How to handle subscription notifications with future purchase date
Our app server has subscription feature and processes purchase life cycles based on App Store Server Notification v1. Last year, when users purchased subscriptions during the following timeframe, we received "INITIAL_BUY" notifications with "unified_receipt.Latest_receipt_info.purchase_date" set to future date(approx. 1 hour after the actual purchase). 2024-11-03 08:00:00 - 2024-11-03 09:00:00 Etc/GMT (UTC) For example, we received the following v1 notification at 2024-11-03 08:36:33 Etc/GMT. "notification_type": "INITIAL_BUY" "unified_receipt.latest_receipt_info[].purchase_date": "2024-11-03 09:36:02 Etc/GMT" Our server grants subscription entitlement based on "purchase_date" so the users had to wait 1 hour before the subscription features became available. The timeframe coincided with the end of daylight saving time in the U.S., so we assume that it affected the behavior, but our country doesn't adopt daylight saving time. We have some questions regarding this behavior. In countries without daylight saving time, how should we handle such notifications with future purchase date in order to properly grant subscription entitlement? In App Store Server Notification v2, could purchase date be set to future date at the end of daylight saving time in the U.S., just as in v1 notifications? JWSTransactionDecodedPayload.purchaseDate

Significant delay in Transaction ID availability via App Store Server API (Error 4040010)
Hi everyone, I’ve been encountering a recurring issue with the App Store Server API over the past 48 hours, specifically regarding the Get Transaction Info endpoint. Endpoint: GET /inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId} Environment: Production Error Code: 4040010 (TransactionIdNotFound) The Issue When a user completes a purchase in our app, the client-side sends the transactionId to our backend for validation. However, when our server immediately calls the Get Transaction Info API using that ID, it frequently returns a 4040010 error, stating that the transaction ID cannot be found. Key Observations Eventual Consistency Delay: If we implement a retry logic and wait for 2 to 5 minutes, the exact same transactionId eventually becomes queryable and returns a valid signedTransactionInfo. Notifications vs. API: Interestingly, our server receives the App Store Server Notifications V2 (webhook) for these transactions almost instantly. The notifications contain the correct data, but the "Pull" API seems to lag behind the "Push" notification system. Recent Spikes: This behavior started occurring frequently within the last 2 days. Prior to this, the API was almost always near-instant. Questions Has anyone else noticed a spike in 4040010 errors or increased indexing latency in the Production environment recently? Is there a recommended "grace period" or backoff strategy when querying for a new transactionId? Apple's documentation doesn't explicitly mention an expected delay between a successful purchase and its availability via the Server API. Any insights or confirmation of similar issues would be greatly appreciated!

StoreKit / react-native-iap – Payment deducted but no transaction returned (India UPI users)
Hello, We are facing an issue with In-App Purchases (subscriptions) in two iOS apps built with React Native + react-native-iap. Issue Some users receive the error: E_CONNECTION_CLOSED during the purchase flow. However: The payment is successfully deducted via the App Store. The subscription appears in the user's Apple ID subscription list. But on our side: The app does not receive the StoreKit transaction callback No receipt or transaction ID is delivered Our backend cannot validate the purchase. Restore Purchases When affected users try Restore Purchases, StoreKit returns: No purchases found even though the subscription is visible in their Apple ID. Most affected users are from India, and many payments are made via UPI through App Store billing. Has anyone experienced a case where: *the user is charged *the subscription exists in Apple ID *but StoreKit never returns the transaction or receipt? Any suggestions on how to recover these transactions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

