How to change promotional image of in-app purchase
My apps stuck on review stage. Reason of it is Guideline 2.3.2 - Performance - Accurate Metadata We noticed that your promotional image to be displayed on the App Store does not sufficiently represent the associated promoted in-app purchase. Specifically, we found the following issue with your promotional image: – Your promotional image is the same as your app’s icon. The problem is i can't change this image. My subscription is still in 'in review' stage and I don't have option like delete image or change image. I replied to the review explaining that I cannot change it as long as the subscription is under review, but I haven’t received any meaningful reply, except that I need to change promotion image to be eligible for further review(which i cant do because i haven't option to change this image). Has anyone had such a problem before?

Best practice to prevent users from switching between subscriptions in the same group?
Hello everyone, For example, our app currently has one subscription group in App Store Connect with 5 plans (2 annual, 2 monthly, and 1 quarterly). By default, users can go into Apple Subscriptions in Settings and freely switch between all of these plans. However, our business requirement is to only allow users to stay on one annual plan and one quarterly plan. We don’t want them to switch to the other plans. My questions are: Is there any best practice or recommended approach to restrict subscription switching within the same group? Would removing the unwanted products from sale be the correct approach, or are there any risks/downsides with this method? Has anyone faced a similar situation and found a practical solution? Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Server Not Receiving Apple App Store Server Notification
Hello, Our server isn't receiving Apple App Store Server Notification for in-app purchases. It works for Sandbox Server, even I sent a test notification which I received on the Production Server URL, but the real in-app payment notification isn't coming to the server. I checked this already: https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/appstoreservernotifications/enabling-app-store-server-notifications and everything here has been reviewed. Transport Layer Security (TLS) version and others things mentioned have been checked, test notification was received. But the main in-app purchase notification for live transaction isn't coming. What's the issue precisely?

In iOS 26 beta3 version, the finishTransaction method is unable to remove transactions from the SKPaymentQueue, causing transactions to remain in the queue even after being processed.
We have some users who have upgraded to iOS 26 beta3. Currently, we observe that when these users make in-app purchases, our code calls [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] finishTransaction:transaction]; method, and we clearly receive the successful removal callback in the delegate method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue removedTransactions:(NSArray<SKPaymentTransaction *> *)transactions. However, when users click on products with the same productId again, the method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue updatedTransactions:(NSArray *)transactions still returns information about previously removed transactions, preventing users from making further in-app purchases.

Transactions Finish does not work on iOS 26 beta3
On iOS 26 beta 3, after a user purchases an item, initiating a second order for the same product fails to process payment. The system returns the same transaction ID and displays an interface message stating: "You've already purchased this In-App Purchase. It will be restored for free." I’ve tested this – not only did the legacy StoreKit finishTransaction method fail to work, but StoreKit2 finish method also malfunctioned. When will Apple fix this issue? If unresolved, it will prevent a large number of users from making purchases normally, leading to disastrous consequences.

AppTransaction.shared doesn’t return originalAppVersion for users who installed the app in 2017
Hi, I'm using the AppTransaction.shared API to retrieve the originalAppVersion, but I'm encountering issues for users who originally installed the app in 2017. Specifically, the property doesn't seem to return the expected value (or returns nil) for these older accounts. I have verified this issue using a real App Store purchase from 2017. Steps to Reproduce: Use a test account that originally downloaded the app in 2017. Call: let shared = try await AppTransaction.shared print(shared.originalAppVersion) Observe that originalAppVersion is missing or not returned correctly. Any insights on whether this is expected behavior for very old App Store purchases, or if there is a workaround to reliably detect the original app version? Thanks in advance!

TestFlight In-App Purchase (Consumable) gets stuck when using real Apple ID – cannot repurchase even after finishTransaction
**Environment Platform:** iOS Distribution: TestFlight Product type: Consumable In-App Purchase Account used for testing: Real Apple ID (not Sandbox) StoreKit: StoreKit 1 iOS version: iOS 17+ (also reproduced on earlier versions) Issue Description We are encountering an issue when testing consumable in-app purchases in a TestFlight build using a real Apple ID. Under normal circumstances, consumable products should be purchasable repeatedly. However, in TestFlight, after a successful purchase flow, the same product may become unavailable for repurchase, and the transaction appears to be stuck, even though: • finishTransaction: is correctly called • The transaction state is .purchased • No pending transactions are left in the payment queue Once this happens, subsequent purchase attempts result in behavior similar to a non-consumable product (e.g. “already purchased” or no purchase UI shown).

StoreKit.product.purchase returns success, but subscription does not appear in Settings
Description: We are developing an iOS app that offers only one auto-renewable subscription. Recently, a user who had not subscribed for over a year purchased the subscription again through our app. However, when they checked Settings > Subscriptions, the new subscription did not appear. Instead, only their past subscription history was visible, and there was no option to cancel the new subscription. We have verified this issue with a screenshot provided by the user. Additionally, we checked our app’s logs and confirmed that StoreKit.product.purchase successfully returned .success, indicating that the purchase was processed correctly. Code used for purchase: let result = try await product? .purchase(options: [ .appAccountToken(uuid) ]) switch result { case .success(let verificationResult): switch verificationResult { case .verified(let transaction): addPurchaseLog("verificationResult.verified.") case .unverified(_, let verificationError): addPurchaseLog("verificationResult.unverified.") case .userCancelled, .pending, .none: addPurchaseLog("verificationResult.userCancelled or .pending or .none") @unknown default: addPurchaseLog("verificationResult.unknown.") } Despite the successful purchase, the new subscription does not appear under the user's active subscriptions. Could this be a bug in StoreKit? If there are any known issues or workarounds, we would appreciate any guidance. Environment: Xcode: 16.2 iOS version: 16.0+

TestFlight user cannot re-purchase expired auto-renewable subscription – only restored purchases returned
I’m testing an auto-renewable subscription on TestFlight. Now the user can't re-purchase the same product – Apple just restores the old (expired) one, and no payment sheet appears. How can I let the same TestFlight user re-subscribe to an expired product? Do I have to create a new productId for every test cycle?

