integrating In-App Purchases on PWA.
I am trying to launch a PWA as an application on App Store, and got rejected cause of In-App Purchases. Application is about content generation and selling subscriptions for premium content. So thats why needed to implement In-App Purchases. I have created wrapper via PWABuilder. And it is looking great so far, now my question is about How can I implement In-App Purchases in the bundle which is already created. Any suggestions will be appreciated. More clarification:- I have that product running on Web right now, we have integrated Stripe for payment handling for subscriptions. If there is nothing we can do for In-App Purchases then we have to make purchases on website and then user will be able to experience the changes. We tried that, but then we got rejected for showing locked premium content on user's feed. Also can't show any CTA or Subscribe text or button.

Adding In-App Purchase to app + review required?
I'm trying to understand the IAP development process. I created my first Product on App Store Connect and am trying to build my app to use it. However it keeps failing with "Invalid product ID.". From what I've read, this is because the product has not yet gone through review. But what I don't understand is, of course it hasn't gone through review yet, because trying to use it in any capacity fails, even though I'm using a real physical device and using a Sandbox User. Is this the correct workflow? It seems very backwards that I have to submit the product for review, even before I know how it's going to be used. I'm still building the screen for the product page, and haven't even started touching any backend APIs, yet it's asking for screenshots. Am I misunderstanding something here?

Wrong value for storekit custom purchase link allowed regions entitlement
Greetings fellow devs, After accepting the Alternative Terms Addendum for Apps in the EU and adding the Storekit External Purchases or Offers capability via App Store Connect in our app identifier, the entitlement showing up in xcode is com.apple.developer.storekit.custom-purchase-link.allowed-regions and has the value 'jp'. How can we change the value for that entitlement to 'gr'? We tried changing it in xcode, but we get the error <Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: [app identifier]" doesn't match the entitlements file's value for the com.apple.developer.storekit.custom-purchase-link.allowed-regions entitlement.>. In Certificates, Identifiers and Profiles in the developer account there is no way to configure that capability. We sent a request to support and they only gave a link to documentation and to the forum here. We have a completed every business agreement requested and we have chosen Greece as the organisation region and the app's availability region wherever possible. We haven't found anywhere that Japan would be chosen to explain the entitlement given. So where can this entitlement about allowed regions be configured? Xcode version is 16.4 and iOS minimum deployments is 18

AppTransactionId support in Get Transaction Info endpoint — documentation change and actual behavior?
Hello, I have a question regarding the App Store Server API's getTransactionInfo endpoint. Previously, the official documentation for getTransactionInfo mentioned that: “This endpoint doesn’t support an app transaction. To get information about an app transaction, decode the signed app transaction received from the device.” However, as of June 2025, I can no longer find this sentence in the current documentation (link). Now, the docs state that all in-app purchase transaction IDs are supported (consumable, non-consumable, auto-renewable subscriptions, etc.). But in practice, when I call getTransactionInfo with an AppTransactionId (extracted from a signed App Transaction JWS), I receive this error: apiErrorCode: 4000048 “Invalid request. App transactions aren’t supported by this endpoint.” Is this endpoint supposed to support AppTransactionId now, or is the restriction still in place (but not mentioned in the docs)? Is there any official statement about when this restriction was added/removed? Can you clarify if only in-app purchase transaction IDs (and not AppTransactionIds) are supported for this endpoint, or has the policy changed recently? Any clarification or historical context would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, I would like to know about the behavior of an App Transaction in the event of a refund. If a user receives a refund for the app itself (not an in-app purchase), how can changes to the AppTransaction be detected? Does the App Store Server Notification v2 provide notifications for app-level refunds, or are such events only visible by decoding the latest App Transaction JWS on the device? Is there any way to receive app-level refund information server-side, or must we always rely on the device to provide the updated signed app transaction? Any clarification on this refund flow and notification coverage would also be appreciated. Thank you!

AppStore response times for the store test environment to make purchases is very long.
I enter the payment wall, there it takes more or less 3 to 4 minutes to show the plans, when I select the monthly plan the loader is shown and from there the pop up to make the purchase in sandbox does not appear, I have waited until a maximum of 50 minutes and it is not shown, I go back and close the app I do the same steps and I am still there, without showing the pop up. Doing this same process in xcode, everything happens immediately without any interruption.