StoreKit Products Load After Rebuild But Not on Fresh Install (iOS/SwiftUI)
Problem: I'm implementing StoreKit 2 in my SwiftUI app. Products load successfully when I rebuild in Xcode, but on a fresh install, Product.products(for:) returns an empty array. The paywall shows "Unable to load pricing." Setup: Using StoreKit Configuration File ( .storekit ) for testing Product IDs match exactly between config and code: com..premium.lifetime (non-consumable) com..premium.monthly (auto-renewable subscription) com.****.premium.yearly (auto-renewable subscription) StoreKitManager is a @MainActor singleton with @Published properties What I've Tried: Initial delay before loading - Added 1-second delay in init before calling loadProducts() Product ID verification - Confirmed IDs match exactly between StoreKitConfig.storekit and code Retry logic with exponential backoff - Implemented 3 retry attempts with 0.5s/1s/1.5s delays Multiple calls to updatePurchasedProducts() - Called twice after initial load Verified StoreKit configuration - File is properly added to project, has valid product definitions Code Structure: swift @MainActor final class StoreKitManager: ObservableObject { static let shared = StoreKitManager() @Published private(set) var products: [Product] = [] private init() { updateListenerTask = listenForTransactions() Task { try? await Task.sleep(nanoseconds: 1_000_000_000) await loadProducts() // Returns empty on fresh install await updatePurchasedProducts() } } } Observations: ✅ Works perfectly after Xcode rebuild ❌ Fails on fresh app install (simulator & device) ❌ Product.products(for:) returns empty array (no error thrown) ✅ StoreKit configuration file is valid and properly configured Question: Why does StoreKit need a rebuild to recognize products? RequestReview API does not trigger the review sheet in Xcode testing iPadOS 26.4 beta 3

tvOS In-App Purchase – App Not Returning After Redirecting to Settings for Apple ID Verification
I'm encountering an issue with In-App Purchases on Apple TV (tvOS): When a user initiates an IAP for the first time, the system prompts them to sign in with their Apple ID, and the purchase proceeds normally. However, on subsequent purchase attempts, if the Apple ID session has expired or additional verification is required, the system redirects the user to the Settings app to sign in again. After the user signs in via Settings, the app does not automatically return to the foreground. The user must manually press the Menu button to come back. Is this is the normal behaviour of apple tv for InApp purchase? or did I need any code improvement to solve this? What I'm trying to achieve: I'd like the app to automatically return to the foreground once the user has completed the Apple ID login in Settings. Is this behavior supported on tvOS? If not, is there any known workaround or best practice to guide the user back to the app smoothly? Any advice or guidance from Apple or other developers would be greatly appreciated!

First app release rejected because IAPs didn’t appear, and now the In-App Purchases section is missing from the app version page
I’m trying to submit the first release of my iOS app together with the app’s first consumable in-app purchases, and I’m stuck in what looks like an App Store Connect state issue. My app was already rejected by App Review because the in-app purchases did not appear inside the app when the reviewer opened the paywall. Current setup: First app release Current app version page: iOS App Version 1.0.2 Current attached build: 5 App has never been released before 4 consumable IAPs: com.glowup.credits.100 com.glowup.credits.500 com.glowup.credits.1000 com.glowup.credits.2500 What I see in App Store Connect: All 4 IAPs show Waiting for Review On the iOS App Version 1.0.2 page, the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section does not appear at all Because of that, I cannot explicitly select or attach the IAPs from the version page What I’ve already done: Uploaded a new build and attached build 5 to version 1.0.2 Removed my local StoreKit configuration file so the app now uses live App Store / StoreKit only Confirmed RevenueCat is configured correctly and sees the offering/packages RevenueCat logs show the products exist remotely, but StoreKit cannot fetch any live products and returns an “offerings empty / none of the products could be fetched” type error RevenueCat also reports the products are still in WAITING_FOR_REVIEW My questions: If the IAPs already show Waiting for Review, are they automatically linked to the current app submission? Is it expected that the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section can disappear from the app version page in this state? For a first-release app that was already rejected, is attaching a new build and clicking Update Review enough, or is there another step required to associate the IAPs with the resubmission? Has anyone seen App Review reject an app for missing IAPs while the IAPs were still pending review and not yet fetchable from StoreKit? Any guidance from someone who has dealt with this exact first-release + first-IAP submission flow would help a lot.

