrating Identifier from non-team prefix within single account
Hello, In our Account we have an iOS app with an explicit identifier "ABC123.com.some.app" that is using non-team prefix which is DEF456. It has also explicit identifiers for Widgets bundle and Notification Service. Due to non-team prefix, it can't access e.g. shared keychain and data put there by our other apps. Since we are working on features that require these capabilities, we would like to update the app identifier, so it is prefixed with our team id DEF456. Initially, we thought that the process would require steps like: Create new app, team-prefixed identifier(s) for app and all things that need them Recreate the provisioning profiles with new App Identifier Roll out the app using with new profiles via App Store but when trying to create the new identifier with com.some.app and team id prefix DEF456 we are getting following error: An App ID with Identifier com.some.app is not available. Please enter a different string. Can anybody advise us how to correctly perform such change and what steps are required from our end? We would like to keep our existing App Store entry, ratings and smoothly switch users. We are aware that this kind of migration results in loss of Keychain access. Thanks for any advice on that!

After years, notarytool now cannot find Keychain item
For years, I've been shipping my apps with a Perl script that now invokes notarytool to get the notarization, using this command /usr/bin/xcrun notarytool submit --apple-id jerry@sheepsystems.com --keychain-profile SSYShipProduct --team-id 4MAMECY9VS --output-format json /Users/jk/blah/blah/MyApp.zip --wait I used this script with this command several times during September 2024 to ship my apps, and it worked. But now, the above command fails with: Error: No Keychain password item found for profile: SSYShipProduct Run 'notarytool store-credentials' to create another credential profile. Of course, I am now running later versions of macOS beta and Xcode than I was in September. Does anyone know the problem? Screenshots from Terminal and Keychain Access are attached. Thank you.

Codesigning in Europe still doesn't work with IPv6
I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why codesigning was failing -- I had the pf block set up correctly, my keychains were unlocked, and then, eventually, it occurred to me, hey, maybe an IP address changed, so I disabled IPv6 except for link local, and then amazingly, it went back to working. I filed FB13706261 over a year ago. This is ridiculous.

Signed application crashed at launch
We are building an installer application to install a dext. Building in Xcode, the installer app launches fine locally and installs the dext. We then try to sign it with the company Developer ID application certificate. Error Formulating Crash Report: dyld_process_snapshot_get_shared_cache failed Following the different help pages from Apple, the application seems to be correctly signed. Looking at the Console, we are seeing the following message at launch: "Unsatisfied entitlements: com.apple.developer.system-extension.install, com.apple.developer.driverkit". However, the entitlement file I am using to sign the installer app contains those entitlements. We are looking at different possible issues for days now and can't figure it out. Any advice or thought would be appreciated.

Xcode:Automatic signing failed
In xcode, the signing&amp;capabilities TAB for ios says: Automatic signing failed Xcode failed to provision this target. Please file a bug report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and include the Update Signing report from the Report navigator. Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.kikk.morsecode" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase entitlement. Even though I've already configured the corresponding Certificates, Identifiers &amp; Profiles in developer Does anyone have the same problem? My Version of xcode is Version 15.4 (15F31d), running on m2pro.

Endpoint Security entitlement while in dev
I'm working on a system extension leveraging endpoint security entitlement. However, while in development, is there a way to continue working and testing locally without having the endpoint security entitlement approved or needing the extension signed. I got these errors running a build: Provisioning profile "Mac Team Provisioning Profile: "com.xxxxx.extension" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.endpoint-security.client entitlement.

App works fine in development but crashes in hardened runtime
I am building an application using .NET and Avalonia UI. The application is cross-platform. One of the tasks of the application is to coordinate data collection that is then routed into a Docker container for analysis. Everything works as expected in Windows. Everything works as expected in macOS on the development workstation and before packaging. After I package/codesign into a hardened runtime, I start seeing crashes at the moment when I try to execute the system calls to Docker. I am reasonably confident that this has something to do with an entitlement flag or some other permissions issue. I have been trying to sort this on my own for a while. I am only hoping someone can nudge me in the right direction. Thanks, Kevin