IOS IAP initialization failed: NoProductsAvailable - No Product returned from store but this app works on Android and google play store
works perfectly on android but doesn't work at all on IOS and i have used the same bundle id and product ids on both stores. The error that i get on IOS is : "IAP initialization failed: NoProductsAvailable - No Product returned from store" Here are the things that i've done: Created an App ID on the apple developer portal with the correct capabilities I have enabled the correct capabilities on the xcode project Unity Framework is embed and signed, Storekit (do not embed) In singin and capabilities in-app purchases is there I am using testflight to submit the app with a distribution certificate that appears to be valid I've checked the the bundle identifier and it's the same everywhere (unity project, xcode project, App ID) All of the products are cleared for sale and are in the status "ready to submit" I always uninstall the old app version before testing the new one My banking updates are still processing does this effect TestFlight IAP Paid Apps Agreement is in Pending User Info state does this effect also I still haven't filled out the tax forms, so I'm wondering if I need to complete them before my app's in-app purchases (IAPs) work in TestFlight.

Notification Received on Consumable Purchase
Hello, I am encountering an issue where I receive an App Store Server Notification V2 upon the purchase of a consumable item. I have configured the App Store Server Notification V2 endpoint to handle notifications related to subscription products. However, I did not expect to receive notifications for consumable purchases. The notification includes the following signedPayload decoded into the ResponseBodyV2DecodedPayload object with the following values: notificationUUID: 3cd6410b-0c89-4247-aba5-20710e79895e notificationType: null subtype: null The transaction information decoded from the ResponseBodyV2DecodedPayload object is as follows: transactionId: 2000000633622618 webOrderLineItemId: null productId: heart_2 To debug, I called the Get Notification History API of the App Store Server API, and the mentioned notification for the consumable product purchase is not included in the history. Only notifications related to subscription product purchases are retrieved. According to the notification type documentation, there is no explanation for cases where both notificationType and subtype are null, nor is there any mention of receiving notifications for consumable purchases. Therefore, I am uncertain how to interpret and handle this notification. Could you please provide an explanation or guidance on this issue? Thank you. Why Non-Consumable product has originalTransactionId?
I try to call Get Transaction Info from App Store Server API, and the transactionId is for a Non-consumable type product, but it is odd that there are so many different transactionId and they have a same originalTransactionId { "bundleId": "${bundleId}", "environment": "Production", "inAppOwnershipType": "PURCHASED", "originalPurchaseDate": 1691220528000, "originalTransactionId": "${originalTransactionId}", "productId": "${productId}", "purchaseDate": 1691220528000, "quantity": 1, "signedDate": 1692590989925, "storefront": "USA", "storefrontId": "143441", "transactionId": "${originalTransactionId}", "transactionReason": "PURCHASE", "type": "Non-Consumable" } the defination of Non-Consumable is can only purchase once for same apple account. But why there would have originalTransactionId?

In-app purchase for auto-renewals subscription for sandbox
Dear Apple Support Team, We are currently implementing auto-renewable subscriptions in our iOS app and are testing the integration using the sandbox environment. On the iOS app side, the in-app purchase flow completes successfully and displays a "Purchase Successful" message. However, we are not receiving any server notification callbacks on our configured App Store Server Notifications (Sandbox) webhook URL. For your reference, the webhook URL we have set in App Store Connect (Sandbox) is: https://9c0f-182-79-123-254.ngrok-free.app/ios/webhook Despite successfully completing a subscription purchase in the sandbox, there is no evidence that the webhook is being triggered. We would appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue or confirming if there are any additional configurations or steps required on our end.

expire test subscription immediately?
is there a way to make a test subscription in-app purchase expire immediately, for faster testing? it seems exceedingly complicated to test subscriptions if we have to a) wait until the next day for expiry, or b) keep on creating new apple ids to get into a fully unsubscribed state? it is still kind of madness testing this stuff, after all the years it has been available.

StoreKit2, IAP not instantly shared with Family
Hey folks! In one of our apps we're using the FamilyControls framework to manage the screentime for the child. The app requires the Guardian to activate a subscription on his/her device to enable the functionality for the Child on the child device. We're currently using StoreKit 2 to get notified when there is an active subscription. The issue we're seeing (and our users) is that an activated subscription isn't instantly propagated to the Family members, in this case the device belonging to the child. Is this a known bug, and are the possible any workarounds? Currently we have to ask our users to "Restore Purchase" or wait minutes/hours for the app to active, which isn't a viable solution. We want it to "just work" :) Sincerely, César Pinto Castillo Ambi Studio

Unknown Error when Trying to Add New Offer Codes
Hi there! Whenever I try to add a new Offer Code for my app's subscription, I get an unknown error. When I get to the last step of the "Create Offer for Codes" flow, I get an error that error reads "An error has occurred. Try again later." I have been getting this same error for over a week now, so any help figuring out how to add new offer codes would be greatly appreciated!

Notification Received on Consumable Purchase
Hello, I am encountering an issue where I receive an App Store Server Notification V2 upon the purchase of a consumable item. I have configured the App Store Server Notification V2 endpoint to handle notifications related to subscription products. However, I did not expect to receive notifications for consumable purchases.

Not able to renew membership
You can still renew your membership within the next 8 days and your apps will remain available on the App Store during this time. Open the Apple Developer app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Sign in to your account, tap/click Renew, and follow the prompts. I'm getting this message but renew button is not visible in Developer App or on website. How to to renew?
