I am using system_profiler command to check on the installed application list from mac device. **Terminal command to check installed java version - ** But while running /usr/sbin/system_profiler SPApplicationsDataType -xml , I cant able to find Java as an installed application. Is this a known issue or do we have any alternative workaround to fetch the same?

I'm using Apple's MDM protocol InstalledApplicationListCommand to get information about installed apps. From iOS/iPadOS 26, the app information obtained by InstalledApplicationListCommand includes information on all apps including system apps (apps that come standard with iOS/iPadOS). https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/devicemanagement/installed-application-list-command I want iOS/iPadOS26 to get the same information as the app information I get from the previous iOS/iPadOS, and I want to exclude system apps from the app information I get with the InstalledApplicationListCommand. As a way to exclude system apps, you can use the app ID I'm thinking of a way to exclude anything that starts with "com.apple" (the Identifier key value of the InstalledApplicationListResponse.InstalledApplicationListItem object). As a way to exclude system apps, please tell us whether the above method is appropriate and whether there will be any problems in the future.

I'm hoping to make certain in-house apps fail to launch by revoking the in-house certificate that they were built on. This is by way of encouraging users of these apps to download updates built on a new certificate. How long will it take app built on a now-revoked certificate to no longer launch? Also, what is Apple's process for checking the validity of an in-house certificate in an app built on that certificate, running on iOS devices? I understand that provisioning profiles have built-in expiration dates, but will an in-house app that's built on a valid provisioning profile keep running even on a revoked certificate if the revocation happened before the certificate's own expiration date? I registered in this summer, uploaded 2 apps. But recently I decided to add iAP to my apps, everything is ready, in Xcode sandbox everything works fine, but when I uploaded new version to TestFlight to test, when I tap on the subscription it says something like "Product not found". (I have added subscriptions to the app, and added them to the version before submitting, also, this version is in status "awaiting developer release" so I can tap a button and this new version with iAPs will be on App Store. But im unsure what to do, because exactly this verified by Apple's version is not working in TestFlight.) In Business section of my Apple Developer Account in Agreements I only have agreement of free apps, but not about the paid apps. 
When I registered I used my (R)(us)sian passport, I think this is the reason that I simply don't even have the agreement of paid apps to accept it. 
I have multiple passports, and multiple EU debit cards. I emailed apple to change the location of my account (to another EU country), but they ghosted me. They sent me emails to upload documents about 4 or 5 times, every time I uploaded my another passport, got an auto email "thank you, we will write you in 2-3 days", but either they did not write me, or they said that the document is not in English (it isn't). 
What do I do? Also, to my situation, someone of my family has a company in (R)(us)sia, and I have in EU (Estonia). Maybe if nothing will work out with "Individual account", I should change to my company? And what is better EU or (R)(us)sian?

I get an event id back when calling the /associate api but when i check the status of that event id is can be sat in a pending state for sometimes several hours. Hi everyone, We manage several macs through Microsoft Intune. We've deployed Platform SSO using the password based method (not the Secure Enclave) and have also enforced filevault encryption through policy. What we're trying to achieve is that multiple users can log into the same Mac. For example, I (the initial enrolling user) can log in without issues. However, we want a colleague to be able to log in as well if they're physically in front of the mac. The challenge we've run into is that once filevault is enabled (We're not sure about it but reading on forums it seems that the problem is filevault), it seems the network is not available at the login screen. This means that while the first user can create a mobile account and log in, a second user can't do the same. The moment we try to log in with another set of credentials, we get an immediate error and the password field shakes instantly, suggesting it's not even reaching out to the network or directory to validate the credentials. We'd like to confirm if this behavior is expected when FileVault is active and whether the only solution is to disable FileVault or if there are alternative solutions to allow network connectivity at the login screen. Essentially, we want to know if there's a way to let a second user log in without having to turn off disk encryption. Or if we can pre-authorize a set of users on the mac in order to create all the mobile account needed.. Thanks in advance! Thomas

I have created a jwt token with headers { 'typ': 'JWT', 'alg': 'RS256' } and claim as : { 'iss': dep server UUID from Accounts call, 'iat': epoc time in seconds, 'jti': random uuid, 'service_type': 'com.apple.maid' } And signed the token with private key created during DEP MDM server creation. On the device I see Verification error when tried to login with Managed Apple account. In ABM, Access management setting was set to Managed Devices /Supervised only. Any help would be appreciated.