[Bug/Doc Discrepancy] App Store Server API "price" field does not include quantity as documentation states
According to the App Store Server API documentation , https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/price the price field "shows the total amount of the transaction for the quantity the customer purchased." However, in actual transaction notifications and responses from App Store Server API, the price field appears to represent the unit price, not the total price. For consumable in-app purchases with quantity > 1, the price field equals the unit price of a single item. The total user payment is only correct after multiplying by the quantity. When quantity > 1, the actual amount paid by the user only matches price × quantity, which contradicts the documentation. Please confirm whether the price field is intended to be: The unit price of a single item (requiring multiplication by quantity), or The total price including all quantities (as currently documented). If the former is correct, please update the documentation to clarify that the value represents the unit price, not the total amount.

StoreKit Products Load After Rebuild But Not on Fresh Install (iOS/SwiftUI)
Problem: I'm implementing StoreKit 2 in my SwiftUI app. Products load successfully when I rebuild in Xcode, but on a fresh install, Product.products(for:) returns an empty array. The paywall shows "Unable to load pricing." Setup: Using StoreKit Configuration File ( .storekit ) for testing Product IDs match exactly between config and code: com..premium.lifetime (non-consumable) com..premium.monthly (auto-renewable subscription) com.****.premium.yearly (auto-renewable subscription) StoreKitManager is a @MainActor singleton with @Published properties What I've Tried: Initial delay before loading - Added 1-second delay in init before calling loadProducts() Product ID verification - Confirmed IDs match exactly between StoreKitConfig.storekit and code Retry logic with exponential backoff - Implemented 3 retry attempts with 0.5s/1s/1.5s delays Multiple calls to updatePurchasedProducts() - Called twice after initial load Verified StoreKit configuration - File is properly added to project, has valid product definitions Code Structure: swift @MainActor final class StoreKitManager: ObservableObject { static let shared = StoreKitManager() @Published private(set) var products: [Product] = [] private init() { updateListenerTask = listenForTransactions() Task { try? await Task.sleep(nanoseconds: 1_000_000_000) await loadProducts() // Returns empty on fresh install await updatePurchasedProducts() } } } Observations: ✅ Works perfectly after Xcode rebuild ❌ Fails on fresh app install (simulator & device) ❌ Product.products(for:) returns empty array (no error thrown) ✅ StoreKit configuration file is valid and properly configured Question: Why does StoreKit need a rebuild to recognize products? Is there a proper initialization sequence I'm missing for fresh installs? Environment: Xcode [Version 26.0 beta 7] iOS [IOS +17.0] Testing with StoreKit Configuration File

Recent issues in StoreKit products fetch
Hello everyone! We are observing a significant number of failures in the fetch of the products with StoreKit1, meaning that in a completely random way, some product identifiers are considered invalid in the response that we receive from Apple, and after some minutes these products are considered once again valid. The issue started on Thursday 04/24 around 12.00 am (UTC + 02.00) and from our dashboard we can clearly see the trend of these failures has some spikes at precise times. I am attaching a view that we use for monitoring purposes showing this trend, considering the data of this week. We are noticing this problem on multiple developer accounts and on multiple apps, which is leading us to think it could be an issue in the Apple backend processing the request. In our case, the apps are not launched correctly until all the products are fetched, and therefore the impact of this problem is very high. Is anyone experiencing something similar or do you have logs which allows you to identify such issues? The issue happens only in production, while in debug and TestFlight environment everything works well. Thank you for your support

RequestReview API does not trigger the review sheet in Xcode testing iPadOS 26.4 beta 3
Hello DTS team, the request review from StoreKit is not working in iOS 26.4 beta 3. I have filed a feedback (FB22157147). Sample code: import SwiftUI import StoreKit struct ContentView: View { @Environment(\.requestReview) private var requestReview @State private var count = 0 var body: some View { VStack { Button("Increase Count") { count += 1 } Text(count, format: .number) .font(.largeTitle) } .onChange(of: count) { if count == 3 { Task { try await Task.sleep(for: .seconds(2)) requestReview() print("Request Review triggered!") // On iPadOS 26.4 beta 2 & 3, requestReview() does not trigger any review system sheet when testing in Xcode 26.3 // Works on iOS 26.3.1 } } } } }

