Notarization submissions stuck in "In Progress" for many hours with no logs
Hi, I currently have multiple notarization submissions that have been stuck in "In Progress" status for many hours without any updates. Here are several examples from my recent submissions: Submission IDs: 01f7a80e-a9cc-49b3-bb93-94b126cf3124 (a.dmg) 7af2b25f-e131-40a4-bcd3-0f7583ebbdc2 (a.dmg) 2b35ec79-d851-41d6-a900-788d4201a273 (b.dmg) 8194b1af-a270-4de9-92f1-ce2a8d4782f2 (c.dmg) 2608dcfc-7652-4efa-97e3-1749e7130dcb (d.zip) These submissions were created between March 11 and March 12, and all of them remain stuck in the "In Progress" state indefinitely. When checking using: xcrun notarytool history all recent submissions appear as: status: In Progress Additionally: No logs are available for these submissions. notarytool --wait eventually times out after 30 minutes with exit code 124. The app bundles are signed with a valid Developer ID Application certificate. All embedded frameworks and dylibs are individually signed using: --options runtime --timestamp Earlier submissions on the same day (for example df41010c-a3c6-4e2d-a455-b657693e8541) were successfully notarized and returned Accepted, so the signing configuration appears to be correct. Because many submissions across different files (DMG and ZIP) are stuck in the same state, it seems possible that the notarization service queue may be stalled. Could you please help confirm: Whether these notarization submissions are stuck on the Apple notarization service side If there is currently a service issue affecting notarization processing Whether I should cancel and resubmit these uploads Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Issues with "denyAppRemoval" and "denyAppInstallation" being stuck after turned off / uninstall
Hello, according to reports from our users these two ManagedSettingsStore options seem to be stuck in the enabled state even after turning them off or removing screen time permissions and uninstalling the app that configured them. Is this possible? Has anyone seen it? The denyAppRemoval (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/managedsettings/applicationsettings/denyappremoval-swift.property) prevents the user from uninstalling any apps from their device when active. The denyAppInstallation (https://aninterestingwebsite.com/documentation/managedsettings/applicationsettings/denyappinstallation-swift.property) "hides" App Store, making it impossible to install any new apps. We haven't been able to replicate it yet. Does anyone know about workarounds when this happens? So far it seems like the only way is to reset the affected device.

App stuck in “Ready for Review” for many days – is there currently a delay in App Review?
Hello everyone, I would like to ask if other developers are currently experiencing long delays to approve an app. In my case, my macOS app update (version 1.1) has been stuck in “Ready for Review” for more than 8 days without entering the review phase. Timeline: • Feb 21 – Initial submission • Feb 22 – In Review • Feb 25 – Rejected • Feb 25 – Resubmitted • Mar 2 – In Review • Mar 2 – Rejected • Mar 5 (Wednesday) – Submitted again → Ready for Review • Today – Still Ready for Review, never entered In Review All issues mentioned in the previous rejections were fixed and the build was resubmitted successfully. What also confuses me is that in the App Review section I see a red exclamation mark, even though there are no unresolved messages and the build shows as submitted. I would like to ask: • Are others currently seeing unusually long delays? • Could this indicate a queue issue or system problem? • Has Apple changed something recently in the review pipeline? Normally my previous versions were reviewed and approved in a couple of days, so this delay seems quite unusual. Thanks in advance for any insight from other developers.

Numbers Extension in Shortcuts
I am building an automation using Shortcuts. The shortcut reads text from my Notes, sends it to Apple Intelligence, converts the result into dictionary values, and then saves those values into a Numbers sheet by adding rows through a form. The problem is that when the automation processes multiple lines and adds multiple rows, the Numbers app opens every time a row is added. I would like this process to run automatically at a scheduled time without opening the Numbers app repeatedly on my iPhone. Is there a way to update the Numbers sheet in the background without launching the Numbers app? Please let me know if there is a solution.

Bluetooth audio packet alignment
We’re evaluating a Bluetooth device that supports Hands Free Profile (HFP) as the “Hands-Free Unit”. You can think of this as a Bluetooth telephone headset. This device interacts with our iOS application. We observed the following. The iPhone 17 HFP Wide-Band Speech (WBS) mSBC decoder requires the WBS packet (H2 header + mSBC frame) to be sent aligned. Aligned meaning, the H2 header must be first in every packet. The WBS packet cannot span multiple eSCO packets or else the iPhone will discard the audio. This is a different implementation than the iPad (iPad Pro 11-inch M4) , presumably due to Apple’s new N1 chip. In other words, we’ve identified that older iPhones and iPads do not require this alignment. They have implemented a stateful parser/decoder of the HFP WBS audio. A quick picture to help illustrate. The iPhone 17 requires: | Frame | Frame | Frame | Frame | However, a Bluetooth implementation we are evaluating does: | me Fra | me Fra | me Fra | me Fra | Does Apple intend to keep this implementation and continue discarding audio frames that are not aligned? Page 115 of the Bluetooth HFP 1.8 specification mentions at the bottom that this behavior is “left up to the implementation” but that the “synchronization header enables unaligned codec audio frames to be recovered by the receiving side.” We understand and acknowledge that one whole frame per eSCO packet is the intended, optimal method for delivering WBS mSBC audio for reduced jitter, latency, and memory usage. However, the more robust solution would be to maintain a stateful receiver as previously implemented. Any input would be appreciated.