Certificate Active in Keychain and I think Xcode but Not Recognized by VS Code / Flutter on macOS Tahoe (macOS 15)
Hi, hoping someone can help here. I recently updated my Mac to macOS 15 (Tahoe) and am using Xcode 15+ (possibly 16). I’m working on a Flutter app and testing on a real iPhone device. Here's the situation: I’m using the free Apple Developer account. My signing certificate and provisioning profile both show as valid and active in Keychain and says "signing..." in Xcode. When I build and run the app from Xcode, it works completely fine on a simulator. But when I try to run the same project from VS Code using flutter run, whether on an simulator phone or my personal iphone, I get a code signing error, specifically: Failed to codesign Flutter.framework with identity... I believe the app is set to use the correct Team ID because it says my name and (team) (my team ID isBDKUKWVRBY), and I can see my certificate in Keychain under "My Certificates". What I’ve already tried: flutter clean pod install / pod update Manually selecting my team in Xcode Signing settings Restarting my machine and VS Code Confirming the same project builds on other machines Verified provisioning profile is assigned to the project in Xcode deleting and recreating a certificate I have even had AI inside VS code take a shot at it and that couldn't fix either My question: Why would VS Code / Flutter not be able to use the same certificate and signing setup that works in Xcode? Is this an issue with Flutter tooling on macOS 15, or do I need to reconfigure signing differently now? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated!

Xcode archive DriverKit application
I am trying to build a release for an application that installs a DriverKit driver. I created a Developer ID Application Profile with a valid certificate but I'm coming across this error in Xcode 16.3 that is preventing me from archiving: Xcode 14 and later requires a DriverKit development profile enabled for iOS and macOS. Visit the developer website to create or download a DriverKit profile. I thought I needed a Dev ID Application profile to distribute the application and that a Development profile is for testing. Is there something I'm missing?

Can't fix "Provisioning profile doesn't include com.apple.InAppPurchase entitlement" even after resetting everything
Hi everyone, I’ve been struggling for days with a recurring issue in my iOS app build. The build fails with the following error: Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.myapp.bundleid" doesn't include the com.apple.InAppPurchase entitlement. Here’s what I’ve already tried: Created a new Bundle ID with correct capabilities (In-App Purchase, Push Notifications, Sign in with Apple). Created a new provisioning profile manually from Apple Developer Console. Used EAS CLI (Expo) and Xcode to regenerate all certificates and provisioning profiles. Ensured that the In-App Purchase capability is enabled in the App ID (it's greyed out but enabled). Made sure all subscriptions and products in App Store Connect are “Ready to Submit”. Followed all steps from RevenueCat and Apple documentation. Cleaned entitlements in .entitlements file and tried both and variations. Tried building both locally and with EAS – same error every time. Sent multiple tickets to Apple Developer Support, but no helpful reply yet. Extra Notes: I'm using react-native-purchases and RevenueCat, already integrated and working before this started. The error began randomly; before that, I was able to build successfully with in-app purchases. Even creating a completely fresh app from scratch results in the same entitlement missing error. Has anyone faced this exact problem where the provisioning profile fails to include com.apple.InAppPurchase, even though everything is correctly set up? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Account Shows to "Enroll" again after I submitted Mac app for Notarization
I submitted a mac app for Notarization. For the first few tries the Notarization failed with an error "Team is not yet configured for Notarization" but few days after my account started to show "ENROLL" option again even though my membership was set to expire on 2026. I am doubting my account has been suspended. I have not received any emails from apple regarding the suspension. I have contacted support but no help yet ! This was the second year, i was paying for the membership. Could you please help me to - Help me get the account unsuspended (if it is, as there is no notification or information regarding this) If the account is suspended due to my app being submitted for Notarization then help me identify the reason so that i can fix them. Mac App is Time Tracking application that runs in background and capture periodic screenshot(NOTE - I am doing this after taking user consent)

codesign command failed - Requirement syntax error - unexpected token
I am trying to distribute my Unity app to test flight. Build works on iPhone locally, archiving also works but when I start distribution to test flight I get this Error codesign command failed (/var/folders/gn/ql1bht8j2z7b18b3xtt0j7rr0000gn/T/XcodeDistPipeline.~~~2gmyFJ/Root/Payload/TondoJigsaw2.app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework: replacing existing signature /var/folders/gn/ql1bht8j2z7b18b3xtt0j7rr0000gn/T/XcodeDistPipeline.~~~2gmyFJ/Root/Payload/TondoJigsaw2.app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework: invalid or corrupted code requirement(s) Requirement syntax error(s): line 1:152: unexpected token: sQuaricon ) I am not sure what is the problem Team name is: “sQuaricon” Name Surname s.p. Bundle ID is: com.Squaricon.TondoJigsaw2 When I change bundle ID to com.testasd.TondoJigsaw2 (I do this in Xcode before archiving) that error disappears and I reach the part where I have to pick language. Even though this is not the solution, I think it is interesting, it implies issue might be with Bundle ID but this bundle ID is correct. I am using "automatically manage signing", I did not create any provisioning profile or certificate manually.