Unexpected ONE_TIME_CHARGE Refund Callback After Successful Purchase
We are using consumable in-app purchases. Starting from May 27th, we began receiving refund callbacks with the notificationType set to ONE_TIME_CHARGE immediately after users successfully completed a payment. { "notificationType": "ONE_TIME_CHARGE", "signedPayload": "..." } During this period, we did not make any changes to our App release or server-side purchase handling logic. Could this issue result in actual refunds being processed? What steps should we take to resolve this issue? We also noticed in your changelog that a new notification type ONE_TIME_CHARGE has been introduced. Can we safely ignore callbacks with the ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type without affecting refund processing or user experience?

StoreKit 2 subscription: “Continue to Purchase” does nothing in App Review, works in TestFlight
Hi, I’ve been struggling for a while with an issue around an auto-renewable subscription using StoreKit 2 and I’d like to double-check here whether I’m missing something, or if anyone has seen similar behavior. Context • iOS / iPadOS app, first release • 1 auto-renewable subscription (only product in the app) • Using StoreKit 2 only (Product, Transaction, AppStore) • Review device according to the message: iPad Air 11” (M3), iPadOS 26.2 • I keep failing on Guideline 2.1 – App Completeness • The App Review message is always the same: “The In-App Purchase products in the app exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, no action occurred when we tapped on the Continue to Purchase button.” In App Store Connect, the subscription is properly configured, is in the state Ready for Review, and is correctly associated with this app version. What I see (locally + TestFlight) In TestFlight and local builds, the behavior looks correct: • Product.products(for: […]) returns the product, the price and currency are displayed correctly on the paywall / subscription card. • The user taps “Get PRO” → my overlay is shown (“Preparing purchase…” → then a screen with confirmation and price). • After tapping the “Continue to Purchase” button in that overlay, I call await product.purchase(). • On my devices, the system StoreKit purchase sheet always appears. • In the sandbox logs I can see: • a successful result from purchase() • a verified transaction via VerificationResult • the “user has PRO” flag being set correctly after refreshing entitlements (Transaction.currentEntitlements + fallback Transaction.latest(for:)). I’ve tested this on multiple real devices and with several sandbox Apple IDs – I cannot reproduce the “nothing happens after tapping” problem. What App Review reports App Review repeatedly claims that “no action occurred when we tapped on the Continue to Purchase button.” From their screenshots and description, the flow is: 1. They open Settings → subscription card. 2. They see the loaded price, so the product has clearly been fetched successfully from the App Store. 3. They tap my “Get SalonFlow PRO” button. 4. My overlay appears with the subscription name and price. 5. They tap “Continue to Purchase” (in my UI this is “Pokračovat k nákupu”). 6. According to them, nothing happens – no system StoreKit confirmation, no error message, no visible action. Important: this overlay did not appear as an extra complication, but as a reaction to their earlier feedback: • Originally, I had a simple flow: button in the card → directly calling purchase(). • App Review at that time said that after tapping the button “nothing happens”. • I added the overlay specifically to make it obvious that the button does react and that the app is preparing the system purchase: I show the product, the price, and a text explaining that a system App Store confirmation will appear next. • Only from that overlay do I call purchase(). So: in their environment they obviously do reach the overlay (meaning the button definitely does “something”), but the actual StoreKit purchase sheet never shows up. Additional changes and “safety belts” From the App Review video it was clear they were tapping the purchase button roughly 3 seconds after launching the app. So I tightened the flow even more: • The “Get SalonFlow PRO” button is now: • disabled until the product has been loaded from the App Store, • visually dimmed, with a spinner and a short text like “Loading subscription information, please wait…”. • The button only becomes active once the product is actually loaded and ready. • After that, the user goes through a two-step process: 1. tap “Get SalonFlow PRO” → overlay with details, 2. tap “Continue to Purchase” → this is where I call purchase(). On my devices, after that step the system purchase confirmation always appears. But App Review still says that after tapping “Continue to Purchase” nothing happens. What I’d like to ask 1. Has anyone seen a situation where Product.purchase() with StoreKit 2 works fine in TestFlight and sandbox testing, but in the App Review environment the system purchase sheet never appears (no error, just “nothing”)? 2. Are there any known edge cases on iPad (iPadOS 26.2, iPad Air M3) where the StoreKit purchase sheet might fail to show even if: • AppStore.canMakePayments == true, • the product is valid and loaded, • and no error is thrown from purchase()? 3. Could App Review consider my two-step flow (button → overlay → confirm button calling purchase()) problematic in itself, even though the overlay is there precisely because of their initial complaint that “nothing happens” after tapping the button? 4. Is there anything concrete you’d recommend: • adding to the logs, • changing in the timing/order of the purchase() call, • or adjusting in the UI, to make it absolutely clear what is happening in their environment if the system sheet never appears? From my point of view, the implementation follows the StoreKit 2 documentation, everything works correctly in real tests and TestFlight, but the App Review environment behaves differently and I keep getting stuck on Guideline 2.1. I’d really appreciate any experience, tips (“we had exactly this and fixed it by X”), or even a recommendation to radically simplify the flow back to a minimal “button → directly purchase()” without any intermediate overlay. Thanks a lot for any help – this review loop has been going on for weeks and I’d really like to finally resolve it.