Build stuck in "In Review" for 29+ hours after 3.1.2(c) resubmission
Our app Miiro (App ID: 6759159052) was rejected for Guideline 3.1.2(c) on March 13. We fixed the pricing hierarchy on the paywall (yearly price now displayed as primary, monthly equivalent as subordinate) and resubmitted the same day at 2:25 PM CET. We also replied in the Resolution Center explaining the fix. The build moved to "In Review" shortly after but has been stuck there for over 29 hours with no status change. We requested an expedited review on March 14. This is our first app submission. We are a small two-person team and the app is ready for launch. Any help moving this forward would be appreciated.

presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet Not showing product icon
Hi - Using storekit2 on ios26.2 and using presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet to allow users to leverage Offer Codes. The codes work (sandbox and production), however on the confirmation view that shows Redeem Special Offer, while my App Icon is properly displayed up top, the associated product subscription image is missing and I see a grey App Store image/icon instead. I do successfully see the associated subscription and pricing to the right. My subscription product images are already reviewed/approved and have been live for a number of weeks. I see this in Sandbox and Production (with a live customer sending me the phone screenshot). PS, my product icons/logos all show up successfully during normal checkout in sandbox/production, this only occurs on Offer Code Redemption views.

App being In Review for multiple days
My app has been stuck on "In Review" for about 3 days now. Before that, it also spent around 3 days in "Waiting for Review," so the total time has been close to 6 days. From what I’ve seen in the past, it usually takes 2–3 days to move from "Waiting for Review" to "In Review," and then only a few hours to get a decision once the review actually starts. However, this time it seems different. Based on my server/Firebase logs, it doesn’t look like the reviewer has opened the app yet or created a test account, so it seems like the review may not have actually started. This is my first app submission, so I’m not sure if that might affect the timeline. Has anyone experienced something similar recently? Is this normal, or is there something I should do (for example contacting App Review or requesting an expedited review)? Any advice would be appreciated.

Clarifications on App Store Server API, StoreKit 1 vs StoreKit 2, and Subscription Notification Handling
Hi everyone, We are currently working on improving our subscription backend integration with Apple’s App Store Server API and StoreKit, and had a few questions around StoreKit 1 vs StoreKit 2 behavior and server-to-server notifications. Looking for clarification on the following points: /inApps/v1/subscriptions/{originalTransactionId} response compatibility Does the App Store Server API endpoint /inApps/v1/subscriptions/{originalTransactionId} return consistent response structures for subscriptions created via StoreKit 1 and StoreKit 2, or are there any differences we should account for when parsing the response? Transaction format in S2S notifications for StoreKit 1 purchases If a user initially purchases a subscription using StoreKit 1, and the subscription renews later, what transaction format is sent in server-to-server notifications? Does Apple still maintain StoreKit 1 style transaction payloads, or Are they converted into StoreKit 2–style signed transactions? Validation of signedTransactionInfo and signedRenewalInfo In App Store Server Notifications V2, the payload includes signedTransactionInfo and signedRenewalInfo. Is there an official Apple API endpoint that can be used to validate these tokens? Offer / coupon identification from S2S notifications Can server-to-server notifications reliably indicate which offer was applied (intro offer, promotional offer, or offer code)? If yes, which fields in the transaction payload should be used to identify this? Trial period identification in StoreKit 2 In StoreKit 1, the field is_trial_period was commonly used to detect free trials. Since this is deprecated in StoreKit 2, which field or transaction property should be used to identify whether a purchase corresponds to a trial period?