CI - Warning: unable to build chain to self-signed root for signer
I am able to sign my application when logged in to the machine, however when build is running in CI (Jenkins), I get this: "Warning: unable to build chain to self-signed root for signer.." We just renewed or certificates, so I am not sure about previous procedure, but it used to work without temporary keychain and stuff, I believe. What should be the recommended way to sign an application on CI? What keychain should we use? system? temporary? other method? Thanks, Itay

NotaryTool failing with invalid server certificate
Hi All. I'm having a notarization issue trying to get a product built. Starting around the beginning of April, I have a notarization process failing every time with an invalid server certificate. The returned error is: Error: HTTPError(statusCode: nil, error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1202 "The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “notary-artifacts-prod.s3.amazonaws.com” which could put your confidential information at risk." UserInfo={NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Would you like to connect to the server anyway?, _kCFStreamErrorDomainKey=3, NSErrorPeerCertificateChainKey=( "<cert(0x107810200) s: *.s3.amazonaws.com i: Amazon RSA 2048 M01>", "<cert(0x107810c00) s: Amazon RSA 2048 M01 i: Amazon Root CA 1>", "<cert(0x107811400) s: Amazon Root CA 1 i: Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2>", "<cert(0x107811c00) s: Starfield Services Root Certificate Authority - G2 i: Starfield Class 2 Certification Authority>" The problem certificate appears to be "Amazon RSA 2048 M01" which appears to be expired. The error fires in response to an 'xcrun notarytool log' command. The initial ' xcrun notarytool submit' has already worked. The build server in this case is running Jenkins, with a Makefile driven notarization stage. It all worked perfectly until a build on April 3rd, all builds have failed since. I have tried using '--no-s3-acceleration'. But that fails even faster with: Conducting pre-submission checks for ICFA.zip and initiating connection to the Apple notary service... Submission ID received id: d50a2157-7acb-4bd6-b1d1-6d0b1d52d5c9 Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (Network.NWError error 2.) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I can't distribute the build to Testflight
Hi the best community! Xcode Version 16.0 I assume that there is something related to code signing and our company name in App Store connect: Medical Institution “NPH” (The company name has been anonymized for privacy purposes.) Migrating Identifier from non-team prefix within single account
Hello, In our Account we have an iOS app with an explicit identifier "ABC123.com.some.app" that is using non-team prefix which is DEF456. It has also explicit identifiers for Widgets bundle and Notification Service. Due to non-team prefix, it can't access e.g. shared keychain and data put there by our other apps. Since we are working on features that require these capabilities, we would like to update the app identifier, so it is prefixed with our team id DEF456. Initially, we thought that the process would require steps like: Create new app, team-prefixed identifier(s) for app and all things that need them Recreate the provisioning profiles with new App Identifier Roll out the app using with new profiles via App Store but when trying to create the new identifier with com.some.app and team id prefix DEF456 we are getting following error: An App ID with Identifier com.some.app is not available. Please enter a different string. Can anybody advise us how to correctly perform such change and what steps are required from our end? We would like to keep our existing App Store entry, ratings and smoothly switch users. We are aware that this kind of migration results in loss of Keychain access. Thanks for any advice on that!

After years, notarytool now cannot find Keychain item
For years, I've been shipping my apps with a Perl script that now invokes notarytool to get the notarization, using this command /usr/bin/xcrun notarytool submit --apple-id jerry@sheepsystems.com --keychain-profile SSYShipProduct --team-id 4MAMECY9VS --output-format json /Users/jk/blah/blah/MyApp.zip --wait I used this script with this command several times during September 2024 to ship my apps, and it worked. But now, the above command fails with: Error: No Keychain password item found for profile: SSYShipProduct Run 'notarytool store-credentials' to create another credential profile. Of course, I am now running later versions of macOS beta and Xcode than I was in September. Does anyone know the problem? Screenshots from Terminal and Keychain Access are attached. Thank you.

Codesigning in Europe still doesn't work with IPv6
I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why codesigning was failing -- I had the pf block set up correctly, my keychains were unlocked, and then, eventually, it occurred to me, hey, maybe an IP address changed, so I disabled IPv6 except for link local, and then amazingly, it went back to working. I filed FB13706261 over a year ago. This is ridiculous.