IAP Phantom Error
Trying to test IAP in sandbox. I created the test group and tester accounts. Accepted the invite downloaded the app. Signed into to sandbox in settings with the tester account. In app the purchases are failing and throwing my catch error message product couldn't be found. I decided to test it from settings/ sandbox/ manage/ initiate purchase/ but I've been getting "can't complete transaction. Something went wrong, ant this transaction couldn't be completed. Try again later" since last week. I reached out to dev support over the phone then email and they couldn't or wouldn't provide assistance. I asked my senior at work she took a look at it and confirmed I created the IAP correctly and that my sandbox account could make test purchases in apps she make but couldn't get mine to work. The storekit test work fine in xcode I just don't know what to do now.

SubscriptionStoreView - Restoring Subscriptions
I'm using code similar to the following to conditionally show the SubscriptionStoreView and the .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) modifier is used to allow the user to restore an existing subscription. How can I listen for events that would allow me to close this view once the subscription is restored? The .onInAppPurchaseCompletion closure does not handle this and it also appears that listening for results in Transaction.currentEntitlements also doesn't handle the fact that a subscription is restored. Any guidance on how to determine if the subscription has been restored would be greatly appreciated. Delete TestFlight in-app purchase record by using a real ID.
Hey guys, somehow I used my real ID(not sandbox test ID) to purchase a non-consumable item in the TestFlight package, no actual payment was made, but this payment record cannot be erased. Even though I know the transaction ID, I cannot initiate a refund like using refundRequestSheet(). Does anyone know how to deal with this, or there is no way to solve it?

In-App Subscriptions Not Fetching in Sandbox or Production (expo-iap / React Native / Bare Workflow)
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with my in-app subscriptions setup. When I test using the StoreKit configuration file in Xcode, everything works correctly — the subscriptions are fetched and I can simulate purchases without any issues. However, when I switch to the Sandbox or Production environment, my app fails to fetch the available products from Apple’s servers. The call to fetchProducts (from the expo-iap library) returns an empty array. Here’s some context about my setup: Framework: React Native (Expo Bare Workflow) Library: expo-iap Products: Auto-renewable subscriptions StoreKit Configuration: Synced with App Store Connect Status: Subscription Plans are approved in App Store Connect I’ve verified the following: The product identifiers in code match exactly with those in App Store Connect. The app is signed with the correct bundle ID. I’m testing with a Sandbox account (logged in via Settings -> Developer -> Sandbox Tester Account). Despite this, the response from Apple’s servers still contains an empty array. Has anyone experienced something similar with expo-iap or in general when moving from StoreKit configuration to Sandbox/Production? Any suggestions on what else I could check or common pitfalls I might be missing? Thanks in advance!