StoreKit sandbox consumable purchase returns restored on second purchase instead of completing a new purchase
I am testing a consumable in-app purchase in the StoreKit sandbox and I am seeing behavior that does not seem correct on repeat purchase attempts. Product details Product ID: album.credit.v2 Type: Consumable Test environment: iOS device + StoreKit sandbox Purchase flow triggered from my Flutter app using Apple IAP What happens First purchase attempt works My backend receives the confirmation The album is granted correctly On the second purchase attempt of the same consumable, I do not get a normal new purchase flow Instead, StoreKit returns the product as restored My app then cancels the attempt because a restored transaction arrived during checkout Expected behavior Because this product is a consumable, each purchase attempt should behave like a new purchase and allow the user to buy it again. Actual behavior On the second attempt, the transaction update comes back as restored instead of a new successful consumable purchase. Relevant logs First successful purchase: [ProPurchasePage] ✅ Pay tapped. starting=false iap=true albumProd=album.credit.v2 proProd=pro.monthly [IAP] update: id=album.credit.v2 status=PurchaseStatus.restored pendingComplete=false err=null [IAP] expected=album.credit.v2 starting=true appleFlow=true [ProPurchasePage] album credit success status=PurchaseStatus.restored receiptLen=5334 [AppleIapService] Sending Apple IAP confirmation for albumId=ariie_west_pretty_girl_summer, buyerUid=PYjgu9TMCieCVDLIdTuawY5k4Ay2 [AppleIapService] appleIapConfirm response status: 200 [AppleIapService] appleIapConfirm applied for albumId=ariie_west_pretty_girl_summer buyerUid=PYjgu9TMCieCVDLIdTuawY5k4Ay2 After that, the purchase is written correctly on my side: "libraryAlbums": [ { "AlbumId": "ariie_west_pretty_girl_summer", "paid": true, "Quantity": 1 } ] Second and later attempts: [ProPurchasePage] ✅ Pay tapped. starting=false iap=true albumProd=album.credit.v2 proProd=pro.monthly [ProPurchasePage] buyConsumable (album.credit.v2) returned: true [IAP] update: id=album.credit.v2 status=PurchaseStatus.restored pendingComplete=false err=null [IAP] expected=album.credit.v2 starting=true appleFlow=true [IAP] restored arrived during album checkout — cancelling attempt Question Is this expected StoreKit sandbox behavior for a consumable, or does this suggest: a StoreKit sandbox issue, a problem with how the product is configured in App Store Connect, or a transaction-handling issue in the app/plugin layer? Also, is there any Apple-recommended handling for repeated consumable purchases when sandbox keeps surfacing a restored status?

Do i really have to incorporate, to update my app?
I’ve been developing apps for 8 years. On the tenth update of my latest app, I got yet another new rejection reason. I co-founded an app called Yuna AI with my wife, who is a Registered Dietitian and a member of the CDO. When trying to release version 1.0.10, I was told I can’t publish it under my name as a sole proprietor. I’m honestly starting to lose faith in the review process. My previous submission was rejected for not properly disclosing in-app purchases, even though my app doesn’t have any in-app purchases. Rejection reason "The app must be published under a seller and company name that is associated with the organization or company providing the services. In this case, the app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the Yuna AI name. The guideline 5.1.1(ix) requirements give users confidence that apps operating in highly regulated fields or that require sensitive user information are qualified to provide these services and will responsibly manage their data." Do i really have to pay to incorporate a company to put my app under and a sole proprietorship isn't enough? Im going to be moving soon and probably not best for me to incorporate now in Canada. does that mean i don't get to update my app anymore?

Position and orientation of a window in an immersive space

App is Not Receiving Healthkit Background Delivery
I am trying to figure out why my app is not receiving background deliveries from Healthkit. I have a successfully implemented HKObserverQuery  which is being used to send data like step count to a server. I have a successful enableBackgroundDelivery (completes without errors). I have also checkmarked the HealthKit Background Delivery and Clinical Health Records options in my app's Signing and Capabilities configurations. I know the observer is functional because the health data gets sent to the server when the app is running. The problem is I haven't seen any evidence of the observer handler being triggered when the app is not running. What am I missing? And what is the best way to go about debugging what is going wrong?

Thank you.

App Store reviews taking too long
Has everyone in the app review team decided to take vacation at the same time? I have two apps waiting for almost a week. One of the reviews is just an update. We're paying $99 a year...for what, exactly?

App Still Pending Approval
Hi, I was told my app (first one) would only be pending at maximum 48 hours, and it's been closer to 60 now. I know it isn't a crazy difference, but of what I've seen I was expecting closer to within the first day. Any help?

Swift Data Recovery
Hi Writing an app in Swift on Xcode for my iPhone, all software is the latest version. If after making a minor change and re-building all the application data has disappeared, is there a way to see if it is still in the .modelContainer and just not showing up?

Position and orientation of a window in an immersive space
Is it possible to retrieve the position and orientation of a window that is opened in an immersive space? The following code: struct MyWindow: View { var body: some View { VStack { Text("Hello") } .onGeometryChange3D(for: Point3D.self) { proxy in try! proxy .coordinateSpace3D() .convert(value: Point3D.zero, to: .worldReference) } action : { point in print(point) } } } seems to work for the position, but I also need the orientation.
