Apps stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over a month – never entering “In Review”

You are back to the end of the line. I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Depending on where you are, you may end up waiting for weeks, if not days. It seems that the review delay is caused by a spike in the number of submission because you can now develop an app with little or no knowledge thanks or no thanks to AI. There was no delay until last November. I'm not terribly affected. Some people like those in China seem to be heavily affected. I only guess that Apple, Inc. cannot hire and then train reviewers fast enough to keep up with demand.

I also waited about a month before my app was finally reviewed this morning, and it was rejected haha~

Same here. looking for a solution as well. frustrating.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue! My tvOS build has been stuck in review for several days as well.

I just have an one theory, maybe Apple reviews ignored builds without Liquid glass.

We've been "In Review" since the beginning of February. We use liquid glass. That's not it, every app is backed up now

Same thing here. Process started on February 21st (2026). But still in "ready for review" for more than 7 days. Already 2 mails sent to Apple. No answer.

Six weeks later, my app went into review. (A MIRACLE!) But because of the icon, it was rejected. I resubmitted it that evening with a different icon, and it went back to “Under Review” just 40 minutes later. I thought, “Wow, that was fast this time.” But it's been 10 days and it's still “Under Review.” I'm so frustrated!

I’m experiencing the same issue and wanted to add another data point.

My app submissions are repeatedly getting stuck in “Waiting for Review” and never entering “In Review.”

What makes this especially concerning is that:

one of my previous submissions stayed in Waiting for Review for about 13 days I canceled it and submitted a new build the new build is now stuck in Waiting for Review as well I also submitted an expedited review request, but it still has not moved forward I contacted support multiple times and have not received any response

This does not seem to be a normal review delay in my case, because the app is not entering review at all.

Has anyone here had a submission eventually move forward after this kind of repeated pattern on the same app?

I would also appreciate any advice from Apple if there is anything specific I should check on my account or app record.