I've been stuck with this rejection. Trial button 'greyed out' or non responsive. What they are seeing is my subscriptions not loading into the pay wall. We think its because the subscriptions haven't been reviewed and approved in order for them to populate the pay wall (activating the pay wall so it isn't 'greyed out'. Has anyone had and solved this issue?

Sandbox Url Not Receiving App Store Server Notifications
I have an Expo React Native application and I am using react-native-iap library. I have setup the URL for sandbox and production url to receive notifications when a something happens regarding subscriptions. I am not able to receive those notifications when I simulate the purchase on the Simulator using Xcode. Why does a purchase result in success unverified?
A purchase can result in success with verificationResult .unverified. Is there a list of reasons for which the transaction might be unverified and how should i handle it in my app? From my understanding, a successful unverified transaction means the user has already paid for the purchase. So, do i just ignore the unverified transaction or do i provide content to the user anyways?

Inconsistent appTransactionId in Transaction History
Issue Description When using the App Store Server API endpoint GET v2/history/{transactionId} to retrieve transaction history for a specific transaction, I'm observing unexpected changes in the appTransactionId field across related transactions in the same subscription group. Important Context: This is a "clean" auto-renewable subscription with no user intervention - the user has had continuous auto-renewals without any upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, or resubscriptions. The subscription has been renewing automatically and successfully throughout the entire period. API Call GET v2/history/1000000000000001 Response Data The API returns the following transaction history, where I notice the appTransactionId values are inconsistent across what should be a straightforward auto-renewal sequence: Note: The data below has been sanitized for privacy protection (IDs, bundle identifiers, etc. have been replaced with example values), but the logical relationships, date sequences, and the core issue remain identical to the original data. How to handle subscription notifications with future purchase date
Our app server has subscription feature and processes purchase life cycles based on App Store Server Notification v1. Last year, when users purchased subscriptions during the following timeframe, we received "INITIAL_BUY" notifications with "unified_receipt.Latest_receipt_info.purchase_date" set to future date(approx. 1 hour after the actual purchase). 2024-11-03 08:00:00 - 2024-11-03 09:00:00 Etc/GMT (UTC) For example, we received the following v1 notification at 2024-11-03 08:36:33 Etc/GMT. "notification_type": "INITIAL_BUY" "unified_receipt.latest_receipt_info[].purchase_date": "2024-11-03 09:36:02 Etc/GMT" Our server grants subscription entitlement based on "purchase_date" so the users had to wait 1 hour before the subscription features became available. The timeframe coincided with the end of daylight saving time in the U.S., so we assume that it affected the behavior, but our country doesn't adopt daylight saving time. We have some questions regarding this behavior. In countries without daylight saving time, how should we handle such notifications with future purchase date in order to properly grant subscription entitlement? Significant delay in Transaction ID availability via App Store Server API (Error 4040010)
Hi everyone, I’ve been encountering a recurring issue with the App Store Server API over the past 48 hours, specifically regarding the Get Transaction Info endpoint. Endpoint: GET /inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId} Environment: Production Error Code: 4040010 (TransactionIdNotFound) The Issue When a user completes a purchase in our app, the client-side sends the transactionId to our backend for validation. However, when our server immediately calls the Get Transaction Info API using that ID, it frequently returns a 4040010 error, stating that the transaction ID cannot be found. Key Observations Eventual Consistency Delay: If we implement a retry logic and wait for 2 to 5 minutes, the exact same transactionId eventually becomes queryable and returns a valid signedTransactionInfo. Notifications vs. API: Interestingly, our server receives the App Store Server Notifications V2 (webhook) for these transactions almost instantly. The notifications contain the correct data, but the "Pull" API seems to lag behind the "Push" notification system. Recent Spikes: This behavior started occurring frequently within the last 2 days. Prior to this, the API was almost always near-instant. Questions Has anyone else noticed a spike in 4040010 errors or increased indexing latency in the Production environment recently? Is there a recommended "grace period" or backoff strategy when querying for a new transactionId? Apple's documentation doesn't explicitly mention an expected delay between a successful purchase and its availability via the Server API. StoreKit / react-native-iap – Payment deducted but no transaction returned (India UPI users)
Hello, We are facing an issue with In-App Purchases (subscriptions) in two iOS apps built with React Native + react-native-iap. Issue Some users receive the error: E_CONNECTION_CLOSED during the purchase flow. However: The payment is successfully deducted via the App Store. The subscription appears in the user's Apple ID subscription list. But on our side: The app does not receive the StoreKit transaction callback No receipt or transaction ID is delivered Our backend cannot validate the purchase. Restore Purchases When affected users try Restore Purchases, StoreKit returns: No purchases found even though the subscription is visible in their Apple ID. Most affected users are from India, and many payments are made via UPI through App Store billing. Has anyone experienced a case where: *the user is charged *the subscription exists in Apple ID *but StoreKit never returns the transaction or receipt? Any suggestions on how to recover these transactions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