Unresolved pending purchases for consumables
In our app we are running into a few issues with pending purchases staying on receipt indefinitely. These are consumable purchases where we received the purchase succeeded from apple but then something went wrong on our servers to validate and confirm the purchase. At this point the purchase stays on the apple receipt indefinitely or until we confirm it. The problem is there are lots of scenarios where we can't confirm purchases anymore (like a game world expired/banned player/etc). So there's a few things I'd like to know to see how this could be handle correctly. 1- Was the user already charged, and if yes would they ever be refunded if the purchase is not confirmed (some sort of expiry)? 2- Is there a way to cancel this sort of pending transaction directly from the app or backend? 3- If one of these users asked for a refund from apple would this clear the purchase from the receipt? Any information would be greatI couldn't find a lot of info on this topic.

In-App Subscriptions Not Fetching in Sandbox or Production (expo-iap / React Native / Bare Workflow)
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with my in-app subscriptions setup. When I test using the StoreKit configuration file in Xcode, everything works correctly — the subscriptions are fetched and I can simulate purchases without any issues. However, when I switch to the Sandbox or Production environment, my app fails to fetch the available products from Apple’s servers. The call to fetchProducts (from the expo-iap library) returns an empty array. Here’s some context about my setup: Framework: React Native (Expo Bare Workflow) Library: expo-iap Products: Auto-renewable subscriptions StoreKit Configuration: Synced with App Store Connect Status: Subscription Plans are approved in App Store Connect I’ve verified the following: The product identifiers in code match exactly with those in App Store Connect. The app is signed with the correct bundle ID. I’m testing with a Sandbox account (logged in via Settings -> Developer -> Sandbox Tester Account). Despite this, the response from Apple’s servers still contains an empty array. Has anyone experienced something similar with expo-iap or in general when moving from StoreKit configuration to Sandbox/Production? Any suggestions on what else I could check or common pitfalls I might be missing? Thanks in advance!

How to make StoreKit config & App Store Server notifications work together?
Hi, Using StoreKit 2 with App Store Server notifications like so: User selects a purchase App calls Product.purchase() If successful, App Store notifies our backend with the transaction details, importantly with a UUID for the transaction ID. This works fine, but when I try to test contingent pricing via the handy StoreKit config Transaction Manager in Xcode by creating a PurchaseIntent if I then complete the purchase in the app the Transaction ID is sequential, (0 for the first, 1 for the second etc), which doesn't work for us as the backend might already have that ID stored so the purchase never completes. If I disable the config file it works fine, but then I can't use the Transaction Manager debug tool. Is there a way to override the ID of a custom transaction that's created via the StoreKit configuration? Thanks

how does auto sync App server price to IAP price
After I configured a consumable subscription(In App Purchases) on the apple platform, when I change the price in the App's server, is there any existing apple Api support to change the price on the apple platform? Of course, I know I need to resubmit.

I am handling the buy subscription with this function const handleBuySubscription = async (productId) => { try { await requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }); setLoading(false); } catch (error) { setLoading(false); if (error instanceof PurchaseError) { errorLog({ message: [${error.code}]: ${error.message}, error }); } else { errorLog({ message: "handleBuySubscription", error }); } } }; but the requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }) does not return anything, and it is stuck at await

Need a way to get pending purchases.
I am using Store Kit 2 to implement In App Purchases for my app. I need to maintain a pending state in the UI for all my pending purchases. Is there a way to get a list of all pending purchases? If not, is there a way to know if my pending purchase was cancelled?

Hello DTS team, the request review from StoreKit is not working in iOS 26.4 beta 3. I have filed a feedback (FB22157147). Sample code: import SwiftUI import StoreKit struct ContentView: View { @Environment(\.requestReview) private var requestReview @State private var count = 0 var body: some View { VStack { Button("Increase Count") { count += 1 } Text(count, format: .number) .font(.largeTitle) } .onChange(of: count) { if count == 3 { Task { try await Task.sleep(for: .seconds(2)) requestReview() print("Request Review triggered!") // On iPadOS 26.4 beta 2 & 3, requestReview() does not trigger any review system sheet when testing in Xcode 26.3 // Works on iOS 26.3.1 } } } } }

Thanks