We have a WebContentFilter that has an AllowList with a couple of domains and a DenyList that includes www.apple.com. This works on iOS18.x but doesn't work in iOS26 as www.apple.com can be reached. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/deployment/depc77c9609/web Indicates that .apple.com is always accessible but evidence seems to indicate this wasn't the case pre iOS26. An older version of this page https://web.archive.org/web/20220427202204/https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/deployment/depc77c9609/web has no mention of .apple.com although field names are also different. Has this change come about due to the filtering changes introduced in iOS26 and is there any way we can still block .apple.com going forward. Would a content plugin be an options ?

How can we receive the iPadOS 18.6.1 update on an iPad? We have configured the MDM update days policy to receive recent, but not the latest, iPadOS updates; however, we are only able to get versions 18.6.2 and 18.6. Hi all, I'm implementing Intune MAM to secure applications on iOS. However, I need my users to be able to save files (e.g. attachments in an email in the Outlook app) to iOS Files. To do so, I'm trying to put Files in exception of my Intune MAM policy and I need to obtain the Files "CFBundleURLSchemes" value from the info.plist file of the Files app. I'm not able to get that information. Are any of you able to get that somehow? Thanks!

Hi Apple Community, At WWDC25, introduced a native device migration feature with iOS/macOS 26 and Apple Business Manager that promises seamless migration from one MDM to another without wiping devices or manual re-enrollment. That said, while testing this in iOS/macOS 26 beta, we ran into an issue: the Wi-Fi settings deployed by the old MDM aren’t retained during the migration. This means devices lose Wi-Fi connectivity partway through, and users have to manually reconnect before the migration to the new MDM can continue. This interrupts what should be a smooth, hands-off process. We wanted to ask if this is a known issue or limitation with the current beta? Are there any recommended ways to avoid losing Wi-Fi profiles during this migration window? Will this improve in future updates so that the Wi-Fi connection is preserved or seamlessly handed off to the new MDM? Any tips, workarounds, or official guidance Apple can share on best practices for handling Wi-Fi profiles during ABM-native device migrations would be hugely appreciated. Hello, I have an Apple Developer Enterprise account, and Apple Support has already enabled MDM for my account. I successfully downloaded and installed my MDM Vendor Certificate (it shows up in Keychain as MDM Vendor: [My Company Name] with its private key). Here’s what I’ve done so far: Exported the Vendor Certificate + private key as a .p12, then converted to .pem and .key using OpenSSL. Generated an unsigned CSR with CN=com.apple.mgmt.External. using OpenSSL. Attempted to sign the CSR using: my Vendor certificate the Vendor private key Apple Worldwide Developer Relations (WWDR) intermediate certificate OpenSSL smime -sign command with DER output Problem: Every time I try to upload the vendor-signed CSR to the Apple Push Certificates Portal, I get an error (CSR rejected). Sometimes OpenSSL even fails with “unable to load certificates” depending on how the WWDR certificate is included. My Questions: What is the correct OpenSSL command and certificate chain Apple expects for signing the CSR? Do I need to include any additional intermediates besides WWDR? Is there an official Apple reference example for generating the vendor-signed CSR that the Push Certificates Portal will accept? Hello, this may not be the correct place to ask this question so I apologize in advance if this is the case. We are currently having some issues when attempting to restore device back ups via iCloud that where previously enrolled to our MDM solution, as upon the restore no app data seems to be persisted over (we have tested restoring the backup on the same device and we have been able to have data persist between wipes) On the initial device we have ensured that the restrictions allowCloudKeychainSync allowManagedAppsCloudSync are set to true, and can see that the initial devices back up has the app data backed up, yet despite this data is not persisted when restoring from back up on a new device. On the device where the back up was initially done when restoring the applications are applied but indicated that they must be re-installed via our management console, once the app has been uninstalled and reinstalled the old data does show up, when applied to the new device our mdm solution pushes down the app.managed config but the device treats it as a new install. Could this possibly be due to us using Device Licensing when assigning apps? Or is it due to the intial device only performing a token update request when restoring and the new device going through the entire checkin proccess? Both devices are provisioned via DEP, and applications where assigned initially via VPP Any insight on this would be useful (For reference this is an MDM solution of our own making so we are attempting to sus out if there is a configuration issue we could be overlooking).