tvOS In-App Purchase – App Not Returning After Redirecting to Settings for Apple ID Verification
I'm encountering an issue with In-App Purchases on Apple TV (tvOS): When a user initiates an IAP for the first time, the system prompts them to sign in with their Apple ID, and the purchase proceeds normally. However, on subsequent purchase attempts, if the Apple ID session has expired or additional verification is required, the system redirects the user to the Settings app to sign in again. After the user signs in via Settings, the app does not automatically return to the foreground. The user must manually press the Menu button to come back. Is this is the normal behaviour of apple tv for InApp purchase? or did I need any code improvement to solve this? What I'm trying to achieve: I'd like the app to automatically return to the foreground once the user has completed the Apple ID login in Settings. Is this behavior supported on tvOS? If not, is there any known workaround or best practice to guide the user back to the app smoothly? Any advice or guidance from Apple or other developers would be greatly appreciated!

First app release rejected because IAPs didn’t appear, and now the In-App Purchases section is missing from the app version page
I’m trying to submit the first release of my iOS app together with the app’s first consumable in-app purchases, and I’m stuck in what looks like an App Store Connect state issue. My app was already rejected by App Review because the in-app purchases did not appear inside the app when the reviewer opened the paywall. Current setup: First app release Current app version page: iOS App Version 1.0.2 Current attached build: 5 App has never been released before 4 consumable IAPs: com.glowup.credits.100 com.glowup.credits.500 com.glowup.credits.1000 com.glowup.credits.2500 What I see in App Store Connect: All 4 IAPs show Waiting for Review On the iOS App Version 1.0.2 page, the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section does not appear at all Because of that, I cannot explicitly select or attach the IAPs from the version page What I’ve already done: Uploaded a new build and attached build 5 to version 1.0.2 Removed my local StoreKit configuration file so the app now uses live App Store / StoreKit only Confirmed RevenueCat is configured correctly and sees the offering/packages RevenueCat logs show the products exist remotely, but StoreKit cannot fetch any live products and returns an “offerings empty / none of the products could be fetched” type error RevenueCat also reports the products are still in WAITING_FOR_REVIEW My questions: If the IAPs already show Waiting for Review, are they automatically linked to the current app submission? Is it expected that the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section can disappear from the app version page in this state? For a first-release app that was already rejected, is attaching a new build and clicking Update Review enough, or is there another step required to associate the IAPs with the resubmission? Has anyone seen App Review reject an app for missing IAPs while the IAPs were still pending review and not yet fetchable from StoreKit? Any guidance from someone who has dealt with this exact first-release + first-IAP submission flow would help a lot.

Unexpected ONE_TIME_CHARGE Refund Callback After Successful Purchase
We are using consumable in-app purchases. Starting from May 27th, we began receiving refund callbacks with the notificationType set to ONE_TIME_CHARGE immediately after users successfully completed a payment. { "notificationType": "ONE_TIME_CHARGE", "signedPayload": "..." } During this period, we did not make any changes to our App release or server-side purchase handling logic. Could this issue result in actual refunds being processed? What steps should we take to resolve this issue? We also noticed in your changelog that a new notification type ONE_TIME_CHARGE has been introduced. Can we safely ignore callbacks with the ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type without affecting refund processing or user experience?

StoreKit 2 subscription: “Continue to Purchase” does nothing in App Review, works in TestFlight
Hi, I’ve been struggling for a while with an issue around an auto-renewable subscription using StoreKit 2 and I’d like to double-check here whether I’m missing something, or if anyone has seen similar behavior. Context • iOS / iPadOS app, first release • 1 auto-renewable subscription (only product in the app) • Using StoreKit 2 only (Product, Transaction, AppStore) • Review device according to the message: iPad Air 11” (M3), iPadOS 26.2 • I keep failing on Guideline 2.1 – App Completeness • The App Review message is always the same: “The In-App Purchase products in the app exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, no action occurred when we tapped on the Continue to Purchase button.” In App Store Connect, the subscription is properly configured, is in the state Ready for Review, and is correctly associated with this app version. What I see (locally + TestFlight) In TestFlight and local builds, the behavior looks correct: • Product.products(for: […]) returns the product, the price and currency are displayed correctly on the paywall / subscription card. • The user taps “Get PRO” → my overlay is shown (“Preparing purchase…” → then a screen with confirmation and price). • After tapping the “Continue to Purchase” button in that overlay, I call await product.purchase(). • On my devices, the system StoreKit purchase sheet always appears. • In the sandbox logs I can see: • a successful result from purchase() • a verified transaction via VerificationResult • the “user has PRO” flag being set correctly after refreshing entitlements (Transaction.currentEntitlements + fallback Transaction.latest(for:)). I’ve tested this on multiple real devices and with several sandbox Apple IDs – I cannot reproduce the “nothing happens after tapping” problem. What App Review reports App Review repeatedly claims that “no action occurred when we tapped on the Continue to Purchase button.” From their screenshots and description, the flow is: 1. They open Settings → subscription card. 2. They see the loaded price, so the product has clearly been fetched successfully from the App Store. 3. They tap my “Get SalonFlow PRO” button. 4. My overlay appears with the subscription name and price. 5. They tap “Continue to Purchase” (in my UI this is “Pokračovat k nákupu”). 6. According to them, nothing happens – no system StoreKit confirmation, no error message, no visible action. Important: this overlay did not appear as an extra complication, but as a reaction to their earlier feedback: • Originally, I had a simple flow: button in the card → directly calling purchase(). • App Review at that time said that after tapping the button “nothing happens”. • I added the overlay specifically to make it obvious that the button does react and that the app is preparing the system purchase: I show the product, the price, and a text explaining that a system App Store confirmation will appear next. • Only from that overlay do I call purchase(). So: in their environment they obviously do reach the overlay (meaning the button definitely does “something”), but the actual StoreKit purchase sheet never shows up. Additional changes and “safety belts” From the App Review video it was clear they were tapping the purchase button roughly 3 seconds after launching the app. So I tightened the flow even more: • The “Get SalonFlow PRO” button is now: • disabled until the product has been loaded from the App Store, • visually dimmed, with a spinner and a short text like “Loading subscription information, please wait…”. • The button only becomes active once the product is actually loaded and ready. • After that, the user goes through a two-step process: 1. tap “Get SalonFlow PRO” → overlay with details, 2. tap “Continue to Purchase” → this is where I call purchase(). On my devices, after that step the system purchase confirmation always appears. But App Review still says that after tapping “Continue to Purchase” nothing happens. What I’d like to ask 1. Has anyone seen a situation where Product.purchase() with StoreKit 2 works fine in TestFlight and sandbox testing, but in the App Review environment the system purchase sheet never appears (no error, just “nothing”)? 2. Are there any known edge cases on iPad (iPadOS 26.2, iPad Air M3) where the StoreKit purchase sheet might fail to show even if: • AppStore.canMakePayments == true, • the product is valid and loaded, • and no error is thrown from purchase()? 3. Could App Review consider my two-step flow (button → overlay → confirm button calling purchase()) problematic in itself, even though the overlay is there precisely because of their initial complaint that “nothing happens” after tapping the button? 4. Is there anything concrete you’d recommend: • adding to the logs, • changing in the timing/order of the purchase() call, • or adjusting in the UI, to make it absolutely clear what is happening in their environment if the system sheet never appears? From my point of view, the implementation follows the StoreKit 2 documentation, everything works correctly in real tests and TestFlight, but the App Review environment behaves differently and I keep getting stuck on Guideline 2.1. I’d really appreciate any experience, tips (“we had exactly this and fixed it by X”), or even a recommendation to radically simplify the flow back to a minimal “button → directly purchase()” without any intermediate overlay. IAP Phantom Error
Trying to test IAP in sandbox. I created the test group and tester accounts. Accepted the invite downloaded the app. Signed into to sandbox in settings with the tester account. In app the purchases are failing and throwing my catch error message product couldn't be found. I decided to test it from settings/ sandbox/ manage/ initiate purchase/ but I've been getting "can't complete transaction. Something went wrong, ant this transaction couldn't be completed. Try again later" since last week. I reached out to dev support over the phone then email and they couldn't or wouldn't provide assistance. I asked my senior at work she took a look at it and confirmed I created the IAP correctly and that my sandbox account could make test purchases in apps she make but couldn't get mine to work. The storekit test work fine in xcode I just don't know what to do now.

SubscriptionStoreView - Restoring Subscriptions
I'm using code similar to the following to conditionally show the SubscriptionStoreView and the .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) modifier is used to allow the user to restore an existing subscription. How can I listen for events that would allow me to close this view once the subscription is restored? The .onInAppPurchaseCompletion closure does not handle this and it also appears that listening for results in Transaction.currentEntitlements also doesn't handle the fact that a subscription is restored. Any guidance on how to determine if the subscription has been restored would be greatly appreciated. Delete TestFlight in-app purchase record by using a real ID.
Hey guys, somehow I used my real ID(not sandbox test ID) to purchase a non-consumable item in the TestFlight package, no actual payment was made, but this payment record cannot be erased. Even though I know the transaction ID, I cannot initiate a refund like using refundRequestSheet(). Does anyone know how to deal with this, or there is no way to solve it?

In-App Subscriptions Not Fetching in Sandbox or Production (expo-iap / React Native / Bare Workflow)

I've been stuck with this rejection. Trial button 'greyed out' or non responsive. What they are seeing is my subscriptions not loading into the pay wall. We think its because the subscriptions haven't been reviewed and approved in order for them to populate the pay wall (activating the pay wall so it isn't 'greyed out'. Has anyone had and solved this issue?

Sandbox Url Not Receiving App Store Server Notifications
I have an Expo React Native application and I am using react-native-iap library. I have setup the URL for sandbox and production url to receive notifications when a something happens regarding subscriptions. I am not able to receive those notifications when I simulate the purchase on the Simulator using Xcode. Why does a purchase result in success unverified?
A purchase can result in success with verificationResult .unverified. Is there a list of reasons for which the transaction might be unverified and how should i handle it in my app? From my understanding, a successful unverified transaction means the user has already paid for the purchase. So, do i just ignore the unverified transaction or do i provide content to the user anyways?
